– Kane fought Zack Ryder to a no contest in a falls count anywhere match at around the 12-minute mark when, after Kane dropped Ryder with a chokeslam through the stage and then stalked Eve, John Cena appeared at the entrance and scared Kane off; Ryder’s ribs were heavily taped for the bout; stipulations stated Cena couldn’t interfere in the match or Ryder would never get a WWE US Title rematch; after the bout, Ryder was placed on a backboard and in a neckbrace; following the commercial break, Ryder was taken backstage on a stretcher and placed into the back of an ambulance; Cena then said he would take care of it, with Eve blaming Cena, telling him it was all his fault, and she was riding in the ambulance with Ryder; Josh Matthews then interviewed Cena about what just happened, with Cena glaring at him and slapping the mic out of his hand; Cena then glared at the cameraman as the show went to commercial; Dean Malenko appeared on camera while Ryder was helped backstage; the segment of the stage was roped off for the remainder of the show (1/23/12; Phoenix, AZ)

– Randy Orton, Sheamus, & the Big Show defeated World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan (w/ AJ), WWE IC Champion Cody Rhodes, & Mike Mizanin at around the 13-minute mark when Orton pinned Miz with the RKO; late in the match, Show chased Rhodes backstage; after the bout, Kane dragged Orton to the floor, with the two brawling at ringside and into the crowd (3/6/12; Uncasville, CT)
– WWE US Champion Santino Marella defeated Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger at 6:52 by pinning Swagger with the Cobra after the challenger missed a charge into the corner; prior to the bout, Vickie Guerrero introduced both challengers from the entrance stage and then supported them at ringside during the bout; after the contest, Marella was double teamed before he walked up the stage, with Brodus Clay walking out and standing side by side with Marella; Ziggler then ran after Clay only to sustain a headbutt that sent him reeling down the ramp; moments later, Santino, Brodus, Naomi, and Cameron danced at the entrance stage (4/2/12; Miami, FL)

– R-Truth & Kofi Kingston defeated WWE Tag Team Champions Primo Colon & Epico (w/ Rosa Mendes) at 7:03 to win the titles when Kingston pinned Epico with the spin kick to the face after Truth dropped Epico throat-first across the top rope; during the match, it was noted WWE.com had just broken news that Nikki & Brie Bella had been fired (4/30/12; Dayton, OH)
– World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus pinned Randy Orton in a non-title match with a roll up after avoiding the RKO at around the 21-minute mark; after the match, Orton extended his hand to Sheamus, with Sheamus shaking it before Orton dropped him with the RKO (5/15/12; Hershey, PA)
– The Big Show fought Brodus Clay (w/ Cameron & Naomi) to a no contest; upon his entrance, Show took the mic and said Clay was as much of a sell out as him, then comparing Clay to Doink the Clown before adding Doink, unlike Clay, actually had talent; after Show assaulted Clay at ringside, Show fought off WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston & R-Truth before kicking apart the commentary table; Show then used part of the table to twice hit Clay across the back and easily manhandled Kingston & Truth while knocking Clay out with a punch; moments later, Show and John Laurinaitis held up their hands at the entrance stage as the show ended; moments later, Clay was taken backstage on a stretcher (5/28/12; New Orleans, LA)
– Dolph Ziggler defeated Jack Swagger, WWE IC Champion Christian, and the Great Khali in an elimination match at 12:20; prior to the bout, Guerrero introduced both Ziggler and Swagger from the entrance stage; stipulations stated the winner would challenge World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus Sunday at No Way Out; the three pinned Khali at 1:52 after Christian hit the frog splash; Ziggler pinned Swagger at 8:38 after Christian hit Swagger with the Killswitch; Ziggler pinned Christian with the Zig Zag after Christian landed on his injured ankle; after the bout, Sheamus appeared on the entrance stage and held up the title belt in Ziggler’s face (6/11/12; Houston, TX)

