Robert Gibson pinned Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Black Bart in a non-title match at 7:47 with a reverse crossbody from the middle turnbuckle
Ole & NWA TV Champion Arn Anderson defeated Sam Houston & Nelson Royal at 12:27 when Arn pinned Houston after Ole came off the top behind the referee’s back as Houston had Arn covered with a roll up
Manny Fernandez pinned Baron Von Raschke (w/ Paul Jones) in a bunkhouse match at 9:09 with a cradle as Von Raschke attempted to slam his opponent from the apron into the ring; both men bled during the bout
Wahoo McDaniel defeated Jimmy Garvin (w/ Precious) in an Indian strap match at 10:43 after tossing Garvin off the top, tying his hands together, and dragging him to all four corners of the ring; both men bled during the contest; after the bout, Garvin jumped Wahoo before leaving the ring
Ron Garvin defeated National Heavyweight Champion Tully Blanchard (w/ JJ Dillon) in a taped fist match via KO in the 5th round; a young Dustin Rhodes drove Garvin and Wahoo to the ringside area before the bout; there were 10 3-minute rounds for the match with a 30-second rest period between rounds; before the match officially began, a confrontation between Garvin and Blanchard led to Garvin knocking Blanchard out with a punch; Garvin again knocked Blanchard out during the rest period after the first round; both men bled during the bout; both men were counted down for the count of 10, with referee Tommy Young saying the first man to reach his feet would win; moments later, Dillon tried to get Blanchard to his feet while Wahoo dumped water on Garvin to revive him
The Road Warriors (w/ Paul Ellering) defeated Nikita & Ivan Koloff in a double Russian Chain Match at 5:41 when Road Warrior Animal pinned Ivan after Ellering interfered and pushed Ivan off the top, causing him to crotch himself across the top rope; all four wrestlers bled in the match; after the bout, the Warriors won a brawl over the Koloffs (Great American Bash 86, The Life & Death of the Road Warriors)
Jimmy Valiant pinned Shaska Whatley (w/ Paul Jones) at 8:53 after hitting him with Baron Von Raschke’s loaded glove, moments after Von Raschke tried to interfere but was held back by Manny Fernandez; stipulations stated the loser of the match would have his head shaved; after the contest, Fernandez, Nelson Royal, NWA Jr. Heavyweight Champion Denny Brown, Ron Garvin, Sam Houston, and NWA Tag Team Champion Robert Gibson came out and held up Whatley while Valiant shaved him bald; moments later, Valiant grabbed the mic and said Jones was next (Great American Bash 86)
Dusty Rhodes, Magnum TA, & Boby Doll defeated Jim Cornette, NWA Tag Team Champions Bobby Eaton & Dennis Condrey (w/ Big Bubba) in a steel cage match when Baby Doll pinned Cornette with a right hand punch at 6:30; after the bout, Rhodes faced off with Bubba on the floor until he was jumped from behind by Eaton, with Eaton holding Dusty while Bubba landed a series of punches to the face; eventually, Magnum broke free of the cage to make the save (Great American Bash 86)
NWA World Champion Ric Flair pinned Ricky Morton in a steel cage match at 23:15 with his feet on the ropes for leverage after dropping Morton crotch-first across the top rope; Morton wore a protective mask over his face to shield his broken nose but Flair removed it mid-way through the contest; prior to the match, Flair arrived in a WSOC Channel 9 helicopter alongside sportscaster Harold Jackson, who was the guest ring announcer for the match (Ric Flair & the 4 Horsemen)

Ron Garvin pinned Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Black Bart in a non-title match at 8:50 with a knee to the face as Bart charged the corner and then putting both feet on the ropes; during the bout, it was noted the following week’s show would air from Columbia, SC; late in the contest, National Heavyweight Champion Tully Blanchard and JJ Dillon appeared ringside; after the contest, Blanchard and Dillon protested the decision

