6/20/12 – Season 6 premiere; featured an opening narration from William Regal; moments later, Jim Ross was introduced; Ross then took the mic and brought out Dusty Rhodes as the interim NXT GM; the two then talked at the entrance stage, with Rhodes saying Tyson Kidd would face Michael McGillicutty later in the night; included a vignette introducing Bo Dallas, who discussed his being part of the Windham-Rotundo family; featured a “Raw 1,000” segment in which Jerry Lawler discussed the debut of Mr. Socko on 10/5/98; included Ross & Regal on commentary; featured a vignette promoting the following week’s debut of Seth Rollins; included a vignette on Antonio Cesaro and promoting his appearance the following week; featured a vignette introducing Kenneth Cameron & Conor O’Brien as the team called Ascension; included a vignette on Bray Wyatt in which he was shown preaching in a small town, saying monsters are real and so was he; featured a backstage segment in which Derrick Bateman walked into the men’s room looking for Johnny Curtis, with the two then discussing their main event match the following week before Curtis washed his hands on Bateman’s shirt and walked off; included a backstage pretaped segment in which Daniel Bryan urged the fans at home not to attempt what they see on WWE TV:
Bo Dallas pinned Rick Victor with a spear at 2:19; after the bout, ? conducted an interview with Dallas at the entrance stage about opening up the new season of NXT with a victory
Damien Sandow fought Jason Jordan to a no contest; following his entrance, Sandow took the mic, asked the crowd to be quiet, and said he had been pitted against an unworthy opponent; Sandow then said he wouldn’t demean himself by facing Jordan and he was looking out for the benefit of the fans
Kenneth Cameron & Conor O’Brien defeated Mike Dalton & CJ Parker at 1:16 when O’Brien pinned Parker with the Downcast double team
Tyson Kidd defeated Michael McGillicutty via submission with the Dungeon Lock at around the 16-minute mark
