Jones, and Jordin Sparks; included a video package recapping the history between Punk and Ryback; Jon Gruden was shown in attendance; featured a “Did you know?” graphic ranking top WWE stars on Twitter: The Rock: 3.8 million, Cena: 3.2 million, Orton: 1.7 million, Punk: 1.4 million, and Miz: 878,000; included Striker conducting a backstage interview with Punk, alongside Heyman, regarding his match, with Punk saying he had nothing to do with Maddox and didn’t know the Shield; Punk then said he would speak about the Rock in the ring and “drop another pipe bomb;” featured a backstage segment with WWE Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan & Kane in which they argued as to who was at fault for losing their match earlier in the show; moments later, Vickie Guerrero intervened and said they would get their 4-month evaluation the next week by Dr. Shelby; included the announcement Alberto Del Rio would face World Heavyweight Champion the Big Show on Smackdown; featured a closing in-ring segment in which Punk, alongside Heyman, came out and discussed the “cashing in” on his rebel outlaw personal that he created and the glass ceiling in the WWE; Punk then discussed how Cena gets title shots after constantly losing, Bryan having to smile and do catchphrases, Brodus Clay having to touch the fans while dancing in the ring, and Little Jimmy getting better position on Raw than Tyson Kidd; Punk then said he had become the most successful world champion of all time and said Bruno Sammartino and Hulk Hogan had it easy; he went on to say that Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, and Edge all say they did what they did for the fans, while Punk didn’t care about the fans and said if the superstars were really looking out for the fans then why didn’t they come out and share their millions of dollars with the fans; a crew member then told Punk the show had to go to break, with Punk saying they would do so when he wanted them to and pointed around the arena to tell the fans they didn’t matter; following the commercial break, Punk talked about the names he had beaten in 2012 and said he was also beating the fans at each turn; moments later, Rock came out, said the fans rejected Punk, he was delusional, and couldn’t make good on his promises to the fans; Rock then led the crowd in chanting “Cookie Puss” at Punk and said he was back to see the fans, beat Punk, and win back the title after 10 years; moments later, Rock told Punk not to tell the fans they didn’t matter and it was Punk himself that didn’t matter; when Punk cut him off, Rock said “It doesn’t matter if you matter” and that he would take the belt; Punk responded by saying he was the best Rock will have been in the ring with and he would kick his ass, despite his “kid games;” Rock then told Punk to get new tattoos of M&Ms and Snickers on his butt so he would have a lifetime reminder of how Rock kicked his candy ass at the Rumble, then dropping Punk with the Rock Bottom to close the show; included a closing ad promoting Rock being on Smackdown on Friday:
John Cena pinned Dolph Ziggler in an impromptu match with the FU at 16:04; prior to the bout, AJ & Big E Langston escorted Ziggler to the ring but were ejected at the 10-minute mark for interfering on the floor; during the bout, there were dueling chants of “Let’s go, Cena” and “Cena sucks;” during the final moments of the match, while the referee was knocked down, Langston ran out and attacked Cena before escaping through the crowd Kaitlyn defeated WWE Divas Champion Eve via count-out at 4:39 when Eve escaped into the crowd
Cody Rhodes & Damien Sandow defeated WWE Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan & Kane in a non-title match at 7:13 when Rhodes pinned Bryan with Crossroads; prior to the bout, it was announced tickets for the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame at Madison Square Garden would go on sale Saturday Randy Orton pinned Heath Slater (w/ Jinder Mahal & Drew McIntyre) with the RKO at 4:28; prior to the bout, it was announced tickets would be on sale for the Royal Rumble Fanfest; after the contest, Mahal and McIntyre attacked Orton but also sustained the RKO
WWE IC Champion Wade Barrett pinned Santino Marella (w/ Ricky Steamboat) at 2:22 in a non-title match with the Bull Hammer; after the bout, Barrett appeared to attack Steamboat but then left the ring when Steamboat removed his jacket
WWE US Champion Antonio Cesaro pinned the Great Khali (w/ Natalya Neidhart & Hornswoggle) in a non-title match at 3:24 with the Neutralizer after a springboard European uppercut from the middle rope; Mike Mizanin provided guest commentary for the bout
Sheamus pinned Jinder Mahal (w/ Heath Slater & Drew McIntyre) at 5:45 with the boot to the face; throughout the match, Sheamus also assaulted Slater and McIntyre
WWE World Champion CM Punk (w/ Paul Heyman) defeated Ryback in a TLC match at 18:52; during his entrance, Punk made it a point to walk underneath a ladder on his way to the ring; at the 16-minute mark, Ryback climbed the ladder only for the lights to go out; when they came back on, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, & Roman Reigns appeared in the ring and attacked Ryback; moments later, they dropped Ryback with a triple powerbomb through a table set up on the floor, and onto the steel steps underneath (The Best of Raw & Smackdown 2013)
World Heavyweight Champion the Big Show pinned Kofi Kingston in a non-title match at the 24-second mark with the punch to the face

1/14/13 – 20th anniversary episode; featured an opening montage with all the past Raw openings; included Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, & John Bradshaw Layfield on commentary; featured an in-ring address by Vince McMahon in which he said more than 4 billion viewers had seen Raw since its inception; McMahon then said Dolph Ziggler would face John Cena in a steel cage match and the Rock would be in concert; moments later, the Big Show interrupted and said his was robbed of the World Heavyweight Title on Smackdown; after McMahon joked about Show losing weight by losing the title, he showed footage of how Alberto Del Rio won the title from Show days earlier; Show then said Booker T was jealous of him and McMahon should strip ADR of the title; ADR and Ricardo Rodriguez then interrupted with ADR challenging Show to a title rematch later in the program, with Show refusing and saying he wasn’t prepared just like he wasn’t prepared for their match on Smackdown; Show then said Houston wasn’t a fitting place to regain his title and instead challenged ADR to a match at the Royal Rumble; ADR then called Show a “fat jackass” in Spanish and Rodriguez doused Show with confetti; ADR then fought off Show and knocked him to the floor; included footage of Chris Jericho and Bob Barker’s altercation at the 9/7/09 Raw; featured a “Did you know?” graphic that read when Raw debuted in 1993, Kofi Kingston was 11 years old, Cody Rhodes was 7, and AJ was 5; Sandow & Rhodes eventually insulted Dr. Shelby for not doing what he was doing, with Shelby going into a rage and telling Bryan & Kane to attack Sandow & Rhodes, with the three then chanting “Yes!”; included an ad promoting the new start time of 10:30 a.m. for Saturday Morning Slam; featured Justin Roberts introducing Mick Foley as the first inductee into the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame, with Foley then coming out and taking the mic; moments later, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, & Roman Reigns came through the crowd; as they surrounded him in the ring, Ryback ran out to make the save but was beaten down as well; Randy Orton then ran out but was also attacked, leading to Sheamus coming out; Ambrose was eventually left alone in the ring where he sustained Shellshocked and was pulled to the floor by Rollins and Reigns; moments later, Josh Matthews conducted an in-ring interview with Ryback about the Shield; included a video package on the various characters and gimmicks from Raw’s past; featured Matthews conducting a backstage interview with Brodus Clay about the comments made about him the previous week by WWE World Champion CM Punk, with Clay saying Punk should leave his name out of his comments; included a “Did you know?” graphic which read Raw has aired more original episodes than Survivor, The Amazing Race, and American Idol, combined; featured a video segment on the 3/12/07 contract signing between McMahon and Donald Trump for their hair vs. hair match at WrestleMania; as Miz prompted Flair to give his own catchphrase, WWE US Champion Antonio Cesaro came out with an American flag and insulted both for being failures; Miz then challenged him but Cesaro went to leave the ring, with Flair landing a chop, Miz dropping Cesaro with the Skull Crushing Finale, and then allowing Miz to apply the figure-4 on Cesaro; moments later, Flair dropped an elbow on his own jacket as Miz kicked Cesaro from the ring; included a video package on the 1/19/98 Raw in which McMahon introduced Mike Tyson, leading to an altercation with Steve Austin; featured footage from WWE Active of Eve quitting WWE during an interview with Matt Striker; included a “Did you know?” graphic which