Chyna won the 10-person Corporate Rumble by last eliminating Vince McMahon at 10:50; order of entry: WWF IC Champion Ken Shamrock (0:00), Billy Gunn (0:56), the Big Bossman (1:18), Test (2:21) (Road Dogg’s music accidentally played when Test came out), WWF European Champion X-Pac (3:32), the Road Dogg (4:42), Kane (6:10), Triple H (7:13), Vince McMahon (w/ Pat Patterson & Gerald Brisco) (9:07), and Chyna (10:47); order of elimination: Shamrock eliminated himself while diving onto Gunn outside the ring (0:04); Shamrock assaulted Gunn around ringside after the elimination, repeatedly ramming him into the steel ring steps until the Bossman came out; Gunn by Test via a reversal into a hiptoss (3:57); Road Dogg by Kane via a clothesline (6:33); Test by Kane via a choke throw after Test accidentally hit a clothesline on Kane (7:35); Kane by Triple H & X-Pac via a double clothesline (7:40); X-Pac by Bossman (7:42); Triple H & Bossman by McMahon (9:11); after the elimination, McMahon celebrated in the ring with Patterson & Brisco and tore his shirt like Hulk Hogan, believing there were no other entrants and he had won; McMahon by Chyna when, after Chyna knocked down Patterson & Brisco on the floor, Steve Austin came out and distracted McMahon from the floor; stipulations stated the winner would be the #30 entrant in the Royal Rumble match; Shane McMahon provided guest commentary for the match (The Best of Raw Vol. 1 & 2)

Chyna defeated Pat Patterson & Gerald Brisco in a handicap match at 6:01 by sitting on both men following DDTs; Brisco wore a Brisco Brothers Body Shop T-shirt for the match; during the bout, it was noted Patterson’s birthday was the following day; late in the contest, after blinding Chyna with powder to her eyes, Patterson fondled her breasts; the action was blurred on the screen (The Best of Raw Vol. 1 & 2)
Kane defeated the Rock via disqualification after the Corporation attacked Kane; prior to the match beginning, Kane was attacked by the Corporation; after the match, Mankind made the save and hit Rock with a chair after Rock became distracted by Steve Austin

1/25/99 – featured the announcement Mankind would challenge WWF World Champion the Rock six days later during Halftime Heat on USA; included the announcement that, despite Vince McMahon’s victory the night before at the Royal Rumble, Steve Austin would challenge for the WWF World Title at WrestleMania but that Austin would face McMahon at St. Valentine’s Day Massacre in a steel cage match:

Droz defeated George Steele; the Oddities made the save after the match
Owen Hart & Jeff Jarrett defeated WWF Tag Team Champions – WWF IC Champion Ken Shamrock & the Big Bossman to win the titles after the Blue Blazer interfered and hit Shamrock over the head with a guitar
Test pinned Val Venis after Ken Shamrock interfered and hit Val with a chair; Billy Gunn made the save until Val attacked him, thinking it was him that used the chair
Al Snow & WWF Hardcore Champion the Road Dogg defeated Edge & Gangrel in a hardcore match after Snow used Head as a weapon; the Ministry attacked both Snow and Road Dogg after the match
WWF World Champion the Rock defeated Triple H (w/ Chyna) in an I Quit match at 9:12 when, as the challenger attempted to put Rock through the announce table with a Pedigree, the Big Bossman, Kane, WWF IC Champion Ken Shamrock, & Test came to the ring and held Chyna hostage, with Bossman taking the mic and threatening to have Kane drop Chyna with a chokeslam if Triple H didn’t quit; Triple H then quickly threw the match before tending to Chyna in the ring; moments later, he faced off against Kane before Chyna hit Triple H with a low blow and shoved him to the mat; Kane, Bossman, Test, and Shamrock then came back in the ring with Kane dropping Triple H with a chokeslam as Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, Pat Patterson, and Gerald Brisco came out, with Vince and Shane hugging Chyna (The Best of Raw Vol. 1 & 2)

