The Raw roster did not appear as scheduled due to being stranded in Europe following the volcano eruption in Iceland; fans were offered a chance to come back later in the week for a refund if they weren’t satisfied with the show
Raw – featured Lilian Garcia as the guest ring announcer for the night; included an opening in-ring promo by Triple H in which he spoke of the volcano in Iceland erupting and said the entire Raw roster was stuck in Europe as a result; he then said he wouldn’t be facing Frank the audio guy in an Ironman match to take up the 2-hours and that the WWE had planned to give them the best show they could; Triple H cut a promo on facing Sheamus at Extreme Rules before he was interrupted by CM Punk, alongside Luke Gallows & Serena, who said he had two words for the crowd – “Jersey sucks;” Punk then noted he could be part of Raw the following week as a result of the draft, with he and Triple H then discussing the fact Punk would put his hair on the line against Rey Mysterio Jr. at Extreme Rules; Triple H then said it was a free country, then went to the floor to point out several fans in the front row, as well as Lilian; Punk replied by saying he wasn’t asking Triple H to join the Straight Edge Society, he was telling him; Triple H was then double teamed by Punk and Gallows, with Punk pulling out the cutting shears until Mysterio made the save; moments later, Triple H held Punk so Mysterio could cut off a chunk of his hair; featured WWE World Champion John Cena speaking from Belfast, Northern Ireland regarding being stranded with the other Raw roster in Europe and facing Batista in a last man standing match at Extreme Rules; included an in-ring segment in which Vladimir Kozlov said he had been treated unfairly and then called for Jerry Lawler to come in the ring to read Kozlov’s statement in which he protested the way he had been treated by the Raw guest hosts and that he deserves better competition; after Lawler left the ring, MacGruber (Will Forte) and Vicki St. Elmo (Kristen Wiig) came out with American flags, with St. Elmo saying Punk, Gallows, & Chris Jericho would face Triple H, Mysterio, & Edge later in the show by order of Vince McMahon; MacGruber then noted Jon Bon Jovi, Paul Blartt: Mall Cop, and Snookie and the Situation were all from New Jersey and that Kozlov was a giant pile of suck; Kozlov then challenged MacGruber to a match for later in the show but MacGruber said he already had a match, against R-Truth; MacGruber then said he rigged the entire arena to blow up should Kozlov try to run, with Truth then exploding at the entrance way and leaving behind only his shoes; Kozlov finished the segment by saying he would see MacGruber later in the show; featured a backstage segment with MacGruber and Triple H in which MacGruber was shown trying to leave the arena and Triple H pointed out that he peed his pants; MacGruber then said he didn’t pee his pants but his friend did and he offered to trade pants; MacGruber then said his friend was Kane, with Triple H then telling Kane the story until MacGruber ran off; included a promo by Randy Orton in Belfast, Northern Ireland in which he discussed his World Heavyweight Title shot against Jack Swagger at Extreme Rules; featured a sneak peak of “MacGruber,” with appearances by Jericho, MVP, Mark Henry, Kane, and the Great Khali; included a backstage segment in which Jericho told the Straight Edge Society to follow his lead and they would be fine; moments later, MacGruber and St. Elmo spoke with Jericho about being in the movie, with Jericho saying he stole the movie and had spoken with the director about a sequel with him in the lead role; MacGruber then asked Jericho for advice in his match against Kozlov, with MacGruber then hugging Jericho; featured an ad promoting the following week’s draft; included a video package hyping the last man standing match between Cena and Batista:
WWE IC Champion Drew McIntyre pinned Matt Hardy in a non-title match at 3:05 after yanking Hardy off the second turnbuckle, with Hardy landing on the back of his head
The Undertaker pinned World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger in an impromptu non-title match at 15:48 with the chokeslam and tombstone; prior to the bout, Swagger addressed Randy Orton before issuing an open challenge to anyone backstage; when no one answered the challenge, Swagger went to leave until Taker’s gong sounded, with Taker then appearing (The Best of Raw 2010 Blu-ray)
