9/22/90 – hosted by Tony Schiavone & Dutch Mantell; included a segment of WCW This Week hosted by ?? in which he conducted an interview with Sid Vicious about challenging NWA World Champion Sting at Halloween Havoc and Jim Cornette, who said he wanted Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane to challenge NWA US Tag Team Champions Rick & Scott Steiner at the event; featured a segment of the Wrestling Wrap Up, hosted by Gordon Solie, in which he discussed the upcoming title match at Havoc between Sting and Vicious, along with footage from the Clash of Sting attacking the champion; a pre-taped promo by Sid then aired; included a vignette from the Black Scorpion in which he said Sting was losing confidence and while Sid wanted Sting’s belt, the Scorpion wanted Sting’s life; footage was then shown of Jim Ross conducting an in-ring interview with Sting about the Scorpion, with Sting then spotting the Scorpion in the crowd and going to look for him; featured an ad promoting Halloween Havoc 90; included a pre-taped promo by Master Blasters in which they bragged about being undefeated; featured footage from the 9/22/90 Pro of Brian Pillman & Tom Zenk vs. Ric Flair & NWA TV Champion Arn Anderson, with NWA Tag Team Champions Doom showing up and brawling with Flair & Anderson; included a segment of WCW This Week in which ?? conducted an interview with El Gigante and the Junkyard Dog about their participation at Halloween Havoc and with Sting about facing Vicious; featured the announcement that Vicious and Pillman would be part of the next week’s show, as well as comments from Sting:

Brian Pillman pinned MOD Squad Basher with the springboard clothesline into the ring at 3:16
Michael Hayes & Jimmy Garvin (w/ Little Richard Marley) defeated Joe Cazana & Alex Porteau at 1:55 when Hayes pinned Porteau with the DDT; proir to the bout, Marley did the ring introduction for Hayes & Garvin; during the bout, Hayes & Garvin, with Marley, conducted an insert promo on Tracy Smothers & Steve Armstrong about the new addition to their team (Rocky King’s debut as Little Richard Marley)
Buddy Landell pinned Allen Iron Eagle at 3:02 with a side elbow to the face; following the commercial break, Tony Schiavone conducted an interview with Eagle, who said he had recently graduated college and that was only his third match in the NWA; he then thanked the fans for their support and talked about how excited he was to face the competition of the NWA
Tim Horner & Mike Rotunda defaeted the Nasty Boys via disqualification at 5:12 when Brian Knobs threw Horner over the top rope; after the match, the Nasty Boys double teamed Rotunda until Horner made the save with a chair
NWA Tag Team Champions Doom (w/ Teddy Long) defeated Jim Solomon & Brian Carr at 2:24 when Ron Simmons pinned Carr after a modified Doomsday Device; following the commercial break, Schiavone conducted an interview with Doom and Long about facing the challenge of Ric Flair & NWA TV Champion Arn Anderson 9/17/90; Marietta, GA; Cobb County Civic Center

The Juicer defeated Moondog Rex via reverse decision; Rex initially won the match at 3:10 after hitting him behind the referee’s back with his bone, but Norman came out to tell the referee what happened; during the bout, Buddy Landell and Norman cut insert promos about the Juicer; NWA World Champion Sting briefly joined the commentary team and asked whether anyone had heard anything more from the Black Scorpion; after the match, the voice of the Black Scorpion could be heard in the arena, with Sting then climbing in the ring as the Scorpion continued to goad him, adding he would see him at the Clash of the Champions in Jacksonville 11/24/90: Atlanta, GA; Center Stage Theatre