WWF Hardcore Champion Bob Holly pinned Steve Blackman after Droz interfered and hit Blackman with a steel rod; after the match, Bart Gunn challenged Holly for a title match the following week
The Big Bossman, Test, & Ken Shamrock fought Mideon & the Acolytes to a no contest when the Undertaker captured Shane McMahon on the ramp and gave him an envelope to give to Vince
The Rock defeated WWF World Champion Mankind in a ladder match to win the title at 13:00 after Paul Wight interfered as the champion had the Mandible Claw applied on the challenger and chokeslammed Mankind off the top of the ladder; following the entrances, Steve Austin appeared to do guest commentary for the match; after the bout, Rock knocked the ladder on top of Mankind who was laid out inside the ring; as the show came to a close, Austin slid into the ring behind the Rock and dropped him with the Stunner before holding up the title belt and throwing it back to the mat (The Rock: The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment, Ladder Match 2: Crash & Burn)

X-Pac pinned Chyna after Triple H interfered and hit a Pedigree on Chyna; due to prematch stipulations, X-Pac earned a European title shot for WrestleMania XV
The Undertaker defeated Kane in an Inferno Match at 6:49 when Taker grabbed Kane’s foot and pushe dit into the flames; prior to the bout, Vince McMahon cut an in-ring promo in which he said Taker would burn in hell for what was in the envelope McMahon held, only saying that it was personal, and told fans who didn’t like the smell of burning flesh to leave; moments later, McMahon introduced Kane before ordering him to make Taker pay; McMahon then joined the commentary team of Michael Cole & Jerry Lawler for the bout; mid-way through the match, Paul Bearer brought a package ringside and put it on the commentary table in front of McMahon; after several minutes passed, McMahon opened it to find a teddy bear inside, then grabbing it and walking around ringside with a confused look on his face; after the match, Taker took the bear from McMahon and set it on fire, with McMahon pleading as it went up in flames (The Undertaker’s Most Dangerous Matches)

Triple H & X-Pac fought WWF Tag Team Champions Owen Hart & Jeff Jarrett (w/ Debra) to a double disqualification when all four men began brawling in the ring; after the bout, Ivory came ringside and disrobed Debra

WWF Women’s Champion Sable pinned Ivory with the Sable Bomb after Jackie tripped Ivory; after the bout, Tori and Sable brawled
Mankind defeated WWF World Champion the Rock via disqualification when Paul Wight interfered and hit a chokeslam on the challenger; due to prematch stipulations, Mankind became the guest referee for the main event match between Steve Austin and Wight
Kane fought Goldust to a no contest when, before the bout began, Goldust shot his opponent in the face with a pyro gun, then taking off his costume to reveal himself as Triple H; during Kane’s entrance, it was noted he would face Triple H and that Goldust would face WWF IC Champion the Road Dogg, Ken Shamrock, and Val Venis at WrestleMania; after the incident, Triple H continued to pound away at a blinded Kane until referees swarmed the ring; moments later, as Tony Garea attempted to tend to Kane, Triple H gave Kane several crotch chops and left the ring (The Best of Raw Vol. 1 & 2)