MacGruber (w/ Vicki St. Elmo & Ryan Phillippe) & the Great Khali defeated Vladimir Kozlov via count-out at 1:34 when Khali stalked Kozlov backstage; the bout was originally MacGruber vs. Kozlov in a singles match but Ryan Phillippe appeared at the entrance stage as Kozlov attempted the Iron Curtain and said he pulled some strings to get MacGruber a tag team partner – his half brother, Khaluber; after the bout, MacGruber plugged Shrek 4 until Vicki whispered in his ear, with MacGruber then plugging his own movie May 21
Triple H, Edge, & Rey Mysterio Jr. defeated Chris Jericho, CM Punk, & Luke Gallows (w/ Serena) at 11:02 when Triple H pinned Punk with the Pedigree after Mysterio hit the 619; during Triple H’s entrance, Sheamus interrupted on the big screen from Belfast, Northern Ireland and beat up a crew member as an example of what he planned to do to Triple H in their streetfight at Extreme Rules
WWE Superstars – 4/22/10 – featured an ad promoting the following week’s draft; included the Shad Gaspard vs. Goldust match taped 4/20/10 in Uncasville, CT; featured a vignette of Edge; included a video package hyping the last man standing match between WWE World Champion John Cena and Batista:
Yoshi Tatsu pinned Zack Ryder (w/ Rosa Mendes) at 11:40 with a spin kick off the top; Michael Cole & Jerry Lawler provided commentary for the match
John Morrison pinned Carlito (w/ Michael Tarver) with the Flying Chuck at 11:13 after Carlito began arguing with Tarver on the floor after Tarver accidentally distracted the referee as Carlito had Morrison covered with a roll up; prior to the bout, Carlito cut an in-ring promo in which he said he was one of the few Raw superstars to actually make the show but that he still wasn’t booked in a match for Raw; Carlito then said he deserved to be on Raw each week; Michael Cole & Jerry Lawler provided commentary for the bout
Dark match after the taping: Triple H fought the Undertaker to a no contest when several of the heels attacked Taker, with Triple H then making the save

Pay-per-view bouts – featured Michael Cole, Booker T, & Jerry Lawler on commentary; included a backstage segment in which John Laurinaitis found Vince McMahon, noted McMahon sustained a concussion on Raw and it might not be best for him to go out later in the night; Laurinaitis then tried to get inside McMahon’s office but McMahon closed the door in his face; moments later, Josh Matthews attempted to interview Laurinaitis, with Laurinaitis making fun of Matthews being an ex-wrestler and a wannabe announcer; featured Matt Striker conducting a backstage interview with WWE World Champion CM Punk regarding his upcoming title defense against Kane and Daniel Bryan, with Punk saying he had no relationship with AJ and he was focused on his match; moments later, AJ appeared, kissed Punk on the cheek, and wished him good luck, with Punk saying thanks but luck was for losers; included a video package recapping the history between Triple H and Brock Lesnar; featured an in-ring promo by Triple H in which he discussed now having a corporate job and being tied up in a legal mess with Lesnar and Paul Heyman; Triple H then said his arm was healing and he would be back in fighting shape soon, then proposing the lawsuits and lawyers go away so he and Lesnar can fight; Triple H then challenged Lesnar to a match at Summer Slam and told him he’d be waiting for an answer; included a backstage segment with AJ and Bryan in which AJ said there was a part of her that hasn’t gotten over him, then kissed him on the cheeck before wishing him good luck; featured a backstage segment in which AJ found Kane, wished him good luck, and kissed him on the cheeck; moments later, Kane kissed her back on the lips, with the crowd chanting “Yes;” included an ad promoting the 1,000th episode of Raw on July 23; featured an ad promoting Summer Slam, set to Kevin Rudolf’s “Don’t Give Up”:

WWE US Champion Santino Marella defeated Ricardo Rodriguez in a tuxedo match at 4:25 after hitting the Cobra; after his pants were taken off, Rodriguez was revealed to be wearing Alberto Del Rio briefs
WWE IC Champion Christian pinned Cody Rhodes at 11:33 with the spear after avoiding the Beautiful Disaster
Titus O’Neil & Darren Young defeated Primo Colon & Epico (w/ AW & Rosa Mendes), Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel, and Jimmy & Jey Uso in an unadvertised match at 9:30 when Young pinned Epico with a double knee gutbuster after AW rolled Epico back into the ring; stipulations stated the winners would become the #1 contenders to the WWE Tag Team Titles; during their entrance, footage was shown from earlier in the night of AW getting Epico, Primo, & Rosa mentally ready for the match; after the contest, AW congratulated O’Neil & Young on their win; moments later, Primo & Epico confronted AW and knocked him down, with O’Neil & Young then jumping them from behind and AW also stomping Primo & Epico
WWE Divas Champion Layla pinned Beth Phoenix at 6:53 with the Layout after avoiding a clothesline
Sin Cara pinned Hunico (w/ Camacho) at 5:47 with la Mistica; the match was wrestled under blue and orange lights
WWE World Champion CM Punk defeated Kane and Daniel Bryan at 18:14 by pinning Kane with a kick to the head and the Go To Sleep, moments after Kane accidentally knocked AJ off the ring apron to the floor; AJ appeared during the closing moments of the bout; after the contest, Kane picked up the unconscious AJ and carried her backstage, with a camera showing her looking back with a smile at Punk in the ring
Ryback defeated Rob Grymes & Dan Delany at 1:37 by pinning both men after hitting a simultaneous Samoan Drop; following their entrance, Grymes & Delany took the mic and said they would beat Ryback, then go across the street to MetLife Stadium for WrestleMania, then singing along to the 1993 single “WrestleMania;” prior to the finish and after the match, Ryback yelled, “Feed me three!”
John Cena defeated the Big Show in a steel cage match at 19:22 by escaping over the top and touching the floor just before Show escaped through the door; Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis, using a crutch, sat ringside for the match; at the 13-minute mark, Laurinaitis went to close the open cage door to prevent Cena from escaping, with McMahon walking over, pushing him out of the way, and then trying to open the door for Cena; Laurinaitis then knocked McMahon down; at the 16-minute mark, Brodus Clay appeared ringside with a steel chair, preventing Show from escaping the cage; moments later, Alex Riley, WWE US Champion Santino Marella, and Zack Ryder ran out to keep Show in the cage, with Show knocking out each one with a punch into the cage; WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston then ran out, scaled the cage, and kicked Show off the cage onto the mat; after the bout, Clay held Laurinaitis for Cena, who hoisted him for a FU at ringside, with McMahon then taking a mic and yelling, “You’re fired!”; Cena then dropped Laurinaitis with a FU into the Spanish announce table before celebrating and hugging Clay

Raw – featured Jim Ross & Michael Cole on commentary; included an ad promoting WWE ’13; featured a video segment of the WWE weekend tour in Egypt; included a “Did you know?” graphic which read Saturday Morning Slam the previous weekend was the #1 show on cable and broadcast TV regarding social media; members of SuperBowl Champions the New York Giants were shown in attendance; featured an in-ring promo by John Cena in which he noted WWE World Champion CM Punk’s reign was at 337 days but change was coming in the form of Ryback; moments later, Punk and Paul Heyman appeared at the entrance stage, with Punk taking the mic and saying Cena could promise change but everyone knew that Punk’s promises came true and he promised to walk out of Hell in a Cell still the champion; Cena then revealed he was medically cleared and, while he wouldn’t mess with Punk’s scheduled match with Ryback on Sunday, he was up for a fight; Punk then went down to the ring but eventually, after prompting from Heyman, backed down and left the ring, holding up the title belt and showing it to Cena; included a backstage shot of Vince McMahon and AJ arriving to the arena; featured an in-ring segment with McMahon and AJ in which AJ discussed allegations against her, citing her fraternizing with a WWE superstar, and said she was resigning as a result; AJ went on to say the allegations were untrue and noted she grew up 15 minutes from the arena, and going from being homeless to being the boss; AJ then thanked the fans for their support and McMahon for giving her a chance; moments later, Heyman interrupted and said the board should name a replacement GM immediately and suggested it be him; McMahon said no and then introduced Vickie Guerrero as the “managing supervisor;” Vickie then appeared, with Heyman immediately praising her before suggesting to her to change McMahon’s ruling of Punk facing Ryback at Hell in a Cell; Vickie said Punk would still face Ryback and announced Punk would face