1/4/86 – featured an opening clip showing Dusty Rhodes, NWA US Champion Magnum TA, and the Road Warriors brawling with the Horsemen, taped 1/1/86 at the Omni; hosted by Tony Schiavone & David Crockett, with the two announcing Rhodes was the new National Heavyweight Champion and National Tag Team Champion Ole Anderson had been sidelined with a serious leg injury; NWA TV Champion Tully Blanchard and JJ Dillon then appeared, with Blanchard saying Dillon had been hired by Tully Blanchard Enterprises to be his associate and saying what Rhodes did to Ole in Atlanta was out of line; Dillon then told Crockett not to mention the name Baby Doll; included Schiavone conducting an interview with Blanchard and Dillon about Baby Doll, with Blanchard saying he gave her everything and she turned her back on him; following the commercial break, Dillon said he had severed all ties with other wrestlers to work with Tully Blanchard Enterprises and there was a plot to take out the Four Horsemen; Dillon said they had their own plan to fight back against Rhodes and their first target was Jimmy Valiant; the two then reviewed footage from the previous week’s Worldwide of Blanchard arguing with Baby Doll, hitting her, and grabbing her by the hair before Rhodes came out to protect her and run Blanchard and Dillon away; Rhodes then said, “She don’t belong to you, she belongs to me now;” Blanchard, back in the studio, then said he would take out Valiant and Rhodes’ National Heavyweight Title; featured an ad promoting the Starrcade 85 VHS; included Schiavone conducting an interview with NWA Six-Man Tag Team Champion Ivan Koloff about the challenge of Dusty Rhodes, the Road Warriors, and chasing NWA Tag Team Champions Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson; he then added that NWA Six-Man Tag Team Champion Nikita Koloff would soon take the NWA US Title from Magnum TA; featured Schiavone conducting an interview with Rhodes, with Baby Doll, in which he talked about injuring Ole; footage was then shown of Rhodes & the Road Warriors facing the Horsemen at the Omni and Dusty twice coming off the top onto Ole’s leg before applying the figure-4; Rhodes went on to say Baby Doll wasn’t his valet but she was with him, with Baby Doll saying she would pay Blanchard back for slapping her; included the announcement Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Bill Apter would join the show beginning the following week for a special weekly Scouting Report segment; featured Schiavone conducting an interview with Harley Race about facing Magnum that night in Greensboro and Flair in a steel cage match in St. Louis; included Schiavone conducting an interview with Flair about the injury to Ole, Rhodes’ comments earlier in the broadcast, and said he never liked Baby Doll to begin with; Flair went on to say there was a night in Philadelphia that Baby Doll begged to ride Space Mountain but he sent her back to Blanchard’s hotel room; featured Schiavone conducting an interview with Rhodes and Baby Doll about Flair throwing a fit earlier in the show, with Rhodes saying Arn was next and Blanchard better not speak about Baby Doll anymore; included Schiavone conducting an interview with Valiant about the comments made about him earlier in the show by Blanchard & Dillon; featured Schiavone conducting a closing interview with Magnum about what happened to him earlier in the show at the hands of the Barbarian and Harley Race:

The Road Warriors (w/ Paul Ellering) defeated Gene Ligon, Mark Hawk, & Josh Stroud in a handicap match at the 32-second mark when Road Warrior Hawk pinned one opponent with a clothesline as Road Warrior Animal pinned another after his own clothesline; following the commercial break, Tony Schiavone conducted an interview with the Road Warriors and Ellering about the injury to Ole Anderson, the challenge of NWA Six-Man Tag Team Champions Krusher Kruschev, Ivan & Nikita Koloff, and finding their own third partner to face them
Manny Fernandez pinned Larry Clark with the flying forearm at 4:27; during the bout, David Crockett said they would soon host a contest to offer fans to send in their ideas of matches they would want to see and those matches would take place Feb. 7 on TBS
National Tag Team Champion Arn Anderson pinned Kent Glover with the gordbuster at 2:48; following the match, Tony Schiavone reviewed footage with Anderson and NWA World Champion Ric Flair of National Tag Team Champion Ole Anderson’s injury at the Omni and the ropes having to be removed so Ole could be helped out of the ring and put on a stretcher; moments later, Baby Doll walked out and told Arn that he was next, leading to Flair throwing a tantrum and Arn saying women were only around to make dinner and babies
Jimmy Valiant pinned Adrian Bivens with the elbow drop at 1:11; prior to the bout, Valiant came out with several balloons and gave them to a young fan in the crowd; Tully Blanchard and JJ Dillon joined the commentary team for the bout; after the contest, Blanchard and Dillon discussed the friends of National Heavyweight Champion Dusty Rhodes like Valiant and NWA US Champion Magnum TA, with Blanchard saying they would all be eliminated until it came down to just Rhodes
Dennis Condrey (w/ Jim Cornette) pinned Rocky King with a brainbuster at 5:09; prior to the bout, Cornette joined Tony Schiavone and bragged about his Pro Wrestling Illustrated Manager of the Year award before reviewing footage of he, Bobby Eaton & Condrey recently beating NWA Tag Team Champion Ricky Morton with his tennis racquet; Cornette joined the commentary team during the match; during the contest, Tony Schiavone read happy anniversary messages to two fans that had been married 64 years
NWA US Champion Magnum TA fought the Barbarian (w/ Paul Jones) to a no contest at around the 12-minute mark; Harley Race joined the commentary team for the bout; late in the match, the referee was knocked to the floor, with Race then climbing into the ring and counting a pinfall for the Barbarian after Jones struck Magnum in the throat with his cane; moments later, Magnum attacked Race before he was double teamed and sustained a headbutt off the top rope from both the Barbarian and Race; Jones then assaulted Magnum with his cane until Jimmy Valiant, NWA Tag Team Champions Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson ran out to make the save; after the match, Race spoke with the commentary team and noted Magnum attacked him and not the other way around; after Race left, the Road Warriors and Paul Ellering came out for their scheduled interview time and dared someone to do to them like what was just done to Magnum; they then discussed their feud with NWA Six-Man Tag Team Champions Krusher Kruschev, Ivan & Nikita Koloff; Road Warrior Hawk then gave Schiavone a T-shirt that read ‘Weasel Slapper’ in reference to what they would do to the Russians

Sam Houston pinned Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion & NWA Six-Man Tag Team Champion Krusher Kruschev (w/ NWA Six-Man Tag Team Champions Ivan & Nikita Koloff) to win the title at 11:40 when, after the Road Warriors appeared ringside during the final moments and attacked the Koloffs, Road Warrior Animal threw Houston back into the ring onto Krushev and held Krushev’s foot down during the cover; once the Road Warriors appeared ringside, the champion tossed Houston over the top rope behind the referee’s back; after the contest, National Heavyweight Champion Dusty Rhodes and NWA US Champion Magnum TA aided the Road Warriors and Paul Ellering in clearing the Russians from ringside; moments later, Tony Schiavone conducted an interview with the Road Warriors and Ellering, in possession of the Russians’ own chain

10/25/86 – 60-minute episode; included an opening clip of the Horsemen following NWA TV Champion Dusty Rhodes’ car in Charlotte and attacking him outside the Jim Crockett Promotions offices; hosted by Tony Schiavone & David Crockett, with an update that Magnum TA was doing well in recovery and teased some of the biggest news in professional wrestling history later in the show; Schiavone then spoke with Brad Armstrong, who said he was excited to be part of Starrcade either as a singles wrestler or tagging with Tim Horner; featured Schiavone conducting an interview with Jimmy Valiant about his hair vs. hair match at Starrcade against Paul Jones, with Big Mama’s hair also at stake; included Schiavone conducting an interview with Jim Crockett Jr. about Magnum’s condition, with Crockett thanking fans for their support, asking them not to call the Charlotte Memorial Hospital, but then providing an address where fans could send cards and letters; featured a Starrcade Control Center segment in which Schiavone noted the Road Warriors were on their way back after the attack from Bobby Eaton & Dennis Condrey and introduced a training montage of the Road Warriors set to ‘Iron Man;’ Paul Ellering and the Road Warriors then cut a promo outside the gym in which they said they had a surprise for Jim Cornette, Eaton & Condrey at Starrcade; Schiavone then introduced a video of Ellering and the Road Warriors at a construction site, with the Road Warriors saying their match at Starrcade would be called the Night of the Skywalkers; Road Warriors Hawk & Road Warrior Animal then scaled a scaffold at the construction site and threw pumpkins that had ‘Loverboy’ and ‘Bobby’ off the scaffold until they exploded on the ground; Crockett Jr. then announced that Manny Fernandez would be allowed ringside for the Valiant vs. Jones match but he would be in a small cage 30 feet in the air; he then added that Rhodes would face Tully Blanchard in a first blood match, which would not be sanctioned by the NWA but Crockett would still present the contract to Rhodes due to the heated rivalry; included the full video, taped Oct. 18 in Charlotte, of a paid cameraman filming as Blanchard, Dillon, Arn & Ole Anderson followed Rhodes into the JCP offices parking lot in Charlotte and attacked him getting out of his car, choked him with a baseball bat, tied him to a truck, and then assaulted Rhodes’ arm with a baseball bat; the actual impact of the bat was not shown, and the resulting injury was blacked out; the final comments on the video were Dillon saying they would see Rhodes the following night at the Charlotte Coliseum; Schiavone & Crockett then introduced footage from that night at the Philadelphia Civic Center of Rhodes bringing NWA US Champion Nikita Koloff to the ring with him to assault JJ Dillon and Ole Anderson in a steel cage, with Blanchard watching on from outside the ring and NWA World Champion Ric Flair then coming out and pointing and yelling at Koloff; following the commercial break, a pretaped segment aired in which Rhodes, with Koloff, discussed his coming together with Nikita in the wake of Magnum’s injury, with Rhodes saying he didn’t have to explain his actions to anyone by picking Koloff but it had been a hard week, Koloff called him, and they talked for hours; Rhodes said he didn’t believe everything that Koloff believed that Koloff didn’t believe everything Rhodes did but they found common ground; Koloff then said he was in Japan and didn’t hear about Magnum’s injury until he returned, adding he learned to respect Magnum; featured a segment in which Cornette, with Big Bubba, confronted Schiavone and complained about his team having to face the Road Warriors in a scaffold match at Starrcade:
