– WCW / NWA Tag Team Champions Steve Austin & Brian Pillman defeated Dos Hombres (Ricky Steamboat & Tom Zenk) in a steel cage match at 16:08 when Austin pinned Armstrong with the Stun Gun; the challengers wore masks for the duration of the match, with Steamboat claiming the masks gave them good luck in an earlier non-title match; Shane Douglas was to have been Steamboat’s tag team partner but left the company just prior to the show; it was never let on that the masked man beside Steamboat was in fact Armstrong (WCW Slamboree 93 – 5/23/93; Omni)
– Steve Austin (w/ Col. Rob Parker) pinned Brian Pillman at 9:11 when Parker pushed Pillman as he attempted a springboard clothesline into the ring, with Austin then throwing Pillman face-first to the mat; Jesse Ventura’s original commentary was cut from the match (WCW Clash of the Champions XXV – 11/10/93; St. Petersburg, FL)
– Ricky Steamboat pinned WCW US Champion Steve Austin to win the title at 16:08 by reversing a bodyslam into a cradle; pre-match stipulations stated Steamboat could win the title if Austin was disqualified; prior to the match, footage was shown of Eric Bischoff leaving the arena in an ambulance with WCW World Champion Hulk Hogan inside; during the match, footage of Hogan’s ambulance was shown on its way to the hospital; moments later, it was announced Sting had boardered a charter airplane in Chicago – where he was making an appearance – and was on his way to face Flair in Hogan’s place if Hogan was deemed unable to compete; Austin’s tights for the bout read “Dragon Slayer” on the back; during the bout, Steamboat suffered what would become a career-ending back injury (WCW Clash of the Champions XXVIII – 8/24/94; Cedar Rapids, IA)
– ECW Tag Team Champion the Sandman (w/ Woman) defeated ECW World Champion Mikey Whipwreck and Steve Austin in an elimination match to win the title at 20:05; Austin pinned Whipwreck with the Stun Gun at 12:34 after knocking Sandman off the apron; Sandman pinned Austin after hitting him in the back of the head with Austin’s own brass knuckles, even though Austin’s foot was on the bottom rope during the cover (Austin’s debut with short hair) (Austin’s last appearance) (ECW December to Dismember – 12/9/95; ECW Arena)
– Savio Vega defeated Steve Austin (w/ Ted Dibiase) in a Carribean strap match at 21:26 when Austin pulled Vega into the fourth and final corner after Vega touched the first three corners without Austin knowing; due to pre-match stipulations, Ted Dibiase was forced to leave the WWF; had Vega had lost the match, he would have been forced to become Dibiase’s chauffer; after the bout, Austin stormed off while Vega sang “Na Na Hey Hey” to Dibiase (Dibiase’s last appearance) (In Your House: Beware of Dog 2 – 5/28/96; North Charleston, SC)
– Steve Austin pinned Yokozuna at 1:53 after Yoko failed an attempt at the Bonzai Drop, unhinging the top turnbuckle and falling backwards onto his head; prior to the bout, Todd Pettingill attempted to interview Austin backstage as he made his way out but Austin blew him off (Summer Slam 96 ‘Free For All’ – 8/18/96; Cleveland, OH)
– Bret Hart pinned Steve Austin at 28:34 by kicking off the top turnbuckle as he was caught in the Million $ Dream; stipulations stated the winner would challenge the WWF World Champion at the following month’s In Your House; during the bout, it was noted Austin would face Vader the next night on Monday Night Raw in a toughman contest; both men were heavily cheered during the bout (Hart’s in-ring return after a 2-month absence; his TV in-ring return after an 8-month absence) (Survivor Series 96 – 11/17/96; Madison Square Garden)
– Steve Austin & Shawn Michaels defeated WWF Tag Team Champions Owen Hart & Davey Boy Smith to win the titles at 13:25 when Austin pinned Smith after Michaels hit the superkick behind the referee’s back; after the bout, Austin grabbed his title belt and left ringside to attack Bret Hart on the ramp while Smith, Owen, Brian Pillman, and Jim Neidhart attacked Michaels inside the ring; during the bout, Bret, Pillman, and Neidhart watched on from the ramp; if the champions had won, they would defend the titles as scheduled against the Legion of Doom at the King of the Ring but if the challengers won then they would defend against the LOD the following week (5/26/97; Evansville, IN)
