Blackjack Mulligan & Blackjack Lanza fought WWWF Tag Team Champions Dominic DeNucci & Victor Rivera to a no contest in a non-title match at 11:46; at the 5-minute mark, Capt. Lou Albano came ringside, stopping by the announce area to say that the Blackjacks were now his team; minutes later, Albano began physically interfering in the match, leading to a brawl between the two teams on the floor and in the ring; in the ensuing battle, the wooden ring steps were used as a weapon, wrestlers were thrown into the ringpost, Rivera assaulted the Blackjacks with a wooden chair, and Albano broke off part of the ring steps and assaulted Rivera with them; the bell rang as the show was about to go off the air and Rivera was fighting off the Blackjacks on the floor with the chair; after the show went off the air, a near riot is said to have happened that led police to using tear gas (Albano’s surprise debut with the Blackjacks)

7/12/75 – hosted by Vince McMahon & Antonino Rocca; featured McMahon conducting an opening interview with WWWF Tag Team Champions Dominic DeNucci & Victor Rivera, where Rivera announced he was vacating his half of the Tag Team Championship on advice from his manager and lawyer as he would be attempting to go for the World Championship; DeNucci said he understood the decision and they were still friends; it was also announced that Rivera would fulfil any previous commitments, teaming with DeNucci until they were all completed; DeNucci was then allowed to select a new partner to be co-holder of the Tag Team Championship with him going forward, and introduced Pat Barrett; McMahon then interviewed Barrett who said he wouldn’t attempt to fill the shoes of Rivera, and would try and be the best champion possible:
