WCW TV Championship Tournament Quarter-Finals: Paul Orndorff pinned Cactus Jack at 6:01 by grabbing the tights for leverage after causing Cactus to fall off the top rope and further injure his left knee

Ricky Steamboat fought Lord Steven Regal (w/ Sir William) to a time-limit draw at 10:02 as Steamboat had Regal down in a backslide; after the commercial break, Tony Schiavone interviewed Regal & William at ringside in which Regal said he could have beaten Steamboat at any time but was just using the match as a workout; moments later, Steamboat came back out and challenged Regal to a rematch for the following week; after Regal said he was too busy for a rematch, Steamboat slapped him twice with a pair of gloves, prompting Regal to accept the challenge