– WWF Tag Team Champion Steve Austin fought WWF Tag Team Champion Shawn Michaels to a double disqualification at 22:28 after Austin hit the Stunner on referee Tim White and Michaels superkicked referee Mike Chioda before Earl Hebner stopped the match; early in the match, a Special Olympian made it past the barricade, with security stopping him and Michaels briefly going to the floor to make sure he was OK; moments later, Michaels returned to the floor to escort the man and security to the aisle, with the man’s mother running out to watch him as well; after the match, Austin attempted to come off the middle turnbuckle with one of the title belts but Michaels saw him coming and avoided it; two more referees, Pat Patterson, and Tony Garea then came out to break up the fight; Michaels and Austin then left the ring together, neither man trusting the other (King of the Ring 97 – 6/8/97; Providence, RI)
– Steve Austin & Dude Love (mystery partner) defeated WWF IC Champion Owen Hart & WWF European Champion Davey Boy Smith to win the vacant WWF Tag Team titles at around the 9-minute mark when Dude pinned Smith after Austin hit the Stunner behind the referee’s back; Austin was prepared to wrestle the match as a handicap bout but Dude appeared on the Titantron and offered his services mid-way through the match; after the bout, several Dudettes came in the ring to celebrate the win as Austin shook Dude’s hand and left ringside (Dude’s surprise debut) (7/14/97; San Antonio, TX)
– Steve Austin pinned WWF IC Champion Owen Hart with a roll up to win the title at 16:17; stipulations for the match stated Austin would have to kiss Hart’s ass if he didn’t beat him; following Hart’s entrance, Michael Cole conducted a backstage interview with Austin regarding the stipulations for the match, with Austin telling him off; during the final minute of the match, Hart dropped Austin with a modified tombstone piledriver, causing Austin to have temporary paralysis; after the contest, several referees helped Austin to his feet and then backstage (Summer Slam 97 – 8/3/97; East Rutherford, NJ)
– Dude Love defeated WWF World Champion Steve Austin via disqualification at 21:02 after the champion hit Vince McMahon with a chair; Austin was originally announced as the winner after hitting the Stunner and making his own pinfall, since the referee was knocked out, but Gerald Brisco overruled the decision since the champion struck a WWF official, that being McMahon (Unforgiven 98 – 4/26/98; Greensboro, NC)
– Kane (w/ Paul Bearer) defeated WWF World Champion Steve Austin in a First Blood match to win the title at 14:52 after the Undertaker accidentally hit Austin with a chair; the Undertaker came to the ring to stop the interference of Mankind; had Kane not won the title, he would have set himself on fire (King of the Ring 98 – 6/28/98; Pittsburgh, PA)
– Steve Austin pinned WWF World Champion Kane (w/ Paul Bearer) with the Stunner to win the title at 8:28; after the bout, the Undertaker – who appeared ringside mid-way through the bout – came into the ring and sustained the Stunner from Austin (6/29/98; Cleveland, OH)
– WWF World Champion Steve Austin pinned the Rock at 17:07 in a No Holds Barred match with the Stunner after special referee Shane McMahon accidentally hit the challenger with the title belt; when Shane refused to count the pinfall, Vince McMahon came ringside with a new referee and hit Shane with Austin’s Smoking Skull belt (Backlash 99 – 4/25/99; Providence, RI)
– Steve Austin pinned WWF IC Champion Eddie Guerrero with the Stunner in a non-title match at around 3:12; prior to the bout, Guerrero cut an in-ring promo on Austin, with cameras then showing Austin backstage blocking the Radicalz inside the McMahon-Helmsley locker room with a forklift; there was no opening bell for the match (11/14/00; Indianapolis, IN)
