1/3/13 – featured an opening in-ring segment in which Jeremy Borash stood beside the Wrestler of the Year trophy and brought out the five finalists – Bully Ray, James Storm, Austin Aries, Bobby Roode, and TNA World Champion Jeff Hardy – before announcing Hardy as the winner; Hardy then walked past Aries and Roode, who were on their way to the ring, assuming they had won the award, and into the ring to accept the award; moments later, Roode interrupted Hardy and said Hardy said it was just as important an award as holding the world title but when he was world champion Roode put nothing above the world title; Roode then took exception to not being Wrestler of the Year, with Aries then saying the award was rigged and he was the most deserving of the award; Hardy then said he would face both men at Genesis, with both men jumping him before Aries accidentally hit Roode with the trophy and Hardy then hit the Twist of Fate on Aries; included a backstage segment in which Storm discussed his year in 2012, with Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian coming in and doing their own impression of Storm; Storm then made fun of their social media accounts before spitting in Daniels’ appletini; featured a backstage segment in which TNA TV Champion Devon, alongside Aces & Eights, asked Mr. Anderson if he was interested in joining the group; DOC then said they needed to know right now, since Sting was coming back later in the night; Anderson then implied he was with them; Devon then went looking for his missing baseball bat; included a backstage segment in which Kenny King and Kid Kash discussed possibly facing each other in the finals of the tournament to determine the next challenger for TNA X Division Champion Rob Van Dam; featured a video package recapping the history between Sting and Aces & Eights; included an in-ring segment in which Doc came out with a hammer, given to him by Anderson, and called out Sting; when Sting didn’t appear, he said “This is bullshit, Sting” (“bullshit” was censored) and told him to come out so he could cripple him; moments later, a baseball bat was dropped into the ring, with DOC then yelling for him to appear; featured backstage comments from Brooke Hogan about her speaking to her father since Hulk spotted her kissing Bully Ray; included backstage comments from TNA Tag Team Champions Chavo Guerrero Jr. & Hernandez in which they said they weren’t scared of Joey Ryan & Matt Morgan; featured a backstage segment in which Kurt Angle spoke with Wes Brisco and Garett Bischoff and said he and Samoa Joe could handle their own and Brisco and Bischoff should stay backstage for their upcoming steel cage match; Angle and Joe then discussed unmasking all of the Aces & Eights members; included an in-ring segment in which Hulk said he had to take the previous week off after catching Bully and Brooke making out two weeks earlier and then called them both out to the ring; Hogan then said Bully should have come to him earlier, with Bully agreeing; Hogan responded by saying Bully didn’t even belong in the business and said Ray was suspended indefinitely without pay; Hulk then told Brooke to “get the hell out of my ring, too,” with Bully and Brooke then leaving the ring together; featured an ad promoting the Road to Lockdown tour; included a video on Joseph Park training at OVW, with comments from Danny Davis who said Park impressed him; Park then discussed dedicating himself to learning the craft; included an ad promoting Lockdown tickets on sale; featured a backstage segment in which DOC addressed the other members of Aces and said they needed to protect their masks from the likes of Angle; included backstage comments from TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion ODB in which she discussed the injury to TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion Eric Young from Aces & Eights and his recovery; featured a backstage segment in which Aries and Roode argued about the triple threat match at Genesis, with Hogan saying the match was on and it would be an elimination match; Hogan then said Aries & Roode would face Hardy & a partner the following week:

TNA Tag Team Champion Hernandez (w/ TNA Tag Team Champion Chavo Guerrero Jr.) defeated Joey Ryan (w/ Matt Morgan, his arm in a sling) (sub. for Morgan) via disqualification at the 56-second mark when Morgan attacked Hernandez; during their entrance, Morgan said he suffered an injury in the gym but would be ready for Genesis, then said Ryan would wrestle on his behalf; early in the match, Morgan took off his sling to reveal his injury was fake; after the match, Morgan attacked Guerrero as well
Brooke Tessmacher & Mickie James defeated TNA Knockouts Champion Tara (w/ Jesse Godderz) & Gail Kim at 13:10 when Mickie pinned Kim with the DDT; Taryn Terrell was the referee for the match
Kurt Angle & Samoa Joe defeated TNA TV Champion Devon & a masked Aces & Eights member in a steel cage match at 11:45 when Angle pinned the masked man with the Angle Slam; Angle was attacked before the match by DOC, who slammed the cage door on his head and locked him out of the cage, causing Joe to wrestle the majority of the bout 1-on-2; at the 9-minute mark, Angle attacked DOC and unlcoked the cage door to join the match; after the contest, DOC joined in attacking Joe and Angle, with other members of Aces & Eights then entering the ring as well; Mr. Anderson was then seen standing ringside, watching the fight inside the cage; moments later, Sting walked out with a baseball bat and attacked all the Aces & Eights members until they fled the cage; one remaining member was triple teamed by Sting, Angle, and Joe until he was unmasked; the commentary team revealed the man as Mike Knox from the WWE as Sting, Joe, and Angle celebrated in the ring (Sting’s return)

Brooke Tessmacher & Robbie T (w/ Robbie E) defeated TNA Knockouts Champion Tara & Jesse Godderz at 1:48 when T pinned Godderz with a powerbomb; Taryn Terrell was the referee for the match; after the contst, T and Brooke did a dance routine in the ring, ending with T kissing Brooke

