– Triple H pinned Vince McMahon in a no holds barred match at 29:45 by placing one foot on Vince’s chest after Vince pushed his daughter Stephanie, who sat ringside for the match, out of the way and received a sledgehammer blow to the midsection and face; early in the contest, Mankind came ringside with a shopping cart full of weapons for Vince to use; after the contest, Triple H attempted to use the sledgehammer on Stephanie as she tended to her father but then put the weapon down as he and Stephanie embraced, revealing that their feud was a ruse all along; due to pre-match stipulations, Triple H earned a world title shot; had Vince won, the marriage between Triple H and Stephanie would have become null and void (Armageddon 99 – 12/12/99; Ft. – Sting, WCW TV Champion Lex Luger, & Randy Savage fought Kevin Nash & Scott Hall to a no contest at around the 17-minute mark when Hulk Hogan appeared, scared Hall & Nash from the ring, and then hit the legdrop on Savage three times, signaling his allignment with them; Luger was taken backstage on a stretcher at the 3-minute mark after his neck was laid across the top turnbuckle and he accidentally sustained a Stinger Splash; prior to the match, Gene Okerlund came out and interviewed Hall & Nash about their mystery third partner, with both men only saying that the third man was in the building; after the bout, a fan attempted to get in the ring but was kicked out by Hall & Nash, with security then attending to the man; moments later, Gene Okerlund conducted an in-ring interview with Hogan, alongside Hall & Nash, during which fans littered the ring with trash; during the segment, Hogan coined the name New World Order to describe the trio of he, Hall, and Nash and said the trash thrown in the ring represents the fans that disrespected him (Bash at the Beach 96 – 7/7/96; Daytona Beach, FL)
– WCW World Champion Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, & the nWo Sting (w/ Ted Dibiase) defeated Sting, Lex Luger, WCW US Champion Ric Flair, & Arn Anderson in Wargames at 18:18 when referees Nick Patrick and Randy Anderson called for the bell after Luger became caught in the nWo Sting’s Scorpion Deathlock as Hogan had Luger in a choke; order of entry: Hall, Anderson, Nash, Luger, Hogan, Flair, nWo Sting, and Sting; the participants remained backstage until they were officially in the match; upon his entrance, Sting single-handedly laid out the nWo before walking out on his team for them not believing him; after the match, Luger crawled in the aisle, calling for Sting, until he was attacked by the nWo; moments later, Flair and Anderson brawled with the nWo as Randy Savage cornered Hogan in the ring; moments later, the Giant arrived and twice dropped Savage with the chokeslam, with Miss Elizabeth appearing and begging Hogan to leave Savage alone; as Elizabeth covered Savage’s body, Hogan spraypainted “NWO” across her back; Hogan then cut an in-ring promo calling Savage and Elizabeth trash and spitting on Elizabeth; the nWo then continued to stomp Savage before the Giant spraypainted “NWO” on his back and again dropped him with the chokeslam; moments later, the nWo took over the commentary position, scaring off the commentary team, with Dibiase saying he had made some demands to WCW and, because of the Wargames win, intended to see them come true; the trainer and Elizabeth then helped Savage from the ring as the show came to a close (Fall Brawl96 – 9/15/96; Winston-Salem, NC)
– Kevin Nash pinned WCW World Champion Bill Goldberg to win the title in a No DQ match at 11:19 with the powerbomb after Goldberg fought off an interfering Disco Inferno and Bam Bam Bigelow before Scott Hall, dressed in an event staff t-shirt, stuck the champion with a stungun (Goldberg’s record: 174-1) (Starrcade 98 – 12/27/98; Washington DC)

– Andre the Giant pinned Hulk Hogan (w/ Freddie Blassie) at 7:48 with a bodyslam and splash and a fast count from the referee; Hogan visibly kicked out at 2 but the referee didn’t notice (8/9/80; Shea Stadium)
– Bob Backlund (w/ Hulk Hogan) defeated Samula (w/ Afa, Sika, & Capt. Lou Albano) via disqualification at 4:34 when the Samoans and Albano attacked Backlund as he applied the Crossface Chicken Wing to his opponent; the bout was to have been Backlund and his mystery partner against the Samoans but Albano refused to the match, instead making it a one-on-one encounter; early in the match, the Samoans tried double teaming Backlund, with Backlund then going backstage and returning with Hogan; after the contest, Hogan and Backlund cleared the ring of the four other men; moments later, Gene Okerlund conducted an interview with Backlund & Hogan in which Backlund said Hogan had changed his ways, with Hogan then thanking Backlund and the fans for bringing him back to the WWF (1/3/84; Allentown, PA)
– Hulk Hogan pinned WWF World Champion the Iron Sheik (w/ Freddie Blassie) at 5:40 with the legdrop to win the title after ramming the champion back-first against the turnbuckle to escape the Camel Clutch; after the bout, Gene Okerlund interviewed the new champion backstage in which he was congratulated by Andre the Giant, Rocky Johnson, and Ivan Putski (Hogan’s return to MSG after a nearly 3-year absense) (1/23/84; Madison Square Garden)
– WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan defeated Paul Orndorff (w/ Bobby Heenan) via disqualification at 11:05 after Heenan hit Hogan over the head with a wooden stool as the champion had Orndorff set up for the piledriver; the decision of the match was not made clear until several moments thereafter as Orndorff covered the champion and the referee, who had been knocked out, tapped his shoulder three times before calling for the bell; after the bout, Orndorff put the belt on and attacked the champion but Hogan eventually sent him to the floor with a boot to the face (8/28/86; Toronto, Ontario; CNE Stadium)
– WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan pinned Andre the Giant (w/ Bobby Heenan) with a bodyslam and the legdrop at 12:07; Bob Ueker was the guest ring announcer and Mary Hart was the guest time keeper; after the match, Hogan was presented with a new heavyweight title belt (WrestleMania III – 3/29/87; Silverdome)