– Steve Austin fought Triple H to a no contest in a No DQ match at around the 25 minute mark; late in the bout, Triple H goaded Austin backstage where Austin was attacked by all four members of the Radicalz until referees and officials intervened; after Triple H ran into the parking lot and hid in his car, waiting for Austin to follow him out so he could run him over, Chris Benoit tricked Austin into the parking lot but Austin quickly disappeared; after Benoit ran back inside to find Austin, Triple H’s car was picked up by a forklift, with Austin operating it; Austin then lifted the car high into the air before dropping it, with the car tipping over onto its hood and smashing to the ground (Survivor Series 00 – 11/19/00; Tampa, FL)
– Triple H defeated Steve Austin in a Best 2 out of 3 falls match at 39:23, 2-1; fall #1 – Austin pinned Triple H in a regular match with a kick to the mid-section and the Stunner at 12:20 as Triple H attempted to come off the top; fall #2 – Triple H pinned Austin at 28:09 with the Pedigree after hitting Austin in the head with a sledgehammer as Austin ran the ropes; fall #3 – Triple H pinned Austin in a steel cage match after Austin hit Triple H with a 2×4 wrapped in barbed wire at the same time Triple H hit Austin with the sledgehammer, with Triple H falling on top for the win; after the bout, Austin hit the Stunner on Triple H; named Pro Wrestling Torch’s Match of the Year (No Way Out 01 – 2/25/01; Las Vegas, NV)
– Steve Austin pinned WWF World Champion the Rock to win the title in a No DQ match at 28:05 after Austin took a steel chair from Vince McMahon, who came ringside at the 22-minute mark and interfered on behalf of the challenger, and assaulted the champion with a chairshot to the head followed by 16 chairshots to the back, ribs, and legs; after the bout, Austin and McMahon shook hands; moments later, Austin hit Rock in the face with the title belt before he and Vince shared a beer to close the show; it was not announced until the ring introductions that the match would be No DQ (WrestleMania X7 – 4/1/01; Astrodome)

Royal Rumble 08 (2/26/08)
– WWE IC Champion Jeff Hardy defeated WWE World Champion Randy Orton via disqualification at the 8-second mark when Orton immediately dropped Hardy with a low blow; only the IC title was on the line; after the match, Orton grabbed a mic and said the show wasn’t over, then tossed Hardy out of the ring onto the ramp; Orton then attempted to drop Hardy with the RKO onto the concrete floor but Hardy fought him off and brawled with Hardy up to the entrance stage; as Orton went to charge Hardy, Hardy backdropped Orton off the stage and – as referees tended to Orton – climbed nearby scaffolding and hit a Swanton off the top onto Orton; medics and officials then swarmed the area and both men were taken backstage in neckbraces and on stretchers; the show ended with Hardy raising his arm in response to the crowd’s applause as he was taken backstage (1/14/08; Mobile, AL)

– The Undertaker (w/ Paul Bearer) pinned Jimmy Snuka at 4:19 with the tombstone after catching Snuka as he attempted a slingshot into the ring (WrestleMania VII – 3/24/91; Los Angeles)
– The Undertaker (w/ Paul Bearer) pinned Jake Roberts at 6:41 following a tombstone on the floor as Roberts attempted to steal the urn away from Bearer; late in the bout, Taker twice sustained Roberts’ DDT (Robert’s last appearance for nearly 4 years) (WrestleMania VIII – 4/5/92; Indianapolis, IN)
– The Undertaker (w/ Paul Bearer) defeated the Giant Gonzalez (w/ Harvey Wippleman) via disqualification at 7:32 when Gonzalez smothered Taker with a rag soaked in Chloraphorm after headbutting Bearer off the ring apron; prior to the bout, Taker was carried out to the ring on a funeral chariot alongside a vulture; after the match, Gonzalez chokeslammed referee Bill Alphonso as the Undertaker was rolled onto a stretcher and taken backstage by officials; the crowd then chanted “Hogan;” moments later, the Undertaker’s gong was sounded and he staggered his way back to the ring where he eventually took Gonzalez down and out of the ring with a flying clothesline; Gonzalez was then escorted backstage by security (WrestleMania IX – 4/4/93; Las Vegas, NV)

– Hunter Hearst Helmsley pinned John Chrystal at 3:10 with a standing Diamond Cutter (Helmsley’s Raw debut) (5/15/95; Binghamton, NY)
– Hunter Hearst Helmsley pinned WWF IC Champion Marc Mero (sub. for Mr. Perfect) (w/ Sable & Mr. Perfect) to win the title at around the 10-minute mark with the Pedigree after Mr. Perfect, who did guest commentary for the match, grabbed a steel chair away from the challenger and hit Mero in the head with it; Perfect was to have made his in-ring return after a 3-year absence but was attacked backstage earlier in the show after Helmsley ran a cart into Perfect’s leg; prior to the bout, Jim Ross conducted an in-ring interview with WWF President Gorilla Monsoon, Mero, Sable, Perfect, and Helmsley in which Monsoon announced that Perfect was not cleared to wrestle due to the injury but Perfect said Mero had volunteered to take his place in the match; Helmsley then objected, saying he wasn’t obligated to wrestle Mero and that he would only do so if the IC title was on the line; Perfect then agreed on behalf of Mero that the title would be at stake and Monsoon allowed the match to take place; after the bout, Perfect and Helmsley celebrated the victory; later that weekend during Livewire, Monsoon announced he had revoked Perfect’s wrestling license indefinately (the match began during the commercial break) (10/21/96; Ft. – WWF European Champion Triple H (w/ Chyna) pinned Owen Hart at 11:27 with the Pedigree after a low blow from Chyna; WWF Comissioner Sgt. Slaughter had himself handcuffed to Chyna for the duration of the title match, however late in the contest Chyna threw powder in Slaughter’s face and interfered behind the referee’s back (WrestleMania 14 – 3/29/98; Boston, MA)
– Triple H (w/ Chyna) pinned WWF World Champion Mankind to win the title at 8:43 with the Pedigree; moments prior to the finish, Triple H hit the champion with a chair shot to the head on the floor, then did the same to the Rock, who was doing guest commentary for the bout; seconds later, Shane McMahon – who was the original referee for the bout until being knocked to the floor and having Earl Hebner replace him – pulled Hebner to the floor and knocked him out before sliding in the ring and making the 3-count; Chyna came ringside early in the bout, still selling the guitar shot from Jeff Jarrett earlier in the show (8/23/99; Ames, IA)

– World Heavyweight Champion Batista pinned Triple H in a Hell in a Cell match at 26:55 with a spinebuster onto the steel ring steps and the sit-down powerbomb; the challenger attempted to hit Batista in the face with a sledgehammer while he was in the air, set up for the powerbomb, but didn’t have the chance to land the blow in time; prior to the bout, the challenger was escorted to the ring by Ric Flair (Vengeance 05 – 6/26/05; Las Vegas, NV)

Adnan) to win the title at 20:23 with the legdrop after a boot to the face; in the final moments of the match, Slaughter laid the Iraqi flag across the challenger, went to cover him, and Hogan kicked out and Hulked up, which then led to the finish; Regis Philbin did guest commentary for the match; Alex Trebeck was the guest ring announcer and introduced both participants; Marla Maples was the guest time keeper for the bout (WrestleMania VII – 3/24/91; Los Angeles, CA)

– WWF IC Champion Kerry Von Erich pinned Mr. Perfect at 11:38 when Von Erich lifted his shoulder following a back suplex and bridge by the challenger; Roddy Piper was the guest referee for the bout; after the bout, Perfect celebrated with the title belt, believing he had won, until the decision was announced; moments later, Perfect repeatedly hit both Von Erich and Piper with the title belt until referees swarmed the ring; Piper eventually struggled to his feet, went after Perfect, but then returned to the ring to raise Von Erich’s hand in victory (11/24/90; Madison Square Garden)

– WWF IC Champion Shawn Michaels (w/ Diesel) defeated Mr. Perfect via count-out at 11:18 when Diesel threw the challenger into the steel ring post after the challenger rolled Michaels back into the ring; after the match, Perfect attacked Michaels and Diesel in the ring before he was eventually double teamed, with Diesel knocking Perfect out with a punch to the face; moments later, Todd Pettingill conducted an interview with Michaels and Diesel in the aisle, during which Michaels proclaimed himself the greatest IC champion of all time (Summer Slam 93 – 8/30/93; Auburn Hills, MI)