World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus later in the show; when Heyman complained, Vickie said it would also be a lumberjack match; after Heyman left, Vickie confronted AJ and insulted her, accusing her of having an affair and saying she disgusted her; AJ went to leave but then tackled Vickie, with the two trading blows before Vickie escaped the ring; included an ad promoting WrestleMania 29 tickets going on sale Nov. 10; featured footage from Hartford, CT of Stephanie McMahon, Eve, Brodus Clay, and David Otunga speaking to kids about bullying; included a backstage segment with WWE Divas Champion Eve on her cell phone insulting AJ, with Kaitlyn walking up behind her and confronting her about what was on her iPad; moments later, Eve slapped Kaitlyn, with Kaitlyn having to be pulled away after Layla also became involved; featured Josh Matthews conducting a backstage interview with Sheamus, holding his own Brawling Buddy, about his upcoming match against Punk; moments later, Big Show walked in, knocked the Brawling Buddy out of Sheamus’s hand, and said he would knock him out and take the title; included a backstage segment in which Santino Marella told AJ that she did a good job; moments later, Cena appeared and the two talked about the accusations, with AJ saying he was the one implicated in the accusations; featured a second video package on WWE’s tour of Egypt; included a backstage segment in which Cena confronted McMahon about the accusations against AJ, with McMahon saying there was incriminating evidence and AJ was already on probation; featured a backstage segment in which Cena confronted Vickie about costing AJ her job, with Vickie telling Cena it was all his fault; included a “Did you know?” graphic which read Summer Slam 2012 continues to be the #1 sports DVD in America; featured Matthews conducting a backstage interview with Dolph Ziggler about his win earlier in the show over WWE Tag Team Champion Daniel Bryan, AJ’s resignation, and then blaming it all on Cena; included a video package on Ryback; moments later, Punk and Heyman were shown watching on backstage, with Punk complaining about having to face Sheamus just days before his match against Ryback; Heyman then said Punk would still be the world champion the following Monday and he would remain the best in the world:
WWE Tag Team Championship #1 Contender Tournament Finals: Cody Rhodes & Damien Sandow defeated Rey Mysterio Jr. & Sin Cara at 11:16 when Rhodes pinned Mysterio with Crossroads; stipulations stated the winners would challenge for the WWE Tag Team Titles at Hell in a Cell; during the bout, WWE Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan & Kane were shown watching on backstage; after the bout, Bryan & Kane appeared on the big screen and said “Hell no” as to whether they would win the titles, with Kane then setting off the ringpost pyro
WWE IC Champion Kofi Kingston pinned Michael McGillicutty in a non-title match with the spin kick to the head at 2:29; Mike Mizanin provided guest commentary for the match
Justin Gabriel pinned WWE US Champion Antonio Cesaro in a non-title match at 4:40 with the 450 splash; following his entrance, Cesaro took the mic and cut a promo in several languages on the floor; during the match, it was noted Cesaro was wrestling with torn tendons in his right hand; there were chants of “We want Ryder” during the bout

Dolph Ziggler pinned WWE Tag Team Champion Daniel Bryan at 14:01 with a Zig Zag from the middle turnbuckle after Bryan chanted “No” as WWE Tag Team Champion Kane had the crowd chant “Yes” to encourage Bryan; Kane came ringside early in the match to support Bryan; after the bout, Bryan and Kane argued and Bryan shoved Kane before Matt Striker came out and said Vickie Guerrero had a surprise for them; Striker then said Vickie wanted them to take part in a game to get through their issues; following the commercial break, Striker had Bryan and Kane introduce themselves, as though they were on a game show, and introduced Cody Rhodes & Damien Sandow as their opponents; moments later, Rhodes & Sandow appeared at the entrance stage and said they would win the titles at Hell in a Cell but were not playing the game show and then left; Striker then said Bryan & Kane were winners via forfeit, with Kane then clearing Striker from the ring; as Striker walked up the stage, he said he didn’t wish Bryan & Kane luck on Sunday; moments later, Striker walked into the Big Show, making his way out to the ring, with Show tossing Striker several feet (The Best of Raw & Smackdown 2012)
The Big Show pinned WWE Tag Team Champion Kane (w/ WWE Tag Team Champion Daniel Bryan) with the punch to the face at around the 7-minute mark after Cody Rhodes & Damien Sandow appeared at the entrance stage; after the match, Rhodes & Sandow double teamed Bryan in the ring as Kane was still knocked out (the match began during the commercial break)
Alberto Del Rio defeated Zack Ryder via submission with the cross armbreaker at 2:47; Ricardo Rodriguez served as ADR’s ring announcer for the match; after the match, ADR cut a promo on Randy Orton before reapplying the hold, with Rodriguez holding the mic for ADR as he repeated “Tap, Randy, tap!”; Rodriguez then repeatedly yelled ADR’s name on the mic
WWE World Champion CM Punk (w/ Paul Heyman) pinned World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus in a non-title lumberjack match at 18:13 when, after Sheamus fought off an interfering WWE US Champion Antonio Cesaro and Jinder Mahal, the Big Show dropped Sheamus with the chokeslam behind the referee’s back; lumberjacks for the match included Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, Brodus Clay, Sin Cara, R-Truth, Heath Slater, Darren Young, Titus O’Neil, Tensai, David Otunga, Show, Michael McGillicutty, Primo Colon, Epico, Drew McIntyre, Alberto Del Rio, Ricardo Rodriguez, Ted Dibiase Jr., Rey Mysterio Jr., Jimmy & Jey Uso, WWE IC Champion Kofi Kingston, Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler, Wade Barrett, William Regal, Mike Mizanin, Santino Marella, Jinder Mahal, Justin Gabriel, Tyson Kidd, Mason Ryan, and JTG; after the bout, Ryback came out, with the lumberjacks throwing Punk back into the ring where Ryback dropped him with a powerslam; Punk again attempted to escape and again was tossed back into the ring by lumberjacks, where he sustained a powerbomb; the same thing happened a third time, with Ryback gorilla pressing Punk to the floor onto several of the heel wrestlers; the show ended with Punk on the floor in the aisle as Ryback stood in the ring

Randy Orton fought Sheamus to a no contest at around the 15-minute mark when the Big Show appeared and attacked both men; prior to the bout, Sheamus took the mic and asked the crowd who should get to face the Big Show; moments later, Orton interrupted and made his own case as to why he should be the one to face Show; the commentary team then noted the fans would decide through WWE Active; following the commercial break, it was revealed Orton won with 77% to Sheamus’s 23%; Vickie Guerrero and Booker T then appeared at the entrance stage and said the two would face off to determine who Show would face; during the bout, there were chants of “Ole,” “We want Sheamus,” “RVD,” “JBL,” “Jerry,” “Michael Cole,” “Mike Chioda,” “ECW,” “Randy Savage,” “HBK” and then did a wave; after the match, the crowd chanted “Thank you, Big Show” and “Yes” before Show took Orton down with a spear on the floor; Show then tossed Orton across the commentary table as the crowd chanted “We are awesome;” Show then threw several of the commentary chairs and left ringside as the crowd chanted “Throw more chairs”
Fandango defeated Kofi Kingston via disqualification at 1:30 when Chris Jericho ran out, attacked Fandango, and tossed him to the floor; during the match, the crowd chanted in tune with Fandango’s theme music; after the bout, Jericho continued to attack Fandango and locked him in the Walls of Jericho; moments later, referees forced Jericho to break the hold, with Jericho then hitting the Codebreaker; after Jericho left the ring, Justin Roberts announced Fandango as the winner; an injured Fandango then corrected the pronunciation of his name; as Fandango’s music played, the crowd again sang along
Brodus Clay, Tensai, Cameron, & Naomi defeated Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, Brie & Nikki Bella at around the 5-minute mark when Clay pinned Sandow after both men hit a simultaneous splash on Sandow (the match began during the commercial break)
WWE World Champion John Cena defeated Mark Henry via count-out in a non-title match at 3:16 after Henry struck the ringpost; after the match, Henry attacked Cena, dropped him with the powerslam, and held up the title belt; moments later, Ryback appeared, attacked Henry, and cleared him from the ring; Ryback then pulled Cena to his feet and chanted “Feed me more” before hitting him with a clothesline and Shellshocked, then holding up the title belt as the crowd cheered and chanted along with him