– Alberto Del Rio defeated Kane, Daniel Bryan, and Rey Mysterio Jr. at around the 12-minute mark by pinning Bryan after Mysterio hit the 619 on both ADR and Bryan, then the splash off the top onto Bryan before Ricardo Rodriguez pulled Mysterio to the floor; stipulations stated the winner would become the #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Title; Rodriguez served as ADR’s ring announcer for the bout (7/24/12; Kansas City, MO)
– Ryback defeated Curt Hawkins & Tyler Reks in a handicap match at 2:50 by pinning Hawkins with the Samoan Drop; during his entrance, a pretaped insert promo by Ryback aired regarding the match; after the bout, Ryback chanted “Feed me more!” (8/6/12; San Antonio, TX)
– Rey Mysterio Jr. pinned Cody Rhodes at around the 8-minute mark with a reversal into a roll up; during his entrance, an insert promo from Rhodes aired in which he discussed why Mysterio and Sin Cara really wear masks; after the bout, Rhodes attacked Mysterio and tried to unmask him before Sin Cara ran out and opened the door for Mysterio to hit the 619; moments later, Sin Cara put one of his own masks on Rhodes’ head before then shaking Mysterio’s hand (8/28/12; Green Bay, WI)
– Alberto Del Rio pinned John Cena in a falls count anywhere match at around the 14-minute mark after, as the two fought backstage, WWE World Champion CM Punk kicked Cena in the head and pulled ADR ontop of Cena for the win; during ADR’s entrance, a Tout from David Otunga said he would address Ricardo Rodriguez’s injuries on Smackdown; after the contest, Punk used a nearby car to drop Cena with the Go To Sleep; Punk then held up his title belt from the passenger’s side; moments later, the driver’s window came down to reveal Paul Heyman behind the wheel (the match began during the commercial break) (9/3/12; Chicago, IL)
– Randy Orton defeated Damien Sandow via count-out in an impromptu match at around the 8-minute mark when Sandow ran backstage; during Sandow’s entrance, he cut a promo in which he complained about being put into a match without having had time to prepare for it, bragged about having not been pinned, and while fans were going to social media to call him a coward none of them had to guts to do so to his face; he then said the fans should spend less time tweeting and touting and more time reading, before being interrupted by Orton’s entrance; Orton then said he already went to Booker T and said he wanted a match with Sandow; before the bell rang, Dolph Ziggler & Vickie Guerrero walked out, with Ziggler providing guest commentary for the bout; after the contest, Orton slid to the floor and confronted Ziggler; the two then fought in the ring, with Sandow running back out and sustaining the RKO as Ziggler slid out of the ring (9/4/12; Moline, IL)
– Dolph Ziggler pinned Kofi Kingston at 11:07 with the Zig Zag after throwing Kingston upside down in the corner; prior to the bout, Vickie Guerrero introduced Ziggler from the entrance stage; during Ziggler’s entrance, recent tweets between the two were shown; R-Truth escorted Kingston to the ring before the match; following the entrances, Vickie and Truth had a confrontation at ringside, with Vickie having Truth’s drink dumped on her before the referee ejected them both from ringside; during the bout, it was noted Criss Angel was the social media ambassador for the night’s show (9/24/12; Albany, NY)
– Beth Phoenix pinned Natalya Neidhart at 4:15 with a roll over; prior to the bout, a Tout from WWE Divas Champion Eve aired in which she said she took the attack on Kaitlyn very seriously; the two shook hands to start the contest; late in the match, Natalya kicked out of the Glam Slam; after the contest, Eve appeared at the entrance stage, apologized for her accusations against Phoenix, but then suspended her indefinitely until the investigation was complete (9/25/12; Buffalo, NY)

