Pay-per-view bouts – featured Joey Styles & Mick Foley on commentary; included a backstage promo by Pitbull Gary Wolfe regarding former ECW stars who passed away; a remembrance montage then aired featuring Rocco Rock, Terry Gordy, Mike Lockwood, the original Sheik, Mike Lozansky, Anthony Durante, Big Dick Dudley, and Chris Candido; featured many classic clips from the history of the promotion; included Joel Gertner attempting to interview the Smackdown! wrestlers in the balcony, only for Angle and JBL to rough him up and cut promos on the crowd and the ECW talent while the crowd chanted “Shut the Fuck Up” in response; moments later, Rob Van Dam and Bill Alphonso came out, with RVD putting over the ECW stars and saying that the WWE guys in the balcony had nothing to do with the success of the show; after RVD talked about his knee injury and said not being able to compete sucks worse than missing the overseas WWE tour, missing Booker T’s wedding, or missing WrestleMania, Rhyno came out of nowhere and hit the Gore on RVD before the lights went out and Sabu appeared to make the save, leading to an impromptu match; featured a backstage promo from Al Snow, with Head; included Eric Bischoff leading the Raw contingent of Edge, Christian, Gene Snitsky, William Regal, Tyson Tomko, Maven, Rob Conway, Sylvan Grenier, and Jonathan Coachman to their balcony seats; featured Joel Gertner asking Eric Bischoff for a job, with Bischoff then rejecting him, verbally assaulting him as well as the crowd, and throwing his beer at Gertner; included Paul Heyman coming out, thanking several notables onhand, and then cutting a promo on Eric Bischoff, Edge, and JBL; featured a movie trailer for Rob Zombie’s “The Devils Rejects”:
Lance Storm (w/ Dawn Marie) pinned Chris Jericho at 7:22 after Justin Credible, who came ringside moments earlier with Jason Knight, hit Jericho in the face with a kendo stick; during the bout, there were chants of both “Chris Candido” and “Fuck John Cena” (Storm’s last match)
Super Crazy defeated Little Guido (w/ Big Guido, Tracy Smothers, Tony Mamaluke, & JT Smith) and Yoshihiro Tajiri (w/ the Sinister Minister & Mikey Whipwreck) in an elimination match at 6:14; Tajiri pinned Guido after Whipwreck interfered and hit a jawbreaker off the top at 4:09; Super Crazy pinned Tajiri with a powerbomb and moonsault (Wrestling’s Highest Flyers)
Rey Mysterio Jr. pinned Psychosis at 6:22 with the West Coast Pop; after the bout, Kurt Angle, John Bradshaw Layfield, WWE US Champion Orlando Jordan, Doug & Danny Basham, Matt Morgan, Carlito Caribbean Cool appeared and took their seats in the balcony, to which the crowd chanted “Fuck you, Smackdown”
Sabu (w/ Bill Alphonso & Rob Van Dam) pinned Rhyno at 6:29 with an Arabian Skull Crusher through a table; during the early portion of the bout, the crowd chanted “You Got Fired” towards Rhyno
Chris Benoit defeated Eddie Guerrero via submission with the Crippler Crossface at 10:36; during the bout, the crowd chanted “Fuck you, Bischoff”
Mike Awesome pinned Masato Tanaka at 9:51 with a pinfall on the floor after hitting an Awesome Bomb over the top through a table set up outside the ring and then diving over the top onto his opponent; after the bout, Awesome laid out the referee (Bloodsport: ECW’s Most Violent Matches)
The Dudley Boyz defeated Tommy Dreamer & the Sandman at 10:14 when Bubba Ray pinned Dreamer after a powerbomb through a flaming table; prior to the bout, the bWo came out, with Stevie Richards cutting a promo before hitting a superkick on Sandman; moments later, Kid Kash came and and was quickly thrown to the floor; Axl Rotten and Balls Mahoney then came out and cleared the ring of the bWo; moments later, Kash jumped off the referee’s back and hit a somersault splash onto every other wrestler on the floor; at the 5:30 mark, Lance Storm, Justin Credible, and Francine interfered, which led to