– Sam Houston pinned Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion & NWA Six-Man Tag Team Champion Krusher Kruschev (w/ NWA Six-Man Tag Team Champions Ivan & Nikita Koloff) to win the title at 11:40 when, after the Road Warriors appeared ringside during the final moments and attacked the Koloffs, Road Warrior Animal threw Houston back into the ring onto Krushev and held Krushev’s foot down during the cover; once the Road Warriors appeared ringside, the champion tossed Houston over the top rope behind the referee’s back; after the contest, National Heavyweight Champion Dusty Rhodes and NWA US Champion Magnum TA aided the Road Warriors and Paul Ellering in clearing the Russians from ringside; moments later, Tony Schiavone conducted an interview with the Road Warriors and Ellering, in possession of the Russians’ own chain

– Black Bart pinned Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Sam Houston to win the title with a legdrop off the middle rope as the champion climbed back into the ring

– Ron Garvin pinned Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Black Bart to win the title at around the 15-minute mark with the right hand punch after avoiding the champion’s legdrop from the middle turnbuckle; immediately after the match, NWA US Champion Nikita Koloff, Ivan Koloff, & Krusher Kruschev ran out and attacked Garvin, with Ivan hoisting Garvin in the air for Nikita to hit the Russian Sickle off the top rope; moments later, Magnum TA, Dutch Mantell & Bobby Jaggers came out to make the save; Bob Caudle and Jim Cornette, with Big Buba, then conducted an interview with the Russians, with Nikita saying he would face Garvin anywhere and that Garvin would have to beat him for the US title and Nikita didn’t have to beat him; Ivan then said they had a week to consider Garvin’s actions against them so they orchestrated their attack in response, then saying Dick Murdoch, National Heavyweight Champion Wahoo McDaniel, Magnum, and Dusty Rhodes should take notice
12/86: Garvin vacated the title after winning the NWA US Tag Team Titles with Barry Windham.