– WWE Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan & Kane defeated Alberto Del Rio & David Otunga in an impromptu non-title match at 4:59 when Bryan pinned Otunga with a headbutt off the top after Kane hit Otunga with a chokeslam; Ricardo Rodriguez served as ADR’s ring announcer for the match; after the contest, Bryan & Kane argued about who was the tag team champions (10/2/12; Tulsa, OK)
– WWE World Champion CM Punk (w/ Paul Heyman) pinned Dolph Ziggler (w/ Vickie Guerrero) in a non-title match with the Go To Sleep at around the 10-minute mark (10/2/12; Tulsa, OK)
– Vince McMahon fought WWE World Champion CM Punk (w/ Paul Heyman) to a no contest in a non-title match at around the 9-minute mark; during McMahon’s entrance, Punk jumped him from behind at ringside; during the match, Punk at one point put on a headset at the commentary table and yelled “What a maneuver!”; at the 6-minute mark, McMahon took a kendo stick, punched Heyman, and took possession of the title belt, keeping Punk from entering the ring to take it back; moments later, Punk grabbed his own kendo stick, leading to the two trading blows in the ring; during the closing moments of the match, Punk had McMahon up for the Go To Sleep before Ryback ran out, scaring Punk to the floor; moments later, John Cena appeared and tossed Punk back into the ring, where he narrowly escaped Ryback’s Shell Shocked; Punk then escaped through the crowd, with McMahon then taking a mic and telling Punk he had a week to decide who he would face at Hell in a Cell — Cena or Ryback — and if he didn’t decide then McMahon would decide for him (10/8/12; Sacramento, CA)

– Bret Hart defeated Owen Hart via submission with the Sharpshooter in a no holds barred match at around the 12-minute mark after avoiding a missile dropkick and hitting a catapult into the top turnbuckle; after the match, Bret kept the hold applied until a number of officials swarmed the ring (3/13/95; Stockton, CA)
– Bret Hart defeated Jean Pierre Lafitte at 16:37 via submission with the Sharpshooter after both men collided; prior to the bout, footage was shown of Lafitte stealing Hart’s glasses and jacket over the previous month; Lafitte came to the ring wearing Hart’s jacket; after Lafitte’s entrance, Hart cut a backstage interview regarding the upcoming match; Hart made his entrance through the In Your House stage front door instead of the regular entranceway; after the match, Hart regained possession of his jacket (In Your House 3 – 9/24/95; Saginaw, MI)
– Bret Hart pinned Steve Austin with an inside cradle at 19:56 after kicking off the turnbuckle to make a reversal; prior to the bout, both men gave comments about the upcoming match, with Austin saying it took him 8 months and a flight to South Africa for Hart to face him and Hart saying it was his last official match with the WWF and while he could leave the company he alluded that he wouldn’t; following Austin’s entrance, he took the mic and threatened Owen Hart to not mess with his match; after his statement drew applause from the fans, Austin said he would “whip Bret Hart’s ass” and then the crowd’s too (9/14/96; Sun City, South Africa)

– WCW World Title Tournament Semi-Finals: Bret Hart defeated Sting via submission with the Sharpshooter at 10:06 after beating Sting’s injured leg to get out of the Scorpion Deathlock; Hart originally won the match via disqualification at 7:32 when, after referee Mickey Jay was knocked out, Lex Luger, with Elizabeth, came out and hit Sting in the leg with his baseball bat before Hart locked Luger in the Sharpshooter; Hart then argued he didn’t want to win the match that way so the bout continued; after the match, the two men shook hands (Mayhem – 11/21/99; Toronto, Ontario)