3/29/99 – included the new WWF World Champion Steve Austin cutting an in-ring promo to open the show in which he asked Vince McMahon to come out so he could relinquish the world title belt; after giving Vince the belt, Austin had footage shown from Breakdown in which McMahon ran off with the Smoking Skull belt and later said it would be put above his fireplace at home; Austin then demanded that Vince go home and give him back the Smoking Skull belt by the end of the show or he would beat him up; moments later, as Austin was looking the other way, Vince hit him with the title belt and ran backstage; featured X-Pac cutting an in-ring promo in which he said DX would not die and that he and the New Age Outlaws would continue to raise hell, then said he would fight Triple H later in the show; included the Undertaker calling Vince McMahon on the phone backstage to torment him after kidnapping Stephanie; featured Vince McMahon telling Ken Shamrock he would always be indebted to him for finding Stephanie and then telling Shane to simply give Steve Austin his Smoking Skull belt after it was brought to the arena from Greenwich, CT; included a closing segment in which Shane McMahon cut an in-ring promo in which he said that if Steve Austin wanted his Smoking Skull belt back, he would have to go through the Rock; moments later, the Rock came out with the belt over his shoulder and cut a promo on Austin, with Austin coming out soon thereafter and the two men brawling around ringside; the ensuing battle saw Austin hit the Stunner on Shane, Rock hit Austin with the Smoking Skull belt, and other members of the Corporation – including Triple H, Test, and Ken Shamrock – help in beating the champion down; moments later, the Big Show came out to help clear the ring, with Triple H sustaining the chokeslam from Show:
Ivory & Tori defeated WWF Women’s Champion Sable & Jackie when Tori pinned Jackie with a backslide at 1:25 after Sable hit her own partner in the back with the women’s title belt; after the bout, the Ministry – the Undertaker, Paul Bearer, Gangrel, Edge, Christian, Viscera, and Mideon – came to the ring with Taker holding Sable as bait for Vince McMahon to come ringside; after Vince came out, he quickly realized it was a trap; when he ran backstage, he found that Stephanie had gone missing
The Big Show pinned Test with a boot to the face and the chokeslam at the 30-second mark; after the bout, Show cut a promo directed at Vince McMahon, saying no one owns him
WWF Hardcore Champion Hardcore Holly pinned Steve Williams (w/ Jim Ross) after Al Snow came out of the crowd, hit the challenger over the head with a frying pan, and pulled Holly on top of Williams; moments prior to the finish, Williams hit the Oklahoma Stampede powerslam on Holly through a table set up in the ring but referee Tim White had been knocked out; during the bout, JR joined the Spanish commentary team
The Rock (w/ WWF European Champion Shane McMahon) pinned Billy Gunn with the Rock Bottom / People’s Elbow combo at 5:21; during the bout, Shane did guest commentary
Ken Shamrock defeated Gangrel via submission with the ankle lock at 5:35 after hitting a belly to belly suplex; after the bout, the lights flickered and Shamrock was attacked by Edge & Christian, with Shamrock sustaining a bloodbath; when the lights came back on, Shamrock immediately locked Christian in the ankle lock, with Christian confessing that Stephanie McMahon was being held in the basement; after the commercial break, Shamrock was shown searching in the basement for Stephanie where he eventually found her
Goldust (w/ the Blue Meanie) pinned WWF IC Champion the Road Dogg to win the title at 4:09 with the Curtain Call after Meanie hit Road Dogg in the face with the title belt as the champion was against the ring ropes; early in the bout, Ryan Shamrock came out to be in Goldust’s corner but the Blue Meanie and Goldust wouldn’t allow her to be ringside and Meanie quickly sent her backstage; after the bout, Goldust cut a promo saying he now knew who he was and soon everyone else would too
WWF Tag Team Champions Owen Hart & Jeff Jarrett (w/ Debra) defeated the Legion of Doom (w/ Paul Ellering) at 2:49 when Owen pinned Road Warrior Animal after Jarrett broke his guitar over Animal’s back, moments after Hart sustained the Doomsday Device
X-Pac defeated Triple H (w/ Chyna & WWF European Champion Shane McMahon) via disqualification at 3:34 when X-Pac chased an interfering Shane into the ring and sustained a clothesline from Chyna; after the bout, X-Pac was beaten down and sustained the Pedigree until Kane came out; after Kane took a chair shot to the head from Triple H, he quickly sat back up and stalked Triple H & Chyna backstage; Triple H used the “No Chance” McMahon song as his theme

4/12/99 – hosted by Jim Ross, making his full-time return to Raw, & Jerry Lawler; included an opening backstage segment with Vince and Stephanie McMahon, surrounded by four police officers, with Stephanie happy to be with her father; featured Shane McMahon leading the Corporation to the ring, with Ken Shamrock demanding an explanation to why they didn’t help his sister Ryan when she was abducted, with Shane then calling Stephanie & Vince to the ring and claiming Vince’s priorities were to his daughter and not the Corporation, with Shane then firing Pat Patterson & Gerald Brisco from the group and slapping Vince in the face; moments later, as Shane berated Vince, Shamrock walked out on the Corporation, with Vince shown shaking his hand backstage after the commercial break before getting into a limo with Stephanie, Patterson, & Brisco; featured the Undertaker appearing on the Titantron and claiming an innocent victim would be sacrificed later since Vince left with Stephanie; included a Chef Boyardee promo featuring Mankind; featured an in-ring segment with WWF World Champion Steve Austin claiming he would retake the Smoking Skull title belt at Backlash from the Rock, with Rock appearing on the Titantron and challenging Austin to come fight him on an undisclosed bridge somewhere in Detroit; included Michael Cole interviewing Mankind in a boiler room, with Mankind stating Paul Wight would leave the Boiler Room Brawl on a stretcher at Backlash; moments later, Shane ordered Rodney & Pete Gas to find Mankind and take him out, with Mankind beating them down later in the show; featured a promo for WWF The Music Volume 3; included Shamrock locating his sister Ryan in the Boiler Room, with Ken and Mankind then being attacked by the Ministry of Darkness, with Taker stating Ken would be their next convert; featured Taker ordering the Ministry to tie Ken Shamrock to Taker’s symbol on the entrance stage, with Edge, Christian, and Gangrel refusing and brawling with the Acolytes, Viscera, and Mideon, and Mankind eventually joining the fight as Shamrock freed himself; included Shamrock calling out Taker for a fight, with the lights going out and Taker appearing in the ring, with the two brawling until the Ministry of Darkness came to Taker’s aid, with Triple H & the Big Bossman then pulling Shamrock out of the ring and attacking him as Shane looked on; featured a closing segment with Austin and Rock brawling on the bridge, with Rock knocking Austin off and into the river below and then throwing the Smoking Skull title belt into the river as well:

5/10/99 – Monica Seles was in attendance for the event; included an in-ring promo by the Union – Vince McMahon, Mankind, Test, Ken Shamrock, & the Big Show, with three security guards in riot gear – in which Vince called Shane McMahon out until Shane appeared on the stage with the Corporate Ministry; moments later, Commissioner Shawn Michaels interrupted Shane on the Titantron, with Michaels announcing that Vince McMahon would be the second special referee for the Austin / Taker match at Over the Edge, alongside Shane; Michaels then announced matches for later in the night; Farooq would face Bradshaw in a lumberjack match, with the lumberjacks being all the members of the Union, Test vs. Bossman in a nightstick match, Brisco & Patterson vs. the Mean Street Posse in a Loser Leaves the WWF match, Shamrock vs. Chyna, Show vs. Paul Bearer (if any Ministry member interferes, Taker loses his title shot at Over the Edge), Cactus Jack vs. Mideon & Viscera in a handicap hardcore match, WWF Women’s Champion Sable vs. Debra in a evening gown match (if Sable fails to show, she’s stripped of the title), and Austin, Rock, & Vince vs. Triple H, Taker, & Shane; Michaels then asked that the Union’s three security guards to unmask, with one being Pat Patterson, the other being Gerald Brisco, and the third being the special referee for the main event – Shawn Michaels himself; featured a Steve Blackman vignette; included a Beaver Cleavage vignette in which Beaver’s mom cleaned up his scraped knee:
Billy Gunn fought WWF Tag Team Champion Kane to a no contest at around the 5-minute mark when the Road Dogg and X-Pac came out to help Kane as he was tied upside down in the ring ripes, with Gunn and Road Dogg fighting into the crowd as X-Pac & Kane were jumped from behind by Mark Henry & D-Lo Brown, with Ivory; Henry & D-Lo were eventually pulled away by officials before being chased backstage by Kane & X-Pac prior to the bout, Gunn was approached by a planted female fan who jumped out of the crowd and hugged Gunn before she was pulled away by security
The Big Show fought Paul Bearer to a no contest at around the 3-minute mark when Show was jumped by all the members of the Ministry after calling them out; moments prior, Show grabbed the microphone and asked if Commissioner Michaels would waive the stipulation that barred the Ministry from ringside after Show had laid Bearer out; prior to the match, Bearer attempted to flee backstage but was stopped by Michaels, who then joined the commentary team; after the bout, the Union made the save for Show wielding 2x4s
Debra defeated WWF Women’s Champion Sable (w/ Nicole Bass) to win the title via reverse decision in a bra and panties match; Sable originally won the match at the 50-second mark after Debra became distracted by Val Venis at ringside; moments later, as Val was backing off from Nichole Bass, who seemed to be coming on to him, Jeff Jarrett came out behind Venis and broke a guitar over his head; after the bout, Michael Cole attempted to interview Sable in the ring, with Shawn Michaels – who did guest commentary for the bout – then taking the microphone away, telling Bass to “Step off, mister”, and said that the woman who gets her evening gown taken off should be the winner, therefore Debra was the new champion (Sable’s last US TV appearance for nearly 4 years)
The Big Bossman pinned Test in a nightstick match at 7:03 after hitting Test in the face with the nightstick as Test attempted a sunset flip; moments prior to the finish, Bossman used a second nightstick when the referee wasn’t looking
Cactus Jack defeated Viscera & Mideon in a handicap hardcore match at 4:36 by pinning Viscera following an elbow off the apron to the floor with a chair; after the bout, Cactus threw Viscera into the steel steps
Bradshaw fought Farooq to a no contest in a lumberjack match at around the 2-minute mark when Viscera and Mideon entered the ring and tried to stop the bout, with Farooq and Bradshaw shoving them out of the way until the Big Bossman came out and cooled them down; moments later, Mankind, Test, Ken Shamrock, and the Big Show – who served as lumberjacks for the bout – entered the ring with 2x4s and, after the other Ministry members fled the ring, all four men beat down Viscera with the weapons
Pat Patterson & Gerald Brisco defeated Rodney & Pete Gas at 2:09 when Rodney submitted to Brisco’s figure-4 as Gas submitted to Patterson’s Boston Crab; Patterson & Brisco used “Real American” as their theme music; due to pre-match stipulations, Rodney & Gas were forced to leave the WWF; had Brisco & Patterson lost, they would have had to leave (The Best of Raw 15th Anniversary)

