– Shane Douglas & Johnny Ace defeated the MOD Squad at 8:29 when Ace scored the pin with a roll up after avoiding an elbow drop off the top; prior to the match, Douglas & Ace cut an insert promo on the prestigue of the NWA US Tag Team Titles; during the bout, Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson briefly appeared ringside to scout their potential future opponents in the tournament

– Brian Pillman & Tom Zenk defeated Jack Victory & Rip Morgan (w/ Lord Littlebrook) at 7:45 when Zenk pinned Morgan following an elbow drop behind the referee’s back as Morgan had Zenk covered, moments after Victory did the same move behind the referee’s back to Zenk; prior to the bout, Littlebrook cut an insert promo claiming his team would be the next NWA US Tag Team Champions; during the contest, it was noted Pillman & Zenk would face Michael Hayes & Jimmy Garvin at Wrestle War 90 and the MOD Squad at the upcoming Clash of the Champions

– Michael Hayes & Jimmy Garvin defeated Eddie Gilbert & Tommy Rich at 9:03 when Hayes pinned Rich after Garvin came off the top with a knee to Rich behind the referee’s back as Rich had Hayes covered with the Thesz Press

– Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane (w/ Jim Cornette) defeated Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson at 11:28 when Lane pinned Gibson after Eaton hit Gibson over the head with Cornette’s tennis racquet behind the referee’s back as Gibson had Lane covered with a roll up

– Micahel Hayes & Jimmy Garvin defeated Shane Douglas & Johnny Ace at 8:16 when Garvin pinned Douglas after Hayes punched Douglas behind the referee’s back as he attempted a reverse crossbody from the middle turnbuckle; during the bout, Norman was shown eating in the crowd

– Brian Pillman & Tom Zenk defeated Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane (w/ Jim Cornette) at 7:03 when Pillman pinned Eaton with a crossbody off the top after Eaton missed a Rocket Launcher on Zenk
