All matches took place in Charlotte, NC on January 8, 1984.

– Quarter-Finals

– The Assassins defeated Mark & Jay Youngblood

– Dory Funk Jr. & Jimmy Valiant defeated Ivan Koloff & Ernie Ladd

– The Road Warriors fought Wahoo McDaniel & NWA National Tag Team Champion Buzz Sawyer to a double disqualification at around the 8-minute mark when McDaniel hit the referee moments after the Road Warriors double teamed Sawyer in their corner; after the contest, McDaniel & Sawyer cleared the Road Warriors from the ring before McDaniel attempted to go after the referee a second time

– The Assassins defeated Angelo Mosca Sr. & Jr.

– Bob Orton Jr. & Don Kernodle defeated David & Kevin Von Erich