read Raw has been viewed more than 4 billion times in the US alone during the past 20 years; featured the announcement ADR would have a championship party on Smackdown; included a backstage segment with AJ and Big E Langston in which AJ discussed WWE weddings during Raw and showed clips of the Edge / Lita wedding, interrupted by Kane, the Triple H / Stephanie McMahon wedding, in which Triple H broke up with her, and then when AJ walked out on Bryan to become the new Raw GM; AJ then began to cry over losing her GM role and blamed it on Cena, with Ziggler walking in and saying he had been preparing his entire life to prove how good he was later in the night in their steel cage match; Kaitlyn pinned WWE Divas Champion Eve with a spear to win the title at 5:27; stipulations stated that Eve would lose the title were she disqualified or counted out (Eve’s last appearance)
WWE World Champion CM Punk (w/ Paul Heyman) defeated Brodus Clay (w/ Cameron & Naomi) in a non-title match at 3:41 with the Anaconda Vice after the flying elbowsmash; after the match, Punk took the mic, noted he made a 400lb. monster tap out, he was the world champion, and had held the title more than 400 days; Punk then said Rock would come out later and try to entertain but the fact remained that he would not leave the Royal Rumble with the belt
Heath Slater won a 4-man battle royal by last eliminating Sheamus at 3:14; Jinder Mahal was eliminated (2:26); Drew McIntyre by Sheamus via a backdrop (2:35); Sheamus by Mahal & McIntyre as Sheamus tried to drag Slater over the top rope; after the match, Slater, Mahal, & McIntyre celebrated before Sheamus assaulted all of them, ending by hitting the boot to the face on Slater as Slater was on McIntyre’s shoulders
WWE Tag Team Champion Daniel Bryan (w/ WWE Tag Team Champion Kane) defeated Cody Rhodes (w/ Damien Sandow) via submission with the No Lock at 1:16
John Cena pinned Dolph Ziggler (w/ AJ & Big E Langston) in a steel cage match with the FU at 16:26 after Ziggler accidentally hit an interfering Langston with his Money in the Bank briefcase, as AJ scaled the cage and distracted the referee; Jim Ross provided guest commentary for the match, subbing for John Bradshaw Layfield; during the bout, there were dueling chants of “Let’s go, Cena” and “Cena sucks”

1/21/13 – featured an opening video package in tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. Day; included an opening segment in which Vickie Guerrero came out, arm in arm with Paul Heyman, and said she would always do the right thing for Raw; Heyman then spoke against the Rock’s comments against both himself and Guerrero the previous week; he then said Rock would answer for his comments against WWE World Champion CM Punk when the two meet at the Royal Rumble; Vickie said she had banned the Rock from entering the building and he would be arrested if he showed up; moments later, a technical attendant informed Vickie that the Rock had arrived; the big screen then showed Rock standing beside several police officers inside the parking lot, with Rock telling the police to arrest Punk for having an “imaginary nutsack,” Heyman for not wearing a bra, and ask Vickie whether she had her head up her ass; Vickie then threatened to have Rock arrested; featured a video tribute to Mick Foley being inducted into the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame, to the tune of Needtobreathe’s “Keep Your Eyes Open;” included a video by Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, & Roman Reigns in which they talked about their attacks on Mike Mizanin, Randy Orton, and Sheamus; Ryback pinned Heath Slater (w/ Jinder Mahal & Drew McIntyre) with Shellshocked at 1:21; after the bout, Ryback took the mic and said he would win the Royal Rumble to earn a WWE World Title match at WrestleMania
Beat the Clock: Dolph Ziggler (w/ AJ & Big E Langston) pinned Mike Mizanin with the Zig Zag at 10:56 after Langston distracted Miz from the floor; during the bout, there were chants of “Let’s go, Ziggler”
WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn pinned Alicia Fox in a non-title match with the spear at 2:06; during the match, Tamina was shown watching on backstage
Beat the Clock: Sheamus fought WWE IC Champion Wade Barrett to a no contest in a non-title match at 10:56 when the time ran out; during the bout, Dolph Ziggler, AJ, & Big E Langston were shown watching on backstage; late in the match, Sheamus set up Barrett for the boot to the face, with Ziggler, AJ, & Langston coming out and AJ distracting Sheamus; Sheamus hit the boot to the face just before the time expired
