Slaughter) to a no contest; following Vince’s entrance, Shane McMahon came out to try to talk his father out of the match, without success; after the ring entrances, Vince took the mic and challenged Austin to wrestle the title match with one arm tied behind his back, since Austin noted earlier in the show that he could beat Vince in that situation; after Austin agreed to the stipulation, Brisco tied his arm up; several moments later, as Austin and McMahon finally squared off, Mick Foley then came out as Dude Love and said he wanted to bring peace; Dude then entered the ring and told Austin not to fight Vince since he signs Dude’s checks, then telling McMahon that Austin could take him out whenever he wanted; McMahon responded by shoving Dude to the mat, with Dude then going after McMahon with the Mandible Claw until Austin intervened, with Dude putting the Claw on Austin instead; Dude then danced as McMahon and his entourage left the ring, with Dude then further assaulting Austin; McMahon yelled at Dude, upset that he interrupted the match, and then attempted to enter the ring but was held back by Shane and the others; Dude then reapplied the Claw before taking the mic and challenging McMahon to a fight as well; moments later, Dude went out to the floor and brawled with Austin, his arm still tied, before ramming Austin into the guardrail and assaulting him on the announce table (McMahon’s in-ring debut) (4/13/98; Philadelphia, PA)

– WWF IC Champion the Rock defeated X-Pac (w/ Chyna) via disqualification at 9:43 when a second referee prevented the referee from counting the pinfall on the champion, informing the ref that Triple H had interfered moments earlier and hit the Pedigree on the Rock; before the match began, DX and the Nation brawled in the ring until referees broke up the fight; moments before the finish, D-Lo Brown came through the crowd to interfere but was crotched on the top rope by Triple H, who had followed him through the crowd; after the bout, DX won a second brawl with the Nation before Triple H had a girl in the audience flash the crowd; Shawn Michaels did guest commentary for the bout (7/14/98; Binghamton, NY)

– Chyna defeated Pat Patterson & Gerald Brisco in a handicap match at 6:01 by sitting on both men following DDTs; Brisco wore a Brisco Brothers Body Shop T-shirt for the match; during the bout, it was noted Patterson’s birthday was the following day; late in the contest, after blinding Chyna with powder to her eyes, Patterson fondled her breasts; the action was blurred on the screen (1/12/99; Beaumont, TX)
– WWF World Champion the Rock defeated Triple H (w/ Chyna) in an I Quit match at 9:12 when, as the challenger attempted to put Rock through the announce table with a Pedigree, the Big Bossman, Kane, WWF IC Champion Ken Shamrock, & Test came to the ring and held Chyna hostage, with Bossman taking the mic and threatening to have Kane drop Chyna with a chokeslam if Triple H didn’t quit; Triple H then quickly threw the match before tending to Chyna in the ring; moments later, he faced off against Kane before Chyna hit Triple H with a low blow and shoved him to the mat; Kane, Bossman, Test, and Shamrock then came back in the ring with Kane dropping Triple H with a chokeslam as Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, Pat Patterson, and Gerald Brisco came out, with Vince and Shane hugging Chyna (1/25/99; Phoenix, AZ; America West Arena)

– Test fought Davey Boy Smith to a no contest in a steel cage match at around the 4-minute mark; late in the match, the Mean Street Posse came through the crowd and broke into the cage after Test hit an elbowdrop off the top of the cage; in the melee, the Smith escaped through the door, although the bell never rung nor was any decision announced; Shane McMahon made the save for Test by leaping off the top of the cage onto the Posse; after Test came to Shane’s aid moments later, Stephanie McMahon came to the ring to tend to and celebrate with her brother and fiancee (10/25/99; Providence, RI)
– Kane fought Goldust to a no contest when, before the bout began, Goldust shot his opponent in the face with a pyro gun, then taking off his costume to reveal himself as Triple H; during Kane’s entrance, it was noted he would face Triple H and that Goldust would face WWF IC Champion the Road Dogg, Ken Shamrock, and Val Venis at WrestleMania; after the incident, Triple H continued to pound away at a blinded Kane until referees swarmed the ring; moments later, as Tony Garea attempted to tend to Kane, Triple H gave Kane several crotch chops and left the ring (3/22/99; Albany, NY)

