Dangerously at the Clash of the Champions; early in the match, Terry Taylor came ringside and then briefly joined the commentary team to discuss his wanting a TV title shot
Michael Hayes & Jimmy Garvin defeated Keith Hart & Jimmy McKinon at 3:43 with simultaneous pinfalls following DDTs on each opponent; during the bout, it was announced Norman would face Sid Vicious the following week
Arn Anderson pinned Terry Taylor at 6:22 with his feet on the ropes for leverage after the momentum of a crossbody by Taylor put Anderson on top

Buddy Lee Parker at 7:07 when Mark pinned Parker following a double tomahawk chop; during the bout, it was announced the following week’s episode would be preempted but the following Sunday at 4:35 p.m. a WCW show would air that would include Sting, Brian Pillman, WCW US Tag Team Champions Rick & Scott Steiner against WCW World Champion Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Barry Windham, & Sid Vicious; it was also announced that Doom would face Tim Horner & Alan Iron Eagle and that Tracy Smothers & Steve Armstrong, Bobby Eaton, and WCW TV Champion Tom Zenk would be in action on The Main Event the following night; after the contest, Paul E. WCW TV Champion Tom Zenk pinned Tom Burke with the missile dropkick at 4:33; after the bout, Dangerously conducted a ringside interview with Zenk regarding the challenges of Anderson, Terry Taylor, and Bobby Eaton; moments later, Eaton appeared and claimed he would take the title at the Clash; Taylor then appeared and claimed he should be wrestling Zenk at the Clash and not Eaton; after Taylor claimed he could beat Eaton anytime, Eaton said he would wrestle Taylor later in the show; moments later, Zenk agreed to give the winner of the match a title shot
Sid Vicious pinned Norman with a legdrop at 3:54 after hitting a double axe handle from the apron to the floor which caused Norman to hit the ringpost head first; prior to the match, Norman came ringside with a yellow ribbon for the soldiers serving in the Middle East; during the bout, Vicious cut an insert promo on his previous attack on Norman while Norman was dressed as Santa Claus

WCW Tag Team Champions Doom (w/ Teddy Long) defeated Ray Diamond & Brian Worley at 4:05 when Butch Reed pinned Diamond with the shoulderblock off the top; during the mach, a video insert aired with Long stating Sting & WCW US Champion Lex Luger would lose to Doom at the Clash of the Champions
The Renegade Warriors defeated Magnum Force at 5:19 when Chris Youngblood pinned #1 with an assisted splash; Paul E. Dangerously joined Jim Ross for commentary on the match

WCW Tag Team Champions Michael Hayes & Jimmy Garvin (w/ Big Daddy Dink) defeated Brad Armstrong & Tim Horner at 5:56 when Garvin pinned Armstrong after Hayes hit a DDT behind the referee’s back as Armstrong had Garvin covered with a roll up; prior to the bout, Diamond Dallas Page escorted Hayes & Garvin to the ring; Page cut an in-ring promo before the match in which he told all the fans Hayes & Garvin would win the titles and they did; Page then introduced Big Daddy Dink, who came out with one of the Diamond Dolls; after the match started, DDP and the Doll returned backstage

Dangerously, & Missy Hyatt in which Hyatt and Dangerously argued over who was supposed to interview Teddy Long later in the show; included Ross & Dangerously on commentary; featured Hyatt conducting an interview with the Junkyard Dog regarding the match the next night at the Omni between Ron Simmons and Butch Reed, during which JYD told the fans to come out and support Simmons; included a segment of the Wrestling Wrap Up hosted by Gordon Solie in which he announced WCW US Tag Team Champions Rick & Scott Steiner had defeated WCW Tag Team Champions Michael Hayes & Jimmy Garvin and now held both titles, with footage of the match then airing; Solie then said a potential tournament might need to be held to determine the next US tag team champions as the Steiners couldn’t hold both championships at the same time; featured Ross conducting a ringside interview with Buddy Landell regarding his association with the York Foundation, with Landell saying he would hold a press conference when he officially signs with them; Landell then thanked Missy and Jason Hervey for buying him lunch in Los Angeles the other day; after Landell left, Missy told Ross the director said she could be part of the Danger Zone later in the show, with Dangerously then threatening to slap her if she showed up; included Long as a guest of the Danger Zone, with Missy interrupting to ask what Long’s plans were for Simmons; Long replied by saying Simmons cost him a lot of money with Dangerously then showing Long footage of Missy’s interview with Simmons the previous week; as Long began to insult Missy for her comments, Simmons walked out with Long then running backstage; featured footage of Nikita Koloff in training for his return to the ring against WCW US Champion Lex Luger:

Larry Zbyszko pinned Tim Parker with a piledriver at 8:00; during the match, it was noted there would be no episode of The Main Event the following night but the following week Zbyszko would face Sting on the show
Tracy Smothers & Steve Armstrong defeated Lou Fabiano & Dave Johnson at 6:45 when Smothers pinned Johnson following the flying back elbow off the top as Armstrong held Johnson in the air; during the bout, Smothers & Armstrong cut an insert promo on being at the Omni the next night