– The Undertaker pinned Mankind in a Hell in a Cell match at 17:38 with the tombstone after dropping Mankind with an electric chair and chokeslam onto a pile of thumb tacs inside the ring; the match began on the roof of the cage where, 90 seconds into the contest, Taker threw his opponent off the top through the Spanish announce table on the floor; moments later, EMTs, Terry Funk and WWF officials Vince McMahon, Sgt. Slaughter, Tony Garea, and Dave Hebner came out to check on Mankind and to load him onto a stretcher; nearly 8 minutes later, Mankind pulled himself off the stretcher and scaled the cage to continue the match; less than 20 seconds later, the Undertaker hit a chokeslam on the roof of the cage, resulting in Mankind falling through the roof, hitting the mat, and being legitly knocked out by a steel chair which fell inside the ring on top of him; EMTs and officials again swarmed the ringside area where Taker hit a chokeslam on Terry Funk in order to buy Mankind time to recover his senses; voted Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Match of the Year and named Pro Wrestling Torch’s Match of the Year (King of the Ring 98 – 6/28/98; Pittsburgh, PA)
– Kane & Mankind defeated WWF Tag Team Champions the Road Dogg & Billy Gunn to win the titles after D-Lo Brown came through the crowd and hit a frog splash, wearing his steel chest protector, as DX and the Nation brawled around ringside (7/13/98; East Rutherford, NJ)
– Mankind defeated WWF World Champion the Rock (w/ Vince & Shane McMahon) at 13:33 with the Mandible Claw; at the 10-minute mark, Vince ordered referee Mike Chioda to disqualify the challenger for a minor technicality, which resulted in Mankind hitting a piledriver on the referee to prevent the match stopping; moments later, the challenger also assaulted the time keeper so that McMahon could not order the match to be over; after the bout, Vince stated that Mankind was the winner of the match but since the Rock was not pinned nor did he submit, he was still the champion; moments later, Mankind put the Mr. Socko Mandible Claw on Vince before sustaining a chair shot to the back from Shane; Mankind no-sold the chair and reapplied the hold before Shane once again used the chair; Mankind then applied the move on Shane before hitting a running knee to the corner on Vince and fighting off Pat Patterson and Jerry Brisco; moments later, the Big Bossman and Ken Shamrock came out to help the Rock triple team Mankind (In Your House: Rock Bottom – 12/13/98; Vancouver, British Columbia)

– Hunter Hearst Helmsley defeated Henry Godwinn at 8:58 in an Arkansas Hog Pen match by backdropping Henry into the hog pen; prior to the entrances, Hillbilly Jim was introduced as the surprise guest referee, with Jim then taking the mic and talking about the match; after the bout, Godwinn hit a gorilla press slam on Helmsley into the slop and then slammed him in it before celebrating with Jim; moments later, Helmsley repeatedly tried to stand up in the hog pen but kept slipping and falling back into it (12/17/95; Hershey, PA)

– Steve Austin pinned Hunter Hearst Helmsley (sub. for Savio Vega) with the Stunner at 15:30; prior to the bout, Kevin Kelly conducted a backstage interview with Austin regarding Helmsley replacing Vega and Bret Hart returning the following night on Raw; mid-way through the match, Mr. Perfect appeared ringside to take Helmsley’s valet backstage; after passing Austin on the floor, Austin confronted Perfect and later threw water in his face before backing off and Perfect leaving ringside with the valet; during the match, Jim Ross’ audio went in and out, which he blamed on Vince McMahon (10/20/96; Indianapolis, IN)
– The Undertaker defeated Mankind (w/ Paul Bearer) in a Buried Alive match at 18:25; after the match, the Executioner attacked the Undertaker from behind with a shovel – with Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Justin Bradshaw, Goldust, Crush, Mankind, and the Executioner (Terry Gordy) then burying the Undertaker; as the show was about to go off the air, a lightning bolt shot down from the ceiling before the Undertaker’s hand was seen coming out of the dirt (Terry Gordy’s surprise return after a 12-year absence) (10/20/96; Indianapolis, IN)
– Bret Hart defeated Vader (w/ Paul Bearer), the Undertaker, and Steve Austin in a Final Four match by last eliminating Taker at 24:06 to win the vacant WWF World Title; pre-match stipulations stated that eliminations could occur via pinfall, submission, or by tossing your opponent over the top to the floor; early in the bout, Taker busted Vader’s eye after hitting him in the face with the steel ringsteps; during the bout, Psycho Sid – who would challenge the winner the following night on Monday Night Raw – was shown watching the match backstage; Hart eliminated Austin by throwing him over the top at 18:09; Austin returned minutes later to attack Bret; Taker eliminated Vader at 22:33 by knocking him off the top as he attempted a moonsault on Taker; Hart eliminated Taker with a clothesline after Taker knocked an interfering Austin off the apron; after the bout, Sid interrupted Hart’s celebratory fireworks and confronted Hart in the ring as the show came to a close (2/16/97; Chattanooga, TN)