World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio pinned Tensai in a non-title match with a moonsault from the middle turnbuckle at 1:31; Sergio Romo of the San Francisco 49’ers was shown in attendance; Ricardo Rodriguez served as ADR’s ring announcer for the match; after the contest, ADR counted in 10 in Spanish to represent what would happen to the Big Show at the Royal Rumble

1/28/13; Raw Roulette – included Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, & John Bradshaw Layfield; featured an opening backstage segment in which Vickie Guerrero introduced the fans to the Raw Roulette wheels, announced Randy Orton would face WWE US Champion Antonio Cesaro, and then spun the wheel with it landing on guest referee stipulation; featured an in-ring promo by CM Punk, alongside Paul Heyman, in which he claimed he beat the Rock and should still have the WWE World Title; Punk then said Vince McMahon screwed him worst than he did Bret Hart in Montreal and said the match would be forever known as the Phoenix Screwjob; moments later, McMahon walked out to the entrance stage and said he had video proof that Punk was part of a scheme involving the Shield and he would give Heyman a performance review later in the show, with his job on the line; included a backstage segment in which Ryback was shown spinning the wheel and it landed on “Make me laugh,” with Vickie then telling Ryback to go out and make her laugh; Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf were shown in attendance; Rob Van Dam pinned World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio in a non-title match with a leg roll up at 6:15 after ADR hit his head on his own pail, set up in the corner by Ricardo Rodriguez; Mike Mizanin provided guest commentary for the match; during the bout, Christian was shown watching on backstage; Rodriguez served as ADR’s ring announcer for the contest; after the bout, Rodriguez apologized for the mistake before ADR attacked him and hit him in the head repeatedly with the pail; moments later, ADR put Ricardo’s head between the ring steps and ringpost and kicked the steps; Rodriguez was later tended to in the ring (Rodriguez’s return after a month absence) Mark Henry defeated Ryback via count-out at 1:47 when Ryback walked out of the match
Luke Harper & Erick Rowan (w/ Bray Wyatt) defeated Brodus Clay & Tensai (w/ Cameron & Naomi) at 1:19 when Rowan pinned Tensai; after the match, Clay was held up for Wyatt to hit the Sister Abigail; moments later, Wyatt took the mic while kneeling over Clay and sent a message to Kane; Kane then appeared on the big screen and said Wyatt would find out at Summer Slam why he was the devil’s favorite demon; Kane then said Wyatt’s family could not help him from a ring of fire, with the ringpost pyro going off as Wyatt laughed

CM Punk defeated WWE IC Champion Curtis Axel (w/ Paul Heyman) via disqualification in a non-title match at 10:23 when Punk grabbed Heyman and dragged him into the ring; the two fought in the aisle for several moments before the match began, with Heyman not reappearing until mid-way through the bout; after the match, Brock Lesnar appeared, with Punk hitting the Go To Sleep to Axel outside the ring before sending Lesnar into the ringpost, kicking him in the head, and hitting a clothesline off the commentary table; Lesnar fought off Punk momentarily before Punk attacked him in the ring and cornered Heyman with a steel chair; Lesnar then dropped Punk with the F5 and repeatedly hit him across the back with the chair

WWE World Champion John Cena, Daniel Bryan, & Randy Orton defeated WWE US Champion Dean Ambrose, WWE Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns via disqualification at 5:23 when Ambrose and Reigns attacked Bryan as Rollins was caught in the Yes Lock; after the match, Orton dropped Bryan with the RKO before Cena and Orton had to team up to clear the ring of the Shield; Cena’s left forearm was heavily taped for the match; after the Shield left ringside, Orton dropped Cena with the RKO and acted as though he would cash in his Money in the Bank title shot; moments later, the Shield returned to the ring, with Reigns hitting a spear on Cena as Orton walked away from the ring; Bryan then sustained the triple powerbomb as Orton watched from the entrance stage