6/7/99 – included Vince McMahon coming out to open the show in which he cut an in-ring promo regarding the identity of the Higher Power – saying it was rumored to be perhaps Shawn Michaels, Jake Roberts, or a McMahon – and then challenged his son Shane to a no holds barred match with both men’s stake in the WWF being on the line; Shane then came out, accepted, and said he was not the Higher Power – despite Vince’s accusations – but that the Higher Power would be unveiled in a few moments by the Undertaker; after the commercial break, the Corporate Ministry (WWF World Champion the Undertaker, Paul Bearer, Triple H, Chyna, the Big Bossman, Mideon, Viscera, and WWF Tag Team Champions the Acolytes) came out to the ring with Taker introducing the Higher Power, who then came to the ring wearing a hood; after the Higher Power came out, Shane McMahon appeared on the stage to prove that it wasn’t him, then complimented the Higher Power before entering the ring; Shane then asked Vince to come out and witness the unveiling, with Vince appearing on the Titan Tron and asking the Higher Power to take off the hood, which he did – revealing himself to be Vince himself; Vince then cut a promo on Steve Austin, saying that this proves that there’s nothing he wouldn’t do to make Austin’s life a living hell; moments later, Linda & Stephanie McMahon came out on the stage to confront Vince about his deception, with Linda saying that it was a lie when Vince said he and Shane each owned 50% of the company – all four McMahons owned an equal amount of the company; she went on to say that some changes would be taking place at the office, saying the dress code would be more casual, and that profanity and alcohol would be allowed; finally, she said she had stepped down as CEO of the WWF but introduced Steve Austin as the new head of the company; Austin then came out, said that he would have a world title match whenever he wanted, and stated that at the King of the Ring he would face Vince & Shane McMahon in a handicap match; Austin went on to state that Shane would face X-Pac & Kane in a handicap match as a result of his actions the previous week and that Ken Shamrock, Test, and the Big Show would be allowed to face any opponent of their choosing, then wished a speedy recovery to Mankind; he went on to state that Triple H would battle the Rock in a cast match, with Triple H’s leg encased in a cast to match the Rock’s arm which was also in a cast; after the commercial break, Linda & Stephanie presented Austin with a briefcase full of beer to celebrate; featured Michael Cole conducting an in-ring interview with the Big Show, Ken Shamrock, and Test, in which Show said he wanted the Undertaker in a title match; Shamrock, angered that Vince McMahon used him, said he wanted Vince in a Lion’s Den match instead of his scheduled opponent Jeff Jarrett; Test then asked that Stephanie McMahon come out to the ring, which she did; he then got down on one knee and asked if she would go out on a date with him, with Stephanie accepting; included a G-TV segment with Terri, Ryan Shamrock, and Jackie backstage in which they trash talked Billy Gunn, Dustin Rhodes, and Val Venis:

8/30/99 – aired at 11pm EST; featured the Rock cutting an in-ring promo to open the show in which he discussed Shawn Michaels costing him the world title during the previous week’s Smackdown!; after calling out Triple H but getting no response, the Rock went backstage to find the champion and was eventually blindsided in the hallway by Triple H, Chyna, & Shane McMahon; eventually Mankind came out to make the save; moments later, Shane came out with the Mean Street Posse and said that both Rock and Mankind could get a title shot later in the show if they could win their respective matches, with Rock facing the Undertaker in a falls count anywhere match and Mankind facing all three members of the Mean Street Posse in a handicap match; included Michael Cole conducting a backstage interview with Al Snow, regarding the Big Bossman stealing Pepper the dog, in which it appeared as though two people were having sex behind the interview screen; featured WWF Hardcore Champion the Big Bossman asking Al Snow to come out to the ring, where he apologized to Snow for stealing Pepper and said that he will give the dog back to him at Smackdown! if Snow can come to his hotel room; included a health update on the Road Dogg, following his match with Chris Jericho on Raw, in which it announced Road Dogg has sustained a crushed disc in his back; featured the Rock cutting an in-ring promo after his loss to the Big Show in which Rock challenged Show & Taker to a handicap match later in the show; moments later, Mankind came out and offered to be Rock’s tag team partner; Rock accepted but warned Mankind to never steal his catchphrases again; as Rock made his way up the ramp, Meat & Terri came out, with Rock telling Terri off; once Meat & Terri got in the ring, a G-TV segment aired on the Titan Tron showing Meat making out with Marianna backstage; Terri responded by repeatedly slapping Meat; a brawl then took place with Marianna vs. Terri and Chaz vs. Meat; included Test asking both Gerald Brisco & Pat Patterson to be his best man for his wedding to Stephanie McMahon; featured Michael Cole conducting an in-ring interview with WWF Women’s Champion Ivory in which she repeatedly called Tori a slut; moments later, Tori came out and attacked Ivory, with Cole caught in-between; eventually, Luna and Jackie involved themselves in the brawl until officials pulled them apart:
Pete Gas, Joey Abs, & Rodney defeated Mankind via disqualification in a handicap match at 4:25 when, after laying out all three opponents and having Shane ignore the cover, Mankind applied the Mandible Claw on Shane; moments later, Mankind fought off an interfering Triple H and sent him to the floor; prior to the bout, Shane McMahon sent referee Teddy Long to the back as he himself would be the guest referee for the bout; after the match, Lilian Garcia mistakenly announced Mankind as the winner via DQ until Shane returned ringside and corrected her; pre-match stipulations stated that if Mankind was victorious, Mankind would earn a world title shot later in the show
WWF Tag Team Champion the Big Show (w/ Paul Bearer & WWF Tag Team Champion the Undertaker) (sub. for the Undertaker) pinned the Rock in a falls count anywhere match at 3:38 with one foot on his chest following a chokeslam through the commentary table; prior to the bout, Taker cut a promo in the ring saying that Rock had not earned the right to face him so Rock would wrestle the Big Show instead; Taker then did guest color commentary for the match; after the bout, Triple H came out and assaulted the Rock while he was still down on the floor but was eventually caught in a choke by Taker; moments later, Mankind came out to make the save for Rock but was also beaten down by Taker & Show; pre-match stipulations stated that if Rock was victorious, Rock would earn a world title shot later in the show