Lou Albano & Cyndi Lauper) defeated Roddy Piper (w/ Bob Orton Jr.) via disqualification at 7:40 after Paul Orndorff, who came ringside midway through the contest, joined Piper in attacking the champion after the referee was knocked out; moments later, as Piper and Orndorff prepared to knock Cyndi Lauper off the ring apron, Mr. T – who was sitting ringside for the event – came out of his seat and into the ring where he and Hogan faced off against Piper and Orndorff until officials and police swarmed the ring; prior to the bout, Piper came to the ring wearing a Hulk Hogan t-shirt and smashed a guitar in the ring to show what he thought of rock ‘n’ roll; Orton wore a sling on his arm as a result of his match against Jimmy Snuka earlier in the show; after the match, Hogan celebrated in the ring with Mr. T, Albano, and Lauper; Bob Costas introduced the participants prior to the contest (2/18/85; Madison Square Garden)

11/16/09 – featured an opening backstage segment of Piper’s Pit in which Roddy Piper, the host of the episode, introduced Luis Guzman and spoke about his upcoming film “Old Dogs,” with Seth Green, John Travolta, and Robin Williams; Piper stated Mr. T was in the film too, which Guzman corrected; moments later, Piper said he arranged for “Iron Chef” Bobby Flay to be part of the show but the Iron Sheik, with Brie & Nikki Bella, came out instead; Guzman told Sheik he remembered when he fought Hulk Hogan, with Sheik then going into a tirade about Hogan and eventually using an Iron Sheik LJN action figure to beat up a Hogan LJN action figure and put him in the Camel Clutch; Piper, Guzman, and Sheik then said “Live, from New York, it’s Monday Night Raw;” included a new show opening to the tune of Nickelback’s “Burn it to the Ground;” featured a new entrance way; included an in-ring promo by Triple H & Shawn Michaels in which they shilled “The Unauthorized History of DX” and noted Sherri Shepherd, of “The View,” was in the crowd with her own copy; Triple H then said he and Michaels agreed that they weren’t going to implode and it didn’t matter which of them beats WWE World Champion John Cena at Survivor Series; they then brought up the fact Hornswoggle was continuing to use their gimmick and asked for him to come out to the ring to see if he was a good fit to join DX; moments later, Triple H dropped Hornswoggle with the Pedigree and Michaels led the crowd in saying “Suck it;” Triple H & Michaels then pulled a backboard out from under the ring, which already had DX written on it, and took Hornswoggle backstage on it; featured a video package highlighting the history of WWE at Madison Square Garden, to the tune of “Empire State of Mind” by Jay-Z feat. WWE Divas Champion Melina pinned Alicia Fox in a lumberjill match at 1:39 with the sunset flip / powerbomb; Judah Friedlander, of “30 Rock,” was the guest ring announcer for the match; his intro claimed he was master of the martial arts, a bodybuilder, and a former player of the Brazilian National Soccer Team where he scored 15 goals in one game as the goal keeper, and is the greatest athlete in the world; the match was scheduled as a regular singles match; the added stipulation wasn’t announced until after both participants made their entrance; lumberjills around ringside included Jillian Hall, Mickie James, WWE Women’s Champion Michelle McCool, Layla, Beth Phoenix, Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim, and Eve; after the contest, all the divas brawled with the babyfaces eventually clearing the ring and dancing with Judah in the ring
Jack Swagger pinned Evan Bourne at around the 4-minute mark with the gutwrench powerbomb after ramming Bourne into two consecutive corners (the bout began during the commercial break)