8/19/13 – featured an opening in-ring promo by John Cena in which he said he was disgusted by what happend at Summer Slam, with the crowd chanting “Cena sucks;” Cena then thanked Daniel Bryan for bringing out the best in him; Cena said he wanted to wrestle Bryan despite his injured elbow, which he held up, and said he was told to cancel the match at Summer Slam but he refused; he said he wasn’t using it as an excuse because he was beaten fairly, adding he was offended by what happened following the match; Cena said he couldn’t put off his surgery any longer and would have to take 4 to 6 months off, then introduced Bryan as a man who he said had proven the right to be called champion; moments later, before Bryan could speak, Stephanie McMahon walked out to the ring and apologized for what happened to Bryan, saying Triple H was only doing what he thought was best for business; Bryan responded by calling Stephanie trash, then said he was not afraid of being fired but would get his monies worth by going after Triple H and WWE World Champion Randy Orton first; Stephanie said the WWE loved Bryan and while he wasn’t an A, he was a B+; Bryan responded by saying he could be WWE Champion and didn’t care what Stephanie thought, then knocked the mic out of her hand when she tried to respond; taking another mic, she said she refused to be intimidated by him and he was being unprofessional, then calling for security to come out to the ring and told them to escort Bryan from the building; following the break, Punk sat in a chair in the ring waiting as Axel returned ringside; the two brawled in and out of the ring before Punk hit a running knee to Axel, in the timekeeper’s area, and followed by hitting him with the ring bell; Heyman, his arm in a sling, then watched from the entrance stage as Axel targetted Punk’s injured leg and hit him with the chair; Axel failed an attempt at stomping on the chair, wrapped around Punk’s ankle, with Punk then using the chair to clear Axel from the ring; moments later, Punk hit Axel with the Go To Sleep onto the ring steps; Punk then stared at Heyman, who slowly walked backwards up the ramp watching Punk; featured a WWE ’14 ad featuring the Rock; included a vignette promoting Los Matadores; featured a closing segment with Vince McMahon, Stephanie, and Triple H, with the Shield surrounding the ring as security and the entire roster standing at the entrance stage; Vince congratulated Triple H on making the right decision, with Triple H taking the mic and saying he did what he did for everyone on the roster, for Vince’s grandfather, father, himself, Stephanie, his children, and the fans to ensure the WWE will continue to exist; Triple H said he considered Bryan to be a friend and said he deserved to beat Cena, but he wasn’t the face of the WWE; Triple H said the fans deserved A+, not Bryan, and he was personally hurt by what he had to do to Bryan, and for Orton, but he had to do it for what was right for the fans; he said Bryan, like himself, had to check his ego at the door and understand it’s not about him, it’s what’s good for business; Triple H then introduced Orton, who entered the ring, shook Vince and Triple H’s hand and hugged Stephanie; Orton thanked Triple H, saying he owed all of it to him, and told the fans to show Triple H the respect he deserved; Triple H then said he knew Bryan was in the building and offered to let him come to the ring to get past his frustration, then asking the Shield to step aside so as not to intimidate Bryan; he said if anyone touched Bryan at the entrance stage, there would be problems and again asked Bryan to come out; Bryan eventually came out from backstage, with the Shield jumping him before he fought them all off in the aisle; Reigns then took Bryan down with a spear, with Rollins and Ambrose triple teaming him at ringside; Triple H then called for Bryan to get in the ring and say what he needed to say, with Bryan dragging himself up and into the ring only to sustain a RKO from Orton; Vince, Triple H, Stephanie, and Orton then held up their arms as the show ended:

CM Punk pinned WWE IC Champion Curtis Axel in a non-title match at 10:54 with the Go To Sleep; stipulations stated Punk would get 5 minutes in the ring with Paul Heyman if he won; Heyman stood at the entrance stage for the duration of the contest; prior to the bout, the results of a WWE app poll were revealed, with fans picking the stipulation at 81%, over banned from ringside at 12%, and guest referee at 7%; after the match, Heyman went to go backstage but was stopped by referees; Heyman did it a second time and was dragged out by security, with Punk throwing Heyman in the ring and cornering him before Axel hit a low blow from behind; moments later, Axel handcuffed Punk’s hands behind his back before Heyman slapped Punk and said he was nothing without him; Punk fought back until Axel struck him from behind with a chair and then let Heyman beat him with a kendo stick pulled out from under the ring; Heyman and Axel continued their assault on the floor, with Heyman screaming “I loved you!” before referees forced them away; following the commercial break, footage was shown of the open wounds sustained to Punk’s back