TNA World Champion Jeff Hardy & James Storm defeated Austin Aries & Bobby Roode via disqualification at 13:32 when Aries hit Hardy in the back of the head with the title belt as Hardy attempted the Twist of Fate on Roode; late in the match, Storm fought with Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian at ringside, and then all the way to the back; after the match, Hardy was double teamed before Aries & Roode both held up the world title belt
Kurt Angle fought Mr. Anderson to a no contest; following the entrances and Anderson refusing to get in the ring, Angle took the mic and questioned when Anderson became a bitch; moments later, the unmasked Aces & Eights man slid in the ring and hit Angle three times with a hammer; moments later, Wes Brisco & Garett Bischoff ran out to tend to Angle as the rest of Aces & Eights came out to watch; medics and Samoa Joe then tended to Angle and he was taken backstage on a stretcher and taken backstage; Sting then came out, took the mic, and challenged “Knox” to face him in the ring with neither TNA or Aces & Eights members at ringside
Sting pinned Knox with the Scorpion Death Drop at 3:27; prior to the bout, Sting hit his opponent once with his baseball bat before referee Earl Hebner took it from him; after the contest, Sting struck Knox with his own hammer; moments later, TNA TV Champion Devon and Aces & Eights dragged out Brooke Hogan, who they had kidnapped, and said “Shut up, bitch” when she tried to speak; Bully Ray then ran out with a chain and rescued Brooke, with the group then retreating backstage; Hulk Hogan then appeared at the entrance stage; following the commercial break, Hogan, Sting, Bully, and Brooke were in the ring, with Hulk blaming Bully for putting Brooke in harm’s way in the first place; Bully then said Hogan was crazy and detailed his 20 years in the industry; Bully said he didn’t love anything more than wrestling, until Brooke came into his life; Bully then got down on one knee, said he loved Brooke and wanted to marry her; Brook then said yes and kissed Bully, with Bully saying he wanted to do it in the ring the following week; the two then kissed as Hulk left the ring

TNA World Champion Jeff Hardy & James Storm defeated Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian in an impromptu match at 11:55 when Hardy pinned Kazarian with the Twist of Fate; after the bout, Daniels jumped Hardy from behind and hit the Angel’s Wings onto Hardy’s personal belt; Daniels then took the TNA belt, put it on his shoulder, and then laid on top of Hardy
Kenny King pinned Christian York at 2:53 with a roll up and grabbing the tights for leverage after an eye gouge; following the bout, Taz left the commentary table to help Bully Ray get ready for his wedding
Velvet Sky pinned Gail Kim with the In Your Face facebuster at 5:54; stipulations stated the winner would be the #1 contender to the TNA Knockouts Title; Taryn Terrell was the referee for the match

Magnus defeated TNA TV Champion Devon via disqualification at 5:13 in a non-title match when DOC & Mike Knox interfered; prior to the bout, Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian, wearing kilts and blue face paint, took the mic and said for Throwback Thursday they were paying tribute to the Scots of the 13th century; Daniels then said TNA World Champion Jeff Hardy’s face paint was toxic and that was why Hardy beat him the previous week but he would eventually take the belt, defend it in England, and easily beat the English; moments later, Magnus interrupted, made fun of Daniels & Kazarian and called them “disrespectful muppets” before challenging them; the two then double teamed Magnus before he cleared them of the ring; Magnus then took the mic and said the priviledge of wrestling in front of the fans was taken from him at the hands of Aces & Eights, and then challenged TNA TV Champion Devon to an immediate match; Devon did not come out in possession of the title belt; after the bout, Magnus cleared the ring of the Aces members
Joseph Park pinned Robbie E (w/ Robbie T) in an impromptu match with a splash from the middle turnbuckle at 3:32; prior to the match, Park cut an in-ring promo about studying his chosen opponent, with Robbie E, alongside Robbie T, interrupting; as Park told E that he didn’t pick him, E insulted Park and the UK fans before realizing he offended Robbie T; E said T was basically an American anyway; E then challenged Park to a match, with Park accepting
Austin Aries (w/ Bobby Roode) pinned TNA Tag Team Champion Chavo Guerrero Jr. (w/ TNA Tag Team Champion Hernandez) at 10:30 with the running dropkick in the corner and brainbuster as Hernandez fought with Roode on the floor; prior to the bout, Aries cut an in-ring promo in which he said he and Roode were finally on the same page and were after all the titles, starting with the easiest to get; Roode followed by saying the tag team champions and the fans were nothing but wankers, with the champions then interrupting and Chavo saying Aries & Roode weren’t even a real team; the two teams then agreed to a singles match, with Aries & Roode earning a tag team title shot if they won
James Storm & Velvet Sky defeated Jessie Godderz & TNA Knockouts Champion Tara in an impromptu match at 3:51 when Velvet pinned Tara with the In Your Face; following her entrance, Velvet took the mic and called out Tara and Jessie, then adding she had herself a tag team partner; Taryn Terrell was the referee for the match
Kurt Angle (w/ Wes Brisco) defeated Mr. Anderson in a steel cage match at 15:19 via submission with the ankle lock into the heel hook; late in the bout, there were chants of “This is awesome;” after the bout, a masked Aces & Eights member scaled the cage as Brisco entered the cage, then locked it back up under Angle’s direction; the masked man then revealed he was Garett Bischoff, with Birsco attacking Angle from behind and the two double teaming Kurt as the crowd chanted “We want Sting”

TNA Knockouts Champion Mickie James pinned Gail Kim with a roll up at 7:05, moments after Gail slapped referee ODB in the face; prior to the bout, Velvet Sky came out, took the mic, said she made a mistake by allowing Mickie to know about her injury, and would be ringside to see Mickie and Gail fight; after the contest, Gail and ODB went face to face before Brooke Hogan walked out and reminded Gail that ODB was a member of the active roster; ODB then took off her referee shirt as Kim left the ring