– Bret Hart defeated Curt Hennig (w/ Rick Rude) via submission with the Sharpshooter at 13:50; immediately after the match, Rude attacked Hart from behind, with he and Hennig double teaming Hart; Rude then dropped Hart with the Rude Awakening before Hennig threw a steel chair down on top of Bret, placed a foot on his chest, and posed; moments later, the two blocked the trainer from checking on Hart; Hart’s theme music was altered for the DVD (WCW Uncensored 98 – 3/15/98; Mobile, AL)

Summer Slam 08 (9/16/08)
– ECW World Champion Mark Henry (w/ Tony Atlas) pinned Matt Hardy at 14:18 with the powerslam after raising his knees to block a moonsault; during the bout, a crawl at the bottom of the screen said an uninterrupted airing of the program would be shown on WWE.com the following day at 4 p.m. EST; during the final moments of the match, Hardy hit the Twist of Fate but Atlas pulled the challenger out of the ring, preventing the pinfall, without the referee seeing it (8/19/08; Moline, IL)

Hell in a Cell (10/14/08)
– WWF European Champion Shawn Michaels pinned the Undertaker at 29:56 in a non-title Hell in a Cell match after Paul Bearer and Kane came ringside, Kane ripped the door off the cage, and hit the tombstone on the Undertaker before leaving ringside; Michaels was escorted to the ring by Triple H, Chyna, and Rick Rude but all three returned backstage after the cage door was locked shut; midway through the contest, the door had to be unlocked in order to get an injured cameraman to safety (a local indy wrestler) – resulting in the two participants having a lengthy brawl outside and on top of the cage; after the contest, Triple H and Chyna helped Michaels backstage; due to prematch stipulations, Michaels earned a world title shot for the Survivor Series; named Pro Wrestling Torch’s Match of the Year (the 1st ever HIAC; Kane’s surprise debut) (Badd Blood – 10/5/97; St. Louis, MO)
– WWF World Champion Steve Austin & the Undertaker fought Kane & Mankind (w/ Paul Bearer) to a no contest in a Hell in a Cell match when Bearer locked himself inside the cage as Austin brawled with Kane & Mankind around ringside; the Undertaker, who failed to arrive when his music played moments earlier, came up from underneath the ring and brutalized Bearer as Austin scaled the cage to attack Kane on the roof (6/15/98; San Antonio, TX)
– The Undertaker pinned Mankind in a Hell in a Cell match at 17:38 with the tombstone after dropping Mankind with an electric chair and chokeslam onto a pile of thumb tacs inside the ring; the match began on the roof of the cage where, 90 seconds into the contest, Taker threw his opponent off the top through the Spanish announce table on the floor; moments later, EMTs, Terry Funk and WWF officials Vince McMahon, Sgt. Slaughter, Tony Garea, and Dave Hebner came out to check on Mankind and to load him onto a stretcher; nearly 8 minutes later, Mankind pulled himself off the stretcher and scaled the cage to continue the match; less than 20 seconds later, the Undertaker hit a chokeslam on the roof of the cage, resulting in Mankind falling through the roof, hitting the mat, and being legitly knocked out by a steel chair which fell inside the ring on top of him; EMTs and officials again swarmed the ringside area where Taker hit a chokeslam on Terry Funk in order to buy Mankind time to recover his senses; voted Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Match of the Year and named Pro Wrestling Torch’s Match of the Year (King of the Ring 98 – 6/28/98; Pittsburgh, PA)
– WWF Tag Team Champion Kane fought WWF Tag Team Champion Mankind to a no contest in a Hell in a Cell match at 7:30 when Steve Austin came up from under the ring and attacked Kane (8/24/98; Philadelphia, PA)
– WWF World Champion Triple H (w/ Stephanie McMahon) pinned Cactus Jack in a Hell in a Cell match at 23:58 with the Pedigree; moments earlier, the champion backdropped Cactus on top of the cell, sending him through the ceiling, and partially through the mat as Cactus attempted a piledriver onto a flaming 2×4 wrapped in barbed wire; due to pre-match stipulations, Mick Foley was forced to retire; after the bout, medics came out with a stretcher to help Cactus backstage but he refused help and walked backstage under his own power (Mick Foley’s last match for 4 years) (No Way Out 00 – 2/27/00; Hartford, CT)