The Acolytes Matt & Jeff Hardy, Crash & Hardcore Holly, and Edge & Christian fought to a no contest at 1:04 in an elimination match when Viscera & Mideon, Albert & Droz, and Stevie Richards & the Blue Meanie interfered, with all 14 men brawling in and outside the ring; after the bout, a number of officials attempted to break the fights up; pre-match stipulations stated that the winners of the bout would be named #1 contenders to the tag team titles
WWF IC Champion Jeff Jarrett (w/ Debra & Miss Kitty) & WWF European Champion Mark Henry defeated D-Lo Brown & Billy Gunn at 3:37 when Jarrett pinned Gunn after Chyna, who did guest commentary for the bout, interfered and accidentally broke Jarrett’s guitar over Gunn’s head as she tried to hit Jarrett; during the bout, it was announced that Chyna would face Jarrett for the IC title at Unforgiven

10/18/99 – featured the Rock cutting an in-ring promo to open the broadcast in which he made mention of facing Triple H for the world title at the Survivor Series; moments later, Steve Austin interrupted and blamed Rock for his losing to Triple H the previous night at No Mercy; as the two men prepared to fight each other, Vince McMahon came to the ring and asked that Triple H come out to share his opinion as to who should be the #1 contender; after Triple H came out and ran down Vince, Rock, and Austin, McMahon ordered Triple H to defend the title against both Austin and the Rock at Survivor Series; included the Acolytes beating Curtis Hughes in a poker game and, as a result, winning Howard Finkel; featured an in-ring promo by the Big Bossman in which he insulted the Big Show and offered to put the Hardcore title on the line later in the show; included the Fabulous Moolah and Mae Young fighting backstage during an interview with Michael Cole after Mae said she wanted a shot at Moolah’s newly won Women’s title; featured footage of Mark Henry with his 4th sex therapist, an older woman who eventually threw herself on him; included Mankind giving Rock an autographed copy of Have a Nice Day; later in the show, Al Snow found the book in the trash can and told Mankind about it, angering Mankind that Rock would throw his book and his life in the trash; included an in-ring promo by the new WWF IC Champion Chyna, with Miss Kitty, in which Chris Jericho interrupted, said that seeing Chyna with the belt made him sick, and cited Ricky Steamboat, Randy Savage, Rick Rude, and the Mountie as former champions who brought credibility to the title; moments later, Chyna hit Jericho in the face with the title belt, knocking him off the ring apron and onto the commentary table; featured Michael Cole conducting an in-ring interview with Matt & Jeff Hardy regarding their ladder match win the previous night; moments later, Edge & Christian came out and congratulated the Hardyz for their victory; Gangrel and Terri soon followed, with Gangrel saying both teams should congratulate him before he was beaten down by the Hardyz and Edge & Christian:
