Slaughter & Don Kernodle in a no time limit steel cage match to win the titles at around the 33-minute mark when Youngblood pinned Kernodle after Steamboat put his partner on top of Kernodle behind the referee’s back, moments after Slaughter had done the same to put Kernodle on Youngblood; prior to the bout, the champions came out to Bill Conti’s “Gonna Fly Now” and Kernodle wore a T-shirt which read “Greensboro March 13” on the front and “Slaughter Kernodle World Champs” on the back; Sandy Scott was the guest referee for the match; stipulations stated Steamboat & Youngblood would have to break up if they didn’t win the titles

– Dustin Rhodes & Ricky Steamboat (mystery partner) (sub. for Barry Windham) defeated WCW Tag Team Champions Arn Anderson & Larry Zbyzsko to win the titles at 14:48 when Steamboat pinned Anderson with the crossbody off the top, moments after Rhodes hit Anderson with the bulldog; prior to the match, footage was shown of Anderson & Zbyzsko attacking Windham’s hand at Halloween Havoc and of a Rhodes & Windham tag team match which took place after Havoc in which Windham was said to be in a lot of pain due to the injury; upon his entrance, Windham announced he had reconstructive surgery on his hand and wouldn’t be able to compete but then brought out Rhodes’ partner, dressed all in black and with a dragon mask covering his face; moments later, Rhodes revealed the masked man as Steamboat (Steamboat’s surprise return after a 2-year absence)

– Ricky Steamboat & Shane Douglas defeated WCW/NWA Tag Team Champions Dustin Rhodes & Barry Windham to win the titles at 15:54 when Douglas pinned Windham with the belly to belly suplex after the champions began arguing and traded punches; after the bout, Rhodes returned to the ring to apologize to Windham, with Windham attacking Rhodes, hitting a DDT and superplex before he was pulled away by referees; after the commercial break, Ventura conducted a backstage interview with the new champions, during which Windham appeared and laid out both with repeated shots with a steel chair

– Marcus Alexander Bagwell & 2 Cold Scorpio (w/ Teddy Long) defeated WCW Tag Team Champions the Nasty Boys (w/ Missy Hyatt) to win the titles at 14:44 when Bagwell pinned Jerry Saggs when, as Saggs had Bagwell positioned for a powerslam, Scorpio came off with a tackle behind the referee’s back which put Bagwell on top for the win; the commentary was scaled back in the match so that the fans at home could better hear the strategies and bumps in the ring; at the time of the finish, Missy attempted to climb into the ring with a steel chair but Long prevented her from interfering (Long’s surprise debut with Bagwell & Scorpio)