– WWF World Champion Kurt Angle defeated Steve Austin, Rikishi, the Undertaker, the Rock, and Triple H in a Hell in a Cell bout at 32:10 by pinning the Rock after Austin hit the Stunner on the Rock but was prevented by making the cover by Triple H; mid-way through the bout, Vince McMahon had a truck driven to the ring so he could dismantle the cage; moments later, Mick Foley came out and had McMahon sent backstage before the cage could be taken down; late in the bout, the Undertaker chokeslammed Rikishi from the top of the cage down onto the bed of the truck; after the match, Austin hit the Stunner on Angle (Armageddon 00 – 12/10/00; Birmingham, AL)
– Triple H pinned Chris Jericho in a Hell in a Cell match at 24:29 by pinning Jericho on the roof of the cell after hitting him over the head with a 2×4 wrapped in barbed wire and following with the Pedigree; the two left the cell late in the bout and climbed to the top when the door was opened to allow officials to check on knocked out referee Tim White (Judgment Day 02 – 5/19/02; Nashville, TN)
– WWE World Champion Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman) pinned the Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell match by reversing an attempt at the tombstone and hitting the F5 at 27:15; after the bout, Lesnar grabbed the belt, scaled to the roof of the cage, and posed as the show came to a close (No Mercy 02 – 10/20/02; Little Rock, AR)
– World Heavyweight Champion Triple H pinned Kevin Nash in a Hell in a Cell match at 21:03 with the Pedigree after hitting Nash in the face with a sledgehammer; Mick Foley was the guest referee for the bout; after the match, Ric Flair and Randy Orton came out to help the champion backstage (Bad Blood 03 – 6/15/03; Houston, TX)
– Triple H pinned Shawn Michaels in a Hell in a Cell match at 47:25 after hitting the Pedigree three times within the final minutes of the match; after the match, WWE IC Champion Randy Orton, Ric Flair, and Batista appeared, rolled the bloody Triple H out of the ring, and helped him backstage; after Evolution left ringside, referee Mike Chioda helped Michaels to his feet to end the broadcast (Bad Blood 04 – 6/13/04; Columbus, OH)
– World Heavyweight Champion Batista pinned Triple H in a Hell in a Cell match at 26:55 with a spinebuster onto the steel ring steps and the sit-down powerbomb; the challenger attempted to hit Batista in the face with a sledgehammer while he was in the air, set up for the powerbomb, but didn’t have the chance to land the blow in time; prior to the bout, the challenger was escorted to the ring by Ric Flair (Vengeance 05 – 6/26/05; Las Vegas, NV)
– The Undertaker pinned Randy Orton (w/ Bob Orton Jr.) in a Hell in a Cell match at 30:30 after hitting both Randy and an interfering Bob with the urn before dropping each man with the tombstone; after the bout, Taker climbed the cell and posed with the urn as the show came to a close (Armageddon 05 – 12/18/05; Providence, RI)
– Shawn Michaels & Triple H defeated ECW World Champion the Big Show, Vince & Shane McMahon in a handicapped Hell in a Cell match at 25:05 when Triple H pinned Vince after breaking a sledgehammer over Vince’s back after Michaels dropped Vince with the superkick; during the final moments of the match, DX pulled down Show’s tights and stuffed Vince’s face against Show’s ass; after the match, medics put both McMahons in neck braces and took them backstage on stretchers (Unforgiven 06 – 9/17/06; Toronto, Ontario)
– World Heavyweight Champion Batista pinned the Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell match at 21:26 when, after Taker dropped the champion with a tombstone onto the ringsteps, Edge – disguised as a cameraman – pulled referee Mickey Henson out of the ring, hit Taker with his video camera, and hit a Con-Chair-Two onto the steps before pulling Batista on top for the win; after the cage was raised, Edge slid back in the ring and hit Taker in the face with the chair (Edge’s surprise return after a 4-month absence) (Survivor Series 07 – 11/18/07; Miami, FL)

