– Triple H pinned Vince McMahon in a no holds barred match at 29:45 by placing one foot on Vince’s chest after Vince pushed his daughter Stephanie, who sat ringside for the match, out of the way and received a sledgehammer blow to the midsection and face; early in the contest, Mankind came ringside with a shopping cart full of weapons for Vince to use; after the contest, Triple H attempted to use the sledgehammer on Stephanie as she tended to her father but then put the weapon down as he and Stephanie embraced, revealing that their feud was a ruse all along; due to pre-match stipulations, Triple H earned a world title shot; had Vince won, the marriage between Triple H and Stephanie would have become null and void (Armageddon 99 – 12/12/99; Ft. – Sting, WCW TV Champion Lex Luger, & Randy Savage fought Kevin Nash & Scott Hall to a no contest at around the 17-minute mark when Hulk Hogan appeared, scared Hall & Nash from the ring, and then hit the legdrop on Savage three times, signaling his allignment with them; Luger was taken backstage on a stretcher at the 3-minute mark after his neck was laid across the top turnbuckle and he accidentally sustained a Stinger Splash; prior to the match, Gene Okerlund came out and interviewed Hall & Nash about their mystery third partner, with both men only saying that the third man was in the building; after the bout, a fan attempted to get in the ring but was kicked out by Hall & Nash, with security then attending to the man; moments later, Gene Okerlund conducted an in-ring interview with Hogan, alongside Hall & Nash, during which fans littered the ring with trash; during the segment, Hogan coined the name New World Order to describe the trio of he, Hall, and Nash and said the trash thrown in the ring represents the fans that disrespected him (Bash at the Beach 96 – 7/7/96; Daytona Beach, FL)
– WCW World Champion Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, & the nWo Sting (w/ Ted Dibiase) defeated Sting, Lex Luger, WCW US Champion Ric Flair, & Arn Anderson in Wargames at 18:18 when referees Nick Patrick and Randy Anderson called for the bell after Luger became caught in the nWo Sting’s Scorpion Deathlock as Hogan had Luger in a choke; order of entry: Hall, Anderson, Nash, Luger, Hogan, Flair, nWo Sting, and Sting; the participants remained backstage until they were officially in the match; upon his entrance, Sting single-handedly laid out the nWo before walking out on his team for them not believing him; after the match, Luger crawled in the aisle, calling for Sting, until he was attacked by the nWo; moments later, Flair and Anderson brawled with the nWo as Randy Savage cornered Hogan in the ring; moments later, the Giant arrived and twice dropped Savage with the chokeslam, with Miss Elizabeth appearing and begging Hogan to leave Savage alone; as Elizabeth covered Savage’s body, Hogan spraypainted “NWO” across her back; Hogan then cut an in-ring promo calling Savage and Elizabeth trash and spitting on Elizabeth; the nWo then continued to stomp Savage before the Giant spraypainted “NWO” on his back and again dropped him with the chokeslam; moments later, the nWo took over the commentary position, scaring off the commentary team, with Dibiase saying he had made some demands to WCW and, because of the Wargames win, intended to see them come true; the trainer and Elizabeth then helped Savage from the ring as the show came to a close (Fall Brawl96 – 9/15/96; Winston-Salem, NC)

– Andre the Giant pinned Hulk Hogan (w/ Freddie Blassie) at 7:48 with a bodyslam and splash and a fast count from the referee; Hogan visibly kicked out at 2 but the referee didn’t notice (8/9/80; Shea Stadium)
– Bob Backlund (w/ Hulk Hogan) defeated Samula (w/ Afa, Sika, & Capt. Lou Albano) via disqualification at 4:34 when the Samoans and Albano attacked Backlund as he applied the Crossface Chicken Wing to his opponent; the bout was to have been Backlund and his mystery partner against the Samoans but Albano refused to the match, instead making it a one-on-one encounter; early in the match, the Samoans tried double teaming Backlund, with Backlund then going backstage and returning with Hogan; after the contest, Hogan and Backlund cleared the ring of the four other men; moments later, Gene Okerlund conducted an interview with Backlund & Hogan in which Backlund said Hogan had changed his ways, with Hogan then thanking Backlund and the fans for bringing him back to the WWF (1/3/84; Allentown, PA)
– Hulk Hogan pinned WWF World Champion the Iron Sheik (w/ Freddie Blassie) at 5:40 with the legdrop to win the title after ramming the champion back-first against the turnbuckle to escape the Camel Clutch; after the bout, Gene Okerlund interviewed the new champion backstage in which he was congratulated by Andre the Giant, Rocky Johnson, and Ivan Putski (Hogan’s return to MSG after a nearly 3-year absense) (1/23/84; Madison Square Garden)
– WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan defeated Paul Orndorff (w/ Bobby Heenan) via disqualification at 11:05 after Heenan hit Hogan over the head with a wooden stool as the champion had Orndorff set up for the piledriver; the decision of the match was not made clear until several moments thereafter as Orndorff covered the champion and the referee, who had been knocked out, tapped his shoulder three times before calling for the bell; after the bout, Orndorff put the belt on and attacked the champion but Hogan eventually sent him to the floor with a boot to the face (8/28/86; Toronto, Ontario; CNE Stadium)
