Kamala (w/ Friday) pinned Jerry Monti at 3:10 following the splash to the back; after the bout, Kamala continued to attack Monti and went up to the top rope until Friday forced him to leave the ring

Jerry Blackwell & Baron Von Raschke defeated Dennis Stamp & Billy Robinson at 4:53 when Blackwell pinned Stamp with a Samoan Drop as Von Raschke had the claw applied on Robinson; after the match, Resnick conducted an interview with Blackwell & Von Raschke regarding their team and challenging the Road Warriors and NWA Tag Team Champions Ivan & Nikita Koloff; moments later, several young fans celebrated with Blackwell & Von Raschke on their win
AWA World Champion Rick Martel defeated Jimmy Garvin (w/ Precious) via reverse decision; during the bout, it was noted Eddie Einhorn of the Chicago White Sox and Don Rickles were in attendance; Verne Gagne repeatedly said during the bout that it was a match promoters were hoping to sign for the following month’s card at the Meadowlands; Garvin originally won the match and title after hitting Martel over the back of the head with brass knuckles but the referee later found the weapon and changed the call; after the contest, Garvin attacked Martel and threw him to the floor; moments later, the crowd chanted “Bullshit” as Resnick conducted a ringside interview with Garvin, alongside Precious, who was still in possession of the title belt until Resnick took it from him; during the segment, Garvin said he should be the champion and that the weapon was Martel’s all along 1/10/85; Winnipeg, Manitoba; Arena