No Mercy 08 (11/4/08)
– WWE World Champion Triple H defeated World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho and ECW World Champion Matt Hardy in a non-title match at 12:23 by pinning Hardy with the Pedigree after Hardy dropped Jericho with the Side Effect; after the bout, Jericho dropped Triple H with the Code Breaker, brought a ladder out from under the ring and knocked Hardy out with it; moments later, Jeff Hardy made the save and knocked Jericho to the floor; Triple H then went after Jeff but Jeff hit him with the Twist of Fate and scaled the ladder; Vladimir Kozlov then appeared, with Hardy leaping onto him but Kozlov knocking him out with a headbutt to the chest; Kozlov then dropped Triple H with the reverse DDT as the show went off the air (9/30/08; Green Bay, WI)

– Edge (sub. for Ken Shamrock) pinned WWF IC Champion Jeff Jarrett (w/ Debra) to win the title at 4:38 with the spear after Jarrett narrowly avoided knocking Debra off the apron; prior to the bout, Howard Finkel announced Shamrock would not appear due to transportation problems; moments later, Jarrett told referee Earl Hebner to hold his hand up in victory, with Edge then coming out to face Jarrett in Shamrock’s place; after the bout, the belt was returned to Jarrett momentarily, because Edge was not his scheduled opponent, but an announcement was made moments later that officials agreed that it was a title match and Edge was the new champion; Edge & Matt Striker provided commentary for the bout (7/24/99; Skydome)

– Edge pinned Randy Orton with the spear at 16:02 after Orton avoided hitting an exposed turnbuckle (4/30/07; Nashville, TN)
– Edge pinned World Heavyweight Champion the Undertaker with the spear at 1:24 to win the title; after the bout, Edge returned to the ring and hit Taker across the face with the Money in the Bank briefcase (5/8/07; Pittsburgh, PA)
– World Heavyweight Champion Edge defeated Batista via count-out at 16:38 when Batista rolled Edge back inside the ring, just before the 10-count, after hitting the sit-down powerbomb on the floor; pre-match stipulations stated if Batista did not win the title he would not receive future title shots from Edge; prior to the bout, a highlight package was shown of former NWA World Champion Harley Race, with Race then being introduced to the crowd; moments later, Batista went out to the floor to shake hands with Race; Batista originally won the match via disqualification at 12:47 when Edge hit a low blow to keep the title but Teddy Long appeared moments later and ordered the match to continue, with the stipulation that if Edge was disqualified a second time he would lose the title; after the bout, Batista again hit the sit-down powerbomb on Edge (Vengeance 07 – 6/24/07; Houston, TX)
– World Heavyweight Champion Edge (w/ Vickie Guerrero) pinned Rey Mysterio Jr. at 12:36 by hitting the spear as Mysterio attempted a springboard into the ring, moments after hitting both Edge and an interfering Guerrero with the 619; Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins were in the champion’s corner early on but were ejected at the 3-minute mark as they attempted to attack Mysterio on the floor; after the bout, Ryder, Hawkins, and Edge tended to Guerrero outside the ring and helped her back into her wheelchair (Royal Rumble 08 – 1/27/08; Madison Square Garden)
– Edge defeated the Undertaker in a TLC match at 23:21 after shoving Taker off the top of the ladder and sending him through several tables set up in the aisle; pre-match stipulations stated the winner would earn the vacant World Heavyweight Title and that Taker would be banned from the WWE if he lost; Curt Hawkins & Zach Ryder interfered on be half of Edge at the 17-minute mark and Chavo Guerrero Jr. & Bam Neely interfered on behalf of Edge at the 21-minute mark; after the contest, Edge, Hawkins, Ryder, Guerrero, & Neely celebrated at the entranceway, with Vickie Guerrero then appearing and hugging the new champion; after they all left ringside, Taker struggled to his feet and walked backstage as the show came to a close (One Night Stand 08 – 6/1/08; San Diego, CA)