Ware, Hillbilly Jim, and Hercules defeated the Big Bossman (w/ Slick), Akeem, Ted Dibiase (w/ Virgil), King Haku, and the Red Rooster (w/ Bobby Heenan) in an elimination match at 30:11; Savage pinned the Rooster with the flying elbowsmash at 6:10 after a slam by Hogan; after the decision, Heenan yelled at Rooster; Akeem pinned Hillbilly Jim with a clothesline and splash at 9:54; Bossman pinned Koko at 11:45 with the sidewalk slam after Koko missed a splash in the corner; Dibiase pinned Hercules at 16:35 with a knee to the back, roll up, and using the tights for leverage after Hercules became distracted by Virgil on the apron; Savage pinned Dibiase at 16:57 with a roll up as Dibiase was distracted by Hercules on the floor; the Bossman was counted-out at 23:17 as he and Akeem double teamed Hogan on the floor and handcuffed him to the bottom rope; Akeem was disqualified at 25:01 for pushing referee Earl Hebner as Akeem and Bossman double teamed Savage in the ring; Slick remained ringside until moments later when Haku accidentally kicked him off the apron to the floor; moments later, Elizabeth took the handcuff keys from slick and freed Hogan from the ring rope; Hogan pinned Haku with the boot to the face, bodyslam, and legdrop; after the match, Savage appeared to be upset for Hogan celebrating with Elizabeth (Survivor Series 88 – 11/24/88; Richfield, OH)

– WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan & Gene Okerlund defeated George Steele & Mr. Fuji (w/ Jesse Ventura) at around the 6:30 mark when Okerlund pinned Fuji after Hogan slammed his parnter onto Fuji and then pushed down on top of him during the cover; Jesse Ventura sat ringside for the match; after the bout, Ventura argued with the referee over the call and briefly faced off against Hogan until Hogan & Okerlund cleared the ring of Steele & Fuji (8/26/84; Minneapolis, MN)
– Hulk Hogan pinned WWF World Champion the Undertaker (w/ Paul Bearer) to win the title at 13:11 with a roll up after Bearer accidentally hit Taker in the head with the urn and Hogan threw ashes from the urn into the champion’s face; WWF President Jack Tunney was at ringside to see that the match was fair but was knocked out during a confrontation between Hogan and Ric Flair on the floor (Undertaker’s first TV loss) (Tuesday in Texas – 12/3/91; San Antonio, TX)

– WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan & Andre the Giant defeated King Kong Bundy & Big John Studd via disqualification at around the 8-minute mark when referee Joey Marella stopped the match as Bundy & Studd double teamed Andre as his arms were tied in the ring ropes; prior to the bout, Hogan & Andre were escorted to the ring by Capt. Lou Albano while Bundy & Studd were escorted by Bobby Heenan; mid-way through the match, the initial referee was knocked out and Marella took over officiating; after the contest, Hogan helped make the save, with he and Andre clearing Bundy & Studd to the floor; moments later, Gene Okerlund interviewed Hogan & Andre in the ring, during which Andre said he wanted more from Bundy & Studd (Saturday Night’s Main Event – 10/31/85; Hershey, PA)

– WCW World Champion the Rock defeated Booker T & Shane McMahon in a handicap match at 15:24 by pinning Booker with the Rock Bottom; Earl Hebner made the count moments after Mike Chioda took out WCW referee Nick Patrick and Chioda was thrown to the floor by Booker; late in the bout, Test interfered on behalf of Booker & Shane but was eventually chased into the crowd by Bradshaw wielding a steel pipe (Unforgiven 01 – 9/23/01; Pittsburgh, PA)