Sin Cara pinned Evan Bourne at 4:52 with a modified La Mistica after Bourne missed Air Bourne and landed on his feet; following the ring entrances, Booker T and Eve appeared backstage and spun the wheel to determine the stipulation; during the match, some in the crowd chanted “Power Ranger” and “USA” toward Sin Cara; the match was wrestled under blue and orange lights
Kofi Kingston pinned WWE US Champion Dolph Ziggler in a non-title match at 7:37 with the spin kick to the head; Vickie Guerrero was banned from ringside for the bout; following Kingston’s entrance, Vickie appeared at the entrance stage to introduce the champion but was promptly ejected by referees due to the stipulation
Alberto Del Rio defeated the Big Show in a steel cage match at 5:19 when Mark Henry, who appeared ringside at the 2-minute mark, broke the cage door off and attacked Show with it inside the ring, allowing Del Rio to escape out the door; after the bout, Henry rammed the door into Show, causing Show to knock down a side of the cage and fall out to the floor; Henry then went out to the floor as numerous referees and officials tended to Show and ordered Henry backstage; during the commercial break, Show was helped to his feet at ringside
WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly defeated Nikki Bella (w/ Brie Bella) in a non-title submission match at 1:14 when Nikki submitted to a Boston Crab; during the Bellas’ entrance, it was noted Brie would challenge Kelly at Money in the Bank; after the entrances, Booker T appeared backstage and spun the wheel, with it landing on submission match; after the contest, the Bellas attacked Kelly until Eve made the save
Rey Mysterio Jr. & Alex Riley defeated Mike Mizanin & Jack Swagger in a Texas Tornado match at 11:43 when Mysterio pinned Swagger with a splash off the top after hitting the 619 and Riley following with a DDT
R-Truth defeated WWE World Champion John Cena in a non-title tables match at 5:12 with a tackle, putting Cena through a table set up in the corner, as Cena fought off an interfering CM Punk; during the bout, there were dueling chants of “Let’s go, Cena” and “Cena sucks;” after the contest, Punk walked up the ramp with a mic, eventually sitting down at the stage and said he liked Cena but hated the idea that Cena was the best; Punk then said the one thing Cena was better at was kissing Vince McMahon’s ass, then adding Hulk Hogan and “Dwayne” were the same; Punk then said Paul Heyman saw a lot in him, as he did Brock Lesnar who also left, then adding no one could touch him on the mic, in the ring, or on commentary; Punk went on to rant about the fact he wasn’t promoted as strong as those who weren’t as good as him yet someone like “Dwayne” was in the main event of WrestleMania next year; Punk then said he might take the belt to New Japan Pro Wrestling or Ring of Honor, adding “Hey, Colt Cabana. How you doing?”; Punk continued to rant about how Vince McMahon should be a billionaire but surrounds himself with gladhanders like John Laurinaitis, then ranted about Stephanie McMahon and Triple H and the anti-bullying campaign before his mic was cut off

WWE US Champion Santino Marella defeated Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger at 6:52 by pinning Swagger with the Cobra after the challenger missed a charge into the corner; prior to the bout, Vickie Guerrero introduced both challengers from the entrance stage and then supported them at ringside during the bout; after the contest, Marella was double teamed before he walked up the stage, with Brodus Clay walking out and standing side by side with Marella; Ziggler then ran after Clay only to sustain a headbutt that sent him reeling down the ramp; moments later, Santino, Brodus, Naomi, and Cameron danced at the entrance stage
Lord Tensai defeated Alex Riley when the referee stopped the match at 2:49 after Tensai hit a double choke sit-down powerbomb; after Tensai took off his helmet, the crowd chanted “Welcome back;” late in the contst, there was a brief chant of “Daniel Bryan;” after the contest, Tensai attacked Riley and applied a claw hold on him until he passed out (Tensai’s debut; Matt Bloom’s return after an 8-year absence)
Mark Henry defeated WWE World Champion CM Punk via count-out at 12:57 when Punk couldn’t get back in the ring by the referee’s count; during the bout, there were chants of “Yes” and “Daniel Bryan;” after the contest, Henry dropped Punk with the powerslam on the floor; the crowd then chanted “We want Lesnar,” with John Laurinaitis then coming out, alongside David Otunga, saying the fans wanted to see more title defenses on TV; Chris Jericho then came out of the crowd with a mic, saying his and Punk’s match was a classic, and they should celebrate with a drink; Jericho then noted Punk being straight edge before taking a bottle of alcohol and pouring it on Punk’s face; Jericho then assaulted him before taking another bottle and smashing it over the back of Punk’s head
Kofi Kingston pinned Cody Rhodes at 1:47 with the spin kick to the face after WWE IC Champion the Big Show came out to the entrance stage and made fun of beating Rhodes for the title the previous night
Mike Mizanin pinned Zack Ryder at 2:55 with the Skull Crushing Finale after throwing Ryder shoulder-first into the ringpost; during the bout, it was noted John Cena had just arrived to the arena
