The Shockmaster pinned Chris Sullivan at 1:28 with the bearhug into a powerslam
Paul Orndorff & Paul Roma (w/ the Assassin) defeated Bryan Armstrong & Scott Studd at 3:34 when Roma pinned Armstrong with one hand on his chest after a powerslam and splash off the top; after the bout, Tony Schiavone conducted a ringside interview with the Assassin, Orndorff & Roma about their tainted win the previous night on WCW Saturday Night as a result of the Assassin’s interference; after the Assassin said Orndorff & Roma simply outwrestled Marcus Alexander Bagwell & 2 Cold Scorpio, Bagwell & Scorpio walked out with Teddy Long, with Long saying his goal for the team was to regain the WCW Tag Team Titles and they would go though Orndorff & Roma to do it; Bagwell then issued a challenge for a rematch the following Saturday, with the two teams then brawling into the ring until Scorpio & Bagwell cleared Orndorff & Roma to the floor
Tex Slazenger & Shanghai Pierce defeated Keith & Kent Cole at 5:43 when Shanghai pinned Kent after Slazenger dropped Kent with a reverse DDT behind the referee’s back
Tom Zenk pinned Bryant Anderson with the superkick at 4:14; prior to the match, Tony Schiavone conducted a ringside interview with Diamond Dallas Page, alongside one of the Diamond Dolls, before he picked a random wrestler’s name out of the fish bowl to face; Page then noted there were no names written on the pieces of paper in the fish bowl and blamed the mistake on Zenk, who was already in the ring ready for his match; Page then ran in the ring and attacked Zenk before the match began; during the contest, it was noted Bryant was Ole Anderson’s son; after the contest, Schiavone conducted a ringside interview with Zenk about his win and the altercation with Page, with Zenk saying he would face DDP anywhere and any time
WCW US Champion Steve Austin (w/ Col. Rob Parker) pinned Larry Santo at 1:20 with the Stun Gun; Parker served as Austin’s ring announcer for the match; during the contest, it was announced 2 Cold Scorpio & Marcus Alexander Bagwell would face Paul Orndorff & Paul Roma the following week on WCW Saturday Night; after the bout, Austin threw Santo out of the ring; moments later, Brian Pillman ran out, sent Austin to the floor with a dropkick, and then, with the help of Dustin Rhodes, briefly cornered Parker with the head of a chicken suit before Parker escaped to the floor; Tony Schiavone then conducted a ringside interview with Parker & Austin about the attack, with Austin saying he and WCW International World Champion Rick Rude would gladly face Rhodes & Pillman on the following week’s show and that he and Parker had a surprise for Pillman in the chicken suit match 1/3/94; Gainesville, GA; Georgia Mountains Center