Wahoo McDaniel defeated National Heavyweight Champion Tully Blanchard (w/ JJ Dillon) via disqualification at 11:10 when referee Tommy Young caught Dillon in possession of a weapon; moments earlier, Blanchard hit the challenger with the weapon and made the cover, with Ron Garvin then coming out, preventing the pinfall, and telling Young what happened; Blanchard then tossed the weapon to Dillon, who dropped it and was caught; after the contest, Dillon kneed McDaniel, leading to Garvin making the save but sustaining Blanchard’s slingshot suplex
Sam Houston pinned George South with the bulldog at 7:08; Houston hit the move earlier in the match but South kicked out at 2
The Road Warriors (w/ Paul Ellering) defeated NWA Tag Team Champions Bobby Eaton & Dennis Condrey (w/ Jim Cornette & Big Bubba) via disqualification at 10:42 when Cornette climbed in the ring and struck Road Warrior Animal with his tennis racquet as Animal prepared to gorilla press slam Eaton; Tony Schiavone provided sole commentary for the match; after the contest, Ellering chased Cornette around the ring until Baby Doll appeared ringside, struck Cornette, and returned backstage; following the commercial break, Schiavone conducted an interview with the Road Warriors, Ellering, and Baby Doll in which the Road Warriors said they were the rightful tag team champions, Ellering congratulated Baby Doll for her involvement, and Baby Doll said she wasn’t done with Cornette; following that commercial break, Cornette, with Bubba, ranted about Baby Doll’s involvement, insulted her while holding a ice pack to the back of his head, and said he was now looking for revenge

Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Black Bart & the Barbarian defeated NWA Jr. Heavyweight Champion Denny Brown & the Italian Stallion at 8:02 when the Barbarian pinned Stallion with the headbutt off the top; Paul Jones was announced as being with the Barbarian but did not appear
Manny Fernandez pinned Baron Von Raschke (w/ Paul Jones) in a loaded glove on a pole match at 8:26 with the flying forearm as Von Raschke attempted to use the loaded glove as a weapon; Fernandez bled from the face during the bout; immediately after the match, Fernandez was double teamed by Jones and Von Raschke before escaping the ring
Wahoo McDaniel defeated Jimmy Garvin (w/ Precious) in an Indian strap match at 8:28 after tossing Garvin off the top, tying his hands together, and dragging him to all four corners; both men bled heavily during the bout; after the contest, Garvin jumped Wahoo from behind before escaping the ring; moments later, Garvin got back in the ring but sustained a chop from Wahoo and slid to the floor
National Heavyweight Champion Tully Blanchard (w/ JJ Dillon) defeated Ron Garvin (w/ Wahoo McDaniel) in a taped fist match via KO at 1:50 in the 4th round after Blanchard hit Garvin with a foreign object, put in his hand moments before by Dillon after Dillon threw something in Wahoo’s face; the match called for 10 2-minute rounds with a 30-second rest period between rounds; both men bled from the face during the contest; before the bout officially began, Blanchard attempted attacking Garvin only for Garvin to knock him out with a right hand punch; between rounds 1 and 2, Blanchard again charged at Garvin and again was knocked out by a right hand punch; Dr. Tom Miller announced Garvin as the winner of the bout before correcting himself (Great American Bash 86)
Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson defeated fought Ole Anderson & NWA TV Champion Arn Anderson to a 20-minute time-limit draw at 20:12; Gibson had Arn in a sleeper when the bell rang; after the contest, Gibson made the save by clearing the ring with a steel chair; stipulations stated the winners would be the #1 contenders for the NWA Tag Team Titles (Great American Bash 86)
Paul Jones (w/ Baron Von Raschke) pinned Jimmy Valiant (w/ Manny Fernandez) in a hair vs. hair match at 4:26 when, as Fernandez fought with Von Raschke in the ring, Shaska Whatley came in behind the referee’s back and hit Valiant over the back with a steel chair and put Jones on top; prior to the bout, Valiant took the mic and said he would turn Jones into a bald headed geek; in the final moments of the match, Valiant hit Jones with a loaded glove and made the cover; after the bout, the Italian Stallion, Sam Houston, and Fernandez protested the fall, with Sandy Scott then coming out to look into the controversial finish; after Valiant came to, and with the crowd chanting “No,” he himself set up a chair in the ring and let Scott shave his head (Great American Bash 86)
