Brian Pillman pinned Marcus Alexander Bagwell at 4:28 when Pillman landed on top as both men attempted crossbody blocks; after the match, Pillman helped Bagwell to his feet
WCW World Champion Hulk Hogan (w/ Jimmy Hart) defeated Kamala (w/ Kevin Sullivan) via disqualification in a non-title match at 4:36 when Zodiac & the Shark interfered; after the bout, WCW US Champion Sting and Randy Savage made the save; Michael Buffer provided the ring introductions; Hogan wore white tribal face paint for the match; after the match, Okerlund interviewed Hogan, Sting, & Savage, who officially declared war on the Dungeon of Doom 9/3/95:
