– Lita pinned Candice Michelle at the 28-second mark after Edge, who Lita chose before the match to be the guest referee, speared Candice; after the bout, WWE World Champion John Cena ran into the ring and scared Edge and Lita to the floor; the power came back on during the commercial break; after the break, Cena cut an in-ring promo until he was interrupted by Edge & Lita on the stage; Cena then insulted Lita when she claimed to be a better wrestler than him and said he could beat her with one arm tied behind his back; Cena then challenged Edge to use his title rematch clause then and there but Edge backed out and instead said he would accept the challenge on Lita’s behalf to face Cena later in the night with one of Cena’s arms tied behind his back 10/2/06; Topeka, KS; Landon Arena

– Mickie James pinned Victoria at 2:51 with a sunset flip after referee Jack Doane caught Victoria trying to hold onto the ring ropes for leverage; prior to the bout, Lilian Garcia announced that per orders from DX, both women would compete wearing lingerie; after the match, Victoria threw a steel chair down in anger at ringside 10/9/06; Columbia, SC; Colonial Center

– Lita pinned Mickie James in a lumberjill match to win the title at 8:09 with a kick to the midsection and the DDT after Mickie knocked down Victoria and Melina on the floor; lumberjills for the match included Torrie Wilson, Jillian Hall, Kristal, Kelly Kelly, Brooke, Melina, Victoria, Candice Michelle, Michelle McCool, Leyla, Ashley, Ariel, and Trinity; the lumberjill stipulation won 46% of the vote, beating a No DQ match, at 40%, and a submission match, at 14%
