ROH Tag Team Champion Jimmy Jacobs defeated Jack Evans (w/ Mercedes Martinez) via submission with the End Time at 7:36; following his entrance, Jacobs cut an in-ring promo in which he said the Age of the Fall took the tag team titles as they said they would; he continued his promo until Evans came out, with Jacobs continuing his promo during Evans’ entrance and then attacking Evans with the mic; after the bout, Jacobs kept the hold applied, with Martinez and Julius Smokes getting in the ring to try to pull Jacobs away; ROH Tag team Champion Tyler Black, Necro Butcher, and Lacey then appeared and laid out Smokes, Martinez, and – when he tried to make the save as well – Jigsaw; moments later, Mark & Jay Briscoe ran out to clear the ring of the Age of the Fall

Featured an opening backstage segment in which Rebecca Bayless walked into the dressing room of the Vulture Squad to find Julius Smokes getting Ruckus, Jigsaw, & Mercedes Martinez ready for the show; included an in-ring promo by ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness in which he said Bryan Danielson was reckless, didn’t care what he did to himself, and certainly didn’t care what he did to McGuinness, prompting a chant of “Best in the world” and “You’re gonna get your fucking head kicked in;” McGuinness responded by saying he needed to put his health and the health of the company first, adding there was a pay-per-view the next month in Philadelphia that he needed to headline and he couldn’t do it if he was hurt and that he didn’t know if it was in his best interest to wrestle later in the show; Danielson then interrupted from the entrance, talked about the prestige of the title, noted ROH didn’t have 40 years of history or TV to “brainwash” people into thinking it was important; he then praised those who had held the title as well as those who worked their entire careers just for a title shot, adding if McGuinness simply gave up the belt he would be disrespecting all of those men; Danielson then said he was willing not to use his elbow strikes or kick his head in if that’s what it took to get the scheduled match later in the night, with McGuinness agreeing to the stipulation; as the champion left the ring, the crowd chanted “You’re a pussy;” featured an in-ring segment of ‘The Larry Sweeney Show,’ in which the crowd chanted “Bobby Dempsey” and “Happy birthday” at Dempsey before Sweeney slapped Dempsey; Sweeney then noted he beat Claudio Castagnoli two months earlier, sending Castagnoli out of the country, before introducing Allison Danger as his guest, to a chant of “Welcome back;” after Danger addressed the crowd, Sweeney confronted her with accusations that she was a backstage slut; after Sweeney said he hoped she brought her kneepads, Danger stole the mic away and talked about building the women’s division since day 1; she went to leave but was then struck from behind and knocked out by Sweeney, who then dragged her into the middle of the ring and told Dempsey it was finally time for him to become a man; when Dempsey refused, Sweeney knocked him out, with Dempsey then falling on top of Allison; Sweeney then stood on Dempsey before saying Sweet & Sour Inc. was starting a hostile takeover of ROH:
Delirious fought Human Tornado to a no contest at 1:44 when Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black, Zach Gowan, alongside Lacey, attacked Tornado; prior to the bout, the two shook hands; late in the match, Tornado began dancing to music while assaulting Delirious; after the match, Lacey slapped Delirious, with Daizee Haze running out and the two women fighting their way to the floor; moments later, Delirious and Tornado cleared the ring
Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black (w/ Zach Gowan) defeated Delirious & Human Tornado at 9:54 when Tornado passed out in Jacobs’ End Time after Black dropped Tornado with a buckle bomb; after the contest, Delirious cleared the ring; after he got to his feet, the crowd chanted for Tornado as Delirious encouraged the chant
Brent Albright (w/ Shane Hagadorn) defeated El Generico via referee stoppage at 13:08 following the half nelson suplex and repeated knee strikes to the head; after the contest, Generico was helped backstage
Kevin Steen defeated Joey Matthews via submission with the Sharpshooter at 11:07; following the ring entrances, Steen mocked the MNM paparazzi “snapshot” pose, prompting a chant of “Johnny Nitro;” Matthews shook the hands of the referee and Steen, attacking Steen during the latter; after the match, Steen extended his hand to Matthews but Matthews refused and left the ring, with Steen then mocking throwing a tantrum
Austin Aries pinned Go Shiozaki with the brainbuster / 450 splash combo at 20:03; after the match, the crowd chanted “ROH” and “Austin Aries;” Shiozaki then extended his hand to Aries, with Aries slapping it away and raising his own hands in victory; Shiozaki then left the ring as the crowd chanted his name; moments later, the lights went out and a blue spotlight shone on Aries, with Jimmy Jacobs appearing in the balcony with a microphone; Tyler Black then appeared as well, saying what the Age of the Fall was doing was greater than the business and Aries understood; Lacey then appeared in another part of the balcony and said she knew Aries belonged with them; moments later, Tammy Sytch appeared and said she could offer Aries more than the Age of the Fall; Aries responded by saying he would have to think about it and then left the ring; Lacey then cut a promo on Tammy, calling her a filthy whore, with Sytch saying the only reason the fans would want to see Lacey in the ring is if Tammy was in the ring with her

FIP World Champion Roderick Strong fought Erick Stevens to a no contest; the two brawled on the floor for several moments, with Strong bleeding from the chest after a series of chops; moments later, the fight went to the ring, where the referee was knocked down and assaulted by both men; Strong eventually put Stevens’ head in a steel chair and rammed him into the ringpost; Strong then tried to ram the bloody Stevens into a chair set up in the corner, with Stevens instead sending Strong into the chair; moments later, Stevens dropped Strong with a TKO onto the chair, set up in the ring; the two continued to fight for several more minutes, with Strong eventually hitting Stevens in the head with the chair before calling for ROH Tag Team Champions Davey Richards & Rocky Romero to come out; Richards & Romero then held Stevens as Strong cut off his mohawk in the ring, with the No Remorse Corps then leaving the ring

El Generico pinned Jack Evans with the brainbuster on the top turnbuckle at 10:05; prior to the match, the two shook hands and then competed in a dance contest; after the bout, Generico helped Evans to his feet and raised his hand; after Evans left the ring, ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness came out and took a mic, prompting chants of “Fuck you, Nigel;” McGuinness then said he had a message for Kevin Steen, then dropping Generico with a lariat and putting him in an armbar until Steen ran out to clear McGuinness to the floor; moments later, Steen took the mic and said McGuinness said in a recent interview that the fans liked Steen because they could relate to being fat and having zits, with Steen saying part of that was true but they mostly liked him because he called McGuinness on being an asshole; he went on to say ROH would crown its most unlikely world champion at the end of the night (Evans’ return)

Chris Hero & Eddie Edwards (sub. for Bobby Dempsey) (w/ Larry Sweeney & Shane Hagadorn, on crutches) defeated Erick Stevens & Pelle Primeau at 8:54 when Hero pinned Primeau with the Roaring Elbow; following his team’s entrance, Hero took the mic and said he would no longer be viewed as comic relief; Hero then turned his attention to Dempsey, saying he allowed him to exist in his world but that would now end; moments later, after Dempsey said he would do anything to stay in Sweet & Sour Inc., Hero had Dempsey take his shirt off and get on his knees before kicking him in the face; Hero then punched and kicked Dempsey as Sweeney announced that Edwards, the newest member of the group, would replace him in the match and ordered Dempsey to go backstage (Edwards’ debut with the group)
Brent Albright defeated Delirious via submission with the kimura at 12:00; prior to the bout, Larry Sweeney appeared behind Albright in the aisle before Albright ordered him to go backstage; after the match, Sweeney came back out and told Albright to break Delirious’s arm; moments later, Daizee Haze came out to tend to Delirious, with Sweeney telling Albright to break her arm too; eventually, Albright walked away instead of listening to Sweeney’s demands; after Sweeney left the ring, Haze shook Delirious’s hand and gave him a thumbs up before also leaving the ring
Necro Butcher pinned FIP World Champion Roderick Strong in a non-title No DQ match at 14:37 after Erick Stevens interfered and dropped Strong with a powerbomb through a table in the ring; after the bout, Necro briefly celebrated with Strong’s title belt before giving it up to the referee and realizing it was a non-title match
Claudio Castagnoli pinned Kota Ibushi at 15:00 with a boot to the face and the Ricola Bomb; prior to and after the match, the two shook hands; after the contest, the crowd chanted “Please come back” and “Kota” at Ibushi
ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness pinned Kevin Steen at 21:33 by reversing the package piledriver into a backdrop, then holding the ropes for leverage; prior to the bout, McGuinness extended his hand to Steen, with Steen blowing his nose into it; McGuinness responded with a slap, with Steen blowing his nose into his own hand and then giving his own slap back; immediately after the fall, El Generico came out to dispute the decision, with the crowd chanting “Bullshit;” moments later, Steen argued the decision with Cary Silkin at ringside, during which he threw chairs around until Jigsaw, officials, Claudio Castagnoli, and others took him backstage; McGuinness then called out Castagnoli, who joined the champion in the ring; Castagnoli then cut a promo saying McGuinness has to cheat to win but Castagnoli’s European uppercuts were much better than Nigel’s; Castagnoli went on to say they both had a lot in common and then challenged Nigel to a title shot on May 10 at the Hammerstein Ballroom; backstage cameras then captured Steen still being held back by officials and wrestlers; in the ring, McGuinness said Castagnoli didn’t deserve a title shot and he hadn’t proven anything to him; McGuinness then told Castagoli to go to hell as he left the ring