Rob Van Dam (w/ Ricardo Rodriguez) pinned World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio in a non-title match with a leg roll up at 8:27 after ADR became distracted by Rodriguez on the commentary table; prior to the bout, Rodriguez served as RVD’s ring announcer, then took off his tuxedo to reveal a RVD shirt underneath; Mexican flags were positioned at the ringposts for the match; during the contest, it was announced by Brad Maddox that RVD would challenge ADR for the title at Night of Champions if he won the bout
WWE World Champion Randy Orton pinned Christian in a non-title match at 16:03 with an eye poke and RKO; after the match, Daniel Bryan appeared on the big screen and questioned whether beating Orton at Night of Champions would make him the face of the WWE, then moving aside and showing how he spraypainted “Yes” all over Orton’s new Cadillac Escalade; following the commercial break, Orton, Triple H, and Brad Maddox looked at the vehicle, with Maddox noting the fans and roster were making fun of what happened; Triple H responded by saying he bought the vehicle, then telling Maddox to find everyone in the locker room and have them stand at the stage and watch what happens to Daniel Bryan later in the show; he then added anyone who interfered would be fired

Daniel Bryan defeated WWE US Champion Dean Ambrose, WWE Tag Team Champion Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns in a gauntlet match at around the 13-minute mark; Bryan pinned Rollins with a running knee to the head at 11:59; Ambrose was disqualified at 12:32 when Reigns attacked Bryan as Ambrose was in the Yes Lock; Reigns was disqualified when all three men attacked Bryan as Reigns was in the Yes Lock; prior to the bout, Renee Young conducted an interview with the Big Show and Dolph Ziggler at the entrance stage about their gauntlet matches the previous week, with the two opting not to speak; she then spoke with Mike Mizanin, who also opted not to comment about Triple H’s actions; the entire roster stood at the entrance stage for the match, with the stipulation that if anyone interfered they would be fired; after the contest, Triple H walked out, stared at several of the wrestlers, and Bryan sustained the triple powerbomb; moments later, WWE World Champion Randy Orton came out and dropped Bryan with the RKO; Orton then walked up the ramp and held up the title belt as the Shield stood above Bryan’s body in the ring

9/2/13 – featured an opening in-ring segment in which Triple H, surrounded by WWE US Champion Dean Ambrose, WWE Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns, introduced WWE World Champion Randy Orton; Orton then said disrespecting him was disrespecting the company and showed footage of Orton and the Shield assaulting Daniel Bryan in the past week; moments later, Orton asked whether Bryan should get a world title shot at Night of Champions, whether he could beat Orton, and whether Bryan should give up his title shot – answering no and yes, respectively, to the questions; Triple H then said it was his responsibility to look out for the health of his superstars and said the fans were enabling Bryan to do more than he should; after Triple H said everyone loved Doink the Clown but Doink being WWE World Champion would have been bad for business, he suggested bringing back the Cruiserweight or European titles for Bryan to compete for; Bryan then interrupted, said Doink never had loud chants for him in 1992, and if he gave up his title shot it would be like Triple H giving up his manhood by cutting his hair and becoming a corporate sell out; Bryan then said Orton was given everything while he himself had to fight against the negativity, then adding he knew he could beat Orton for the title; he went on to say Orton and Triple H knew he could beat Orton for the title and that’s why he keeps getting put in gauntlet matches, adding Orton may have the genetics of a champion but didn’t have the heart; Triple H said Bryan’s anger should be with the Big Show, who could only stand by as Bryan was beaten down each week, and said Bryan would face Show in the main event; following the commercial break, Triple H and Orton joked about making the main event before Cody Rhodes appeared, said he was looking forward to the main event, but said Orton vs. Bryan was best for business;