– WWF World Champion Shawn Michaels defeated Mankind (w/ Paul Bearer) via disqualification at 26:20 when Vader interfered as Michaels had the challenger covered; moments thereafter, Michaels sent Vader to the floor where Psycho Sid came out and brawled with Vader to the backstage area; Michaels was soon knocked out after being hit by Paul Bearer with the urn and later sustained the Mandible Claw from Mankind; the Undertaker then came out of Mankind’s casket, which was brought ringside before the match, and stalked Mankind backstage (In Your House “Mindgames” – 9/22/96; Philadelphia Spectrum)
– Steve Austin defeated Mankind (w/ Paul Beareer) (sub. for an injured Vader) via disqualification in a no holds barred match at 7:08 when Bearer went backstage to send the Executioner out to make the save for Mankind; prior to the match, footage was shown of Yokozuna injuring Vader the previous night during the Survivor Series, with the announce team saying Vader would be out of action for a few days; early in the contest, the fight remained outside the ring, prompting Jerry Brisco, Pat Patterson, Tony Garea, referees, and others to come out and send it to the ring; during the match, it was noted Bret Hart would be in action the following week; after the bout, the Undertaker came to the ring and sent Mankind and the Executioner to the floor before being sent to the floor himself by Austin following a clothesline (11/18/96; New Haven, CT)
– Mankind pinned WWF World Champion the Rock to win the title in an empty arena match at 17:19 by using a forklift to trap the champion underneath a wooden palette; Mankind’s head was heavily taped following the I Quit match at the Royal Rumble; prior to the bout, the champion was escorted ringside by Vince McMahon, who then provided sole commentary from the ringside commentary table; during the bout, Kevin Kelly & Shane McMahon would occasionally comment from inside a packed arena (Halftime Heat – 1/26/99; Tucson, AZ)
– WWF World Champion Steve Austin pinned Dude Love at 22:27 with the Stunner; mid-way through the bout, guest referee Vince McMahon had the match turned into a No DQ contest and later on added a falls count anywhere stipulation; late in the contest, McMahon was knocked out by an accidental chair shot from the challenger; as Pat Patterson, the guest ring announcer for the bout, attempted to make the count for Dude he was pulled out of the ring and chokeslammed through one of the commentary tables by the surprise guest ring enforcer – the Undertaker; moments later as Gerald Brisco, the guest time keeper, attempted to do the same, he was put through the second commentary table by Taker; Austin then grabbed the unconscious McMahon’s hand and slapped it to the mat three times to give himself the win (Over the Edge 98 – 5/31/98; Milwaukee, WI)

– WWF World Champion Steve Austin pinned WWF Tag Team Champion Chris Jericho at 10:59 with the Stunner; moments prior to the finish, William Regal came ringside and pulled surprise guest ringside enforcer Mick Foley out of the ring as Jericho had the champion caught in the Walls of Jericho; in the ensuing brawl on the floor, Foley accidentally hit Jericho with a steel chair blow to the head as he attempted to attack Regal; Vince McMahon was banned from ringside for the duration of the bout; after the match, Foley brought Regal into the ring where he was put in Jericho’s Walls of Jericho while at the same time sustaining the Mr. Socko Mandible Claw from Foley (6/4/01; Minneapolis, MN)

– Steve Austin fought WWF World Champion Kurt Angle to a no contest at around 12:20 when Triple H came ringside, pulled referee Earl Hebner out of the ring as Austin had Angle covered with the Stunner, led Hebner around the ring by his hair, and ultimately knocked him out with a punch; after the bout, Austin threw Angle to the floor and invited Triple H into the ring; after battling in the ring and at ringside, Triple H busted Austin open with a series of blows with a steel pipe, finally laying Austin across the announce table and posing on top of Austin’s motionless body as the show came to a close (1/8/01; San Jose, CA)

– WWF Tag Team Champions the Dudley Boyz & Spike Dudley defeated Edge, Christian, & Rhyno via disqualification at 5:54 when Edge hit Bubba Ray in hte back with a steel chair as the remaining participants battled on the floor; after the bout, Spike fought off Edge and Christian before being Gored by Rhyno through a table set up against the corner (3/20/01; Providence, RI)
– The Rock defeated WWF World Champion Steve Austin (w/ Vince McMahon) via disqualification in a steel cage match at around the 6-minute mark when McMahon entered the cage and knocked out referee Tim White with a double axe handle after the challenger hit the Rock Bottom; moments prior to the finish, McMahon pulled the referee out of the cage to prevent him from counting the pin as Rock had Austin covered with the People’s Elbow; the referee responded by shoving McMahon to the floor; after the match, Triple H entered the cage with a sledgehammer, teased a face turn, but eventually helped in triple teaming the Rock; prior to the bout, McMahon did the ring introduction for the champion; as the show came to a close, the Rock was beaten bloody while Triple H, Austin, and McMahon shared a few beers (Rock’s last match until July) (4/2/01; Ft. – WWF European Champion Shawn Michaels pinned the Undertaker at 29:56 in a non-title Hell in a Cell match after Paul Bearer and Kane came ringside, Kane ripped the door off the cage, and hit the tombstone on the Undertaker before leaving ringside; Michaels was escorted to the ring by Triple H, Chyna, and Rick Rude but all three returned backstage after the cage door was locked shut; midway through the contest, the door had to be unlocked in order to get an injured cameraman to safety (a local indy wrestler) – resulting in the two participants having a lengthy brawl outside and on top of the cage; after the contest, Triple H and Chyna helped Michaels backstage; due to prematch stipulations, Michaels earned a world title shot for the Survivor Series (the 1st ever HIAC; Kane’s debut) (Badd Blood – 10/5/97; St. Louis, MO; Kiel Center)

– Matt & Jeff Hardy (w/ Michael Hayes) defeated WWF Tag Team Champions the Acolytes to win the titles at 4:25 when Matt pinned Bradshaw with a tornado DDT after Jeff used Michael Hayes’ cane as a weapon; Bradshaw wrestled without medical clearance after being tombstoned onto the steel ring steps by Kane on Sunday Night Heat; prior to their entrance, Bradshaw knocked down a medic who tried to stop him from participating in the match; after the match, the new champions and Hayes celebrated at the entrance stage (6/29/99; Fayetteville, NC)