Tyler Black, Joey Matthews, & Zach Gowan (sub. for Jimmy Jacobs) (w/ Allison Wonderland) defeated Jack Evans, Ruckus, & Jigsaw at 11:40 when Black pinned Evans with a buckle bomb and God’s Last Gift; after the bout, Jacobs came out and asked the rest of the Age of the Fall to leave the ring, then taking a mic and saying Austin Aries crushed his heart and broke his soul for taking Lacey from him; Jacobs then challenged Aries to come out and fight him then and there, with Aries running out and the two brawling; moments later, Aries jumped off the top rope as the remainder of the AOTF attempted to interfere; Aries was eventually beaten down by the entire group; eventually, Jacobs pulled out his spike as Aries was held, then acted as though he would slit Aries’ throat; Lacey then ran out to try to talk Jacobs out of it, with Jacobs grabbing her by the hair and yelling, “I should kill you!”; Jacobs then dropped the spike and fell to his knees before leaving the ring, with a confused AOTF leaving Aries and going off to console Jacobs; Aries and Lacey then stood in the ring together
ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness pinned Kevin Steen at 18:08 with the jawbreaker lariat and grabbing the tights for leverage, moments after an eye gouge to the challenger; during McGuinness’s entrance, Steen kicked the champion below the belt, took the title belt, and posed with it on the top rope; late in the contest, the champion knocked Steen off the apron and through a table set up on the floor

FIP World Champion Erick Stevens fought Go Shiozaki (w/ Larry Sweeney & Shane Hagadorn) to a 15-minute time-limit draw in a non-title match; prior to the match, Shiozaki refused to shake Stevens’ hand; the bell rang just as Shiozaki dropped Stevens with a superplex; after the match, the crowd chanted “Five more minutes” and “Bullshit;” Stevens then took the mic and said the crowd deserved better than a draw and he too wanted five more minutes, with Sweeney saying Shiozaki was paid to wrestle a 15-minute match and the crowd would have to chip in to see him wrestle longer; the crowd then chanted “Fuck you, Sweeney” before Lance Storm walked out, took the mic, and said he came to see the best lockerroom bust their ass, not hear Sweeney talk; Storm then said there were other companies to work for if Sweeney was in it only for the money; Sweeney then said he was a huge fan of Storm, distracting him to allow for Chris Hero to run out and jump Storm from behind; Stevens and Storm were then double teamed by Shiozaki & Hero before eventually being locked in the half crab, by both Storm and Stevens; moments later, Stevens rolled Hagadorn into the ring, who then sustained a superkick from Storm (Storm’s surprise debut)
Bryan Danielson pinned Claudio Castagnoli at 21:27 by blocking a European uppercut and using a backslide; the crowd chanted “Best in the World” at Danielson upon his entrance and “You’re gonna get your fucking head kicked in” at Castagnoli; the two men shook hands before the match; after the match, the crowd chanted “That was awesome;” moments later, Danielson took the mic, discussed ROH’s debut in Toronto, thanked the fans for their support, and said he wanted to be the first man to challenge Castagnoli should Castagnoli win the ROH World Title the next night in Detroit; Danielson then had a fan join him in the ring who was chanting for him as “Best in the World,” Danielson shook Castagnoli’s hand, and said he did a hell of a job; moments later, Danielson said the fans were deserving of hearing his entrance music a second time, then slapped hands around ringside and thanked the fans for coming out

ROH Tag Team Champions Kevin Steen & El Generico defeated Mark & Jay Briscoe at 6:43 when Steen pinned Mark with a kick to his injured knee and the package piledriver; following their entrance, the Briscoes took the mic and said Steen & Generico beat them in Toronto on a fluke win and they owned them the previous year; after the champions joined them in the ring, Steen took the mic, noted Mark could barely walk, and he and Generico wouldn’t gain anything by beating the Briscoes when they were at 50%; Steen then said the Briscoes had nothing to prove after the Ladder War the two teams had the previous year in the same venue, with the Briscoes jumping them from behind; after the contest, the Briscoes continued fighting with the champinos, with referees and Grizzly Redwood coming out to break up the fight

Austin Aries defeated Jimmy Jacobs (w/ Tyler Black) in an I Quit match at 21:59 when Jacobs submitted as Aries repeatedly stabbed him in the head with Jacobs’ railroad spike; prior to the bout, a video package aired recapping the feud between the two; following his entrance, Aries took the mic and said he didn’t need anyone holding onto his towel and watching his back, then calling Black the “flavor of the month;” Lacey appeared ringside at the 12-minute mark, with a towel for Aries, tied to a steel chair with a chain, but ended up not throwing it in; late in the bout, Black attempted to throw in the towel for Jacobs but Lacey took the towel and left; after the match, Jacobs argued with Black about not throwing in the towel for him, with Black then leaving ringside alone (Lacey’s surprise return)
ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness pinned Bryan Danielson with the jawbreaker lariat at 28:11; the two men shook hands before the bout; following the entrances, the crowd chanted “You’re gonna get your fucking head kicked in” at the champion; there were dueling chants for both men throughout the bout; late in the match, Claudio Castagnoli assaulted Danielson near the entrance, as McGuinness distracted the referee, and used a steel chair; moments later, as Danielson was about to be counted out, Alex Payne came out, carried the bloody Danielson back into the ring, and remained in the challenger’s corner; late in the bout, there were chants of “This is awesome;” after the match, Payne and the referee tended to Danielson in the ring
