Tommy Dreamer pinned ECW World Champion Taz to win the title with a roll up reversal at around the 5:30 mark; following the entrances, the crowd chanted “Welcome back” at Taz; after the bout, Taz took the mic and noted he and Dreamer wrestled each other for 10 years and Dreamer had never beaten him; Bill Alphonso then came out as Taz discussed he, Dreamer, Raven, Sandman, Sabu, and Shane Douglas building the company; Taz then presented the title to Dreamer and shook his hand and told him to be the strong leader he his and give the fans their money’s worth; moments later, Taz said he was professional “unlike other fuckers I won’t name,” prompting a chant of “Awesome sucks;” the two then hugged before Taz led the crowd in repeating his catchphrase and left the ring; the crowd then gave Dreamer a standing ovation as he said he may never make it to WrestleMania and didn’t want to make it to Starrcade but he made it in the ECW Arena; an emotional Dreamer then noted his friends in other companies, or dead, and thanked the crowd for their support; moments later, Balls Mahoney, Alphonso, CW Anderson, Nova, Chris Chetti, Little Guido, Roadkill, Danny Doring, Raven, and Francine came out to congratulate Dreamer; after everyone else left the ring, Raven entered it, shook Dreamer’s hand, and hugged him before raising Dreamer’s hand; moments later, both men were jumped by ECW Tag Team Champion Justin Credible, alongside Jason, and laid out by shots with a Singapore cane; Credible then took the mic and said all he was hearing about was Mike Awesome trashing the belt on WCW Monday Nitro and Taz defending the belt on WWF Monday Night Raw; Credible then said everyone that held the ECW Tag Team Titles could kiss his ass, throwing the belts down, and then challenging Dreamer to an immediate title match (ECW: Unreleased Vol. 1)

Christian York & Joey Matthews defeated Simon Diamond & Johnny Swinger at 5:38 when York pinned Swinger with an elbow drop off the top immediately after Matthews hit a hurricanrana off the top on Swinger; prior to the bout, Dawn Marie appeared and said she would offer her managerial services to the team that won; after the bout, Dawn joined Diamond & Swinger – swerving York & Matthews – with Diamond & Swinger then dropping York with the Problem Solver; moments later, Joel Gertner left the broadcast booth to check on an injured Matthews
EZ Money (w/ Chris Hamrick, Julio Dinero, & Elektra) pinned Balls Mahoney at 7:53 with a moonsault off the top after Dinero hit a neckbreaker off the top behind the referee’s back and Hamrick followed with a legdrop off Money’s shoulders as Money sat on the top rope; after the bout, Balls was triple teamed until Nova made the save

ECW TV Champion Rhino defeated Spike Dudley via KO with a choke at 9:47; after the bout, Rhino assaulted Spike with a steel chair and rammed a referee through a table set up in the corner when he tried to intervene (ECW: Unreleased Vol. 1)
Mikey Whipwreck & Yoshihiro Tajiri (w/ the Sinister Minister) defeated Super Crazy & Kid Kash (mystery partner) at at 18:24 when Tajiri pinned Crazy with a double stop off the top through a table set up in the ring, with Crazy laid underneath, his buried under several steel chairs

The Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan was in attendance for the show; featured an in-ring introduction by Joey Styles & Joel Gertner before Joey Matthews, his arm in a sling, and Christian York appeared; moments later, as Styles attempted to interview Matthews, Simon Diamond, Johnny Swinger, and Dawn Marie interrupted; the two teams eventually brawled until CW Anderson helped Diamond & Swinger get the upper hand, with Tommy Dreamer attempting to make the save; eventually, Buh Buh Ray & D-Von Dudley appeared, with Dreamer helping them hit the Wazzup Drop on Dawn Marie as the crowd chanted “Welcome back;” Buh Buh then issued a challenge to Anderson, Diamond, & Swinger to a match later in the show, with Buh Buh then adding D-Von had “nine inches of black dick” for Dawn Marie when she was feeling better; Buh Buh then alluded to the Rock’s catchphrase by noting “finally” the Dudleys had come home

ECW Tag Team Champions Danny Doring & Roadkill defeated Tony Devito & Angel at 7:41 when Doring pinned Devito with the wheelbarrow / legdrop off the top; late in the bout, Taz’ WWF theme song played, with Taz then appearing, applying the Tazmission on the referee, and distracting the challengers; after the contest, Taz cut an in-ring promo, noting he and Perry Saturn trained the champions four years before, praised them for the training they survived, and said he was proud of them; moments later, Taz said “Beat them if you can, survive if they let you” and hugged both men (Taz’ one-time return after more than a year absence)
ECW TV Chamion Rhino pinned Spike Dudley at 10:07 with a piledriver; during the final moments of the match, the champion hit a piledriver from the apron through a table set up on the floor, then rolled Spike back into the ring and made a cover but Spike kicked out at 2

ECW World Champion Steve Corino (w/ Jack Victory) defeated the Sandman in a last man standing match at 16:22; both men were down for the 10-count at 15:40, with referee Jim Mollineaux then announcing that the next man to his feet would leave with the belt; Corino then grabbed the referee, distracting him as Sandman rose to his feet and was knocked back down by Victory; after the bout, Justin Credible laid out Corino until Victory fought him all the way backstage; moments later, Sandman grabbed the mic and said though Corino won, Sandman was leaving with the title belt