Beaulah Mcgillicutty coming out to help make the save; after clearing Storm, Credible, and Francine from the ring, Dreamer and Beaulah embraced; during the last minute of the match, Spike Dudley came out and assisted in setting the table on fire; Dreamer used a lyric-less version of Alice in Chains’ “Man in the Box” while Sandman used the original Metallica version of “Enter Sandman”; after the bout, the Dudleyz attempted to injure Beaulah but Sandman cleared the ring with his kendo stick and then asked for a beer, with Stone Cold Steve Austin coming out moments later and asking that all the guys in the back come out; after the vast majority of talent came out, Austin challenged the WWE talent in the balcony to a fight; after the battle lines were drawn, Jonathan Coachman, and Eric Bischoff joined the commentary team, Tazz came out and a giant brawl erupted in and outside the ring; during the brawl, JBL opened up a massive cut on the Blue Meanie’s head and gave him a black eye; moments later, Tazz choked out Kurt Angle on the floor; after the WWE wrestlers were cleared from the ring, Austin had Mick Foley bring Bischoff to the ring, where Bischoff sustained the 3D, the diving headbutt from Benoit, the 619 from Mysterio, and the Stunner from Austin before being thrown to the floor and taken out of the building by the Dudleyz (ECW: Extreme Rules)
ECW One Night Stand 06 – New York City, NY – Hammerstein Ballroom – June 11, 2006 (2,460; sell out)
Pay-per-view bouts – included an opening in-ring promo by Paul Heyman to hype up the crowd in which he talked about ECW’s new spot on the Sci-Fi Network, said ECW was better than Monday Night Raw or Friday Night Smackdown!, and thanked the fans for all their continued support; featured Joey Styles & Tazz on commentary; included a look at the Big Show joining ECW the previous Wednesday as well of the in-ring brawl that ended the TV special; featured John Bradshaw Layfield cutting a promo from the crowd about ECW being nothing, making the Blue Meanie bleed the previous year, said he was the voice of the “A show,” and that One Night Stand sucked; included an in-ring promo by Eugene in which he read a poem about why he was a big ECW fan, with the fans chanting “Shut the fuck up” until the Sandman came out of the crowd and repeatedly caned Eugene all the way backstage:
ECW TV – 6/13/06: Tazz defeated Jerry Lawler via submission with the Tazzmission at the 36-second mark after Lawler grabbed an interfering Joey Styles and attempted to hit the piledriver on him; prior to the bout, before coming to the ring, Lawler confronted Styles at the commentary table and slapped him across the face; after the match, Tazz joined Styles on commentary for the remainder of the show
Kurt Angle defeated Randy Orton via submission with the ankle lock into a heel hook at 15:18; during the bout, the crowd chanted “Fuck you, Orton,” “You can’t wrestle,” “Orton sucks dick,” and “Fuck him up Angle, fuck him up;” after the match, Orton called for several referees to help him backstage
Little Guido & Tony Mamaluke (w/ Big Guido) defeated Super Crazy & Tajiri when Guido pinned Tajiri at 12:25 following a double fishermans buster; during the match, the crowd started a brief “Nacho Libre” chant; after the bout, the Big Show appeared and easily cleared the ring of all five men (Tajiri’s 1st appearance after a 6-month absence)
World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio Jr. fought Sabu to a draw at 9:09 when neither man was deemed able to continue after Sabu hit a springboard DDT through a table set up on the floor; after the bout, both men were helped backstage (ECW: Extreme Rules)
Lita, co-WWE Hardcore Champions Edge & Mick Foley defeated Terry Funk, Tommy Dreamer, & Beulah McGillicutty at 18:45 when Edge pinned Beulah with the spear; the bout was originally scheduled as Funk & Dreamer vs. Edge & Foley but was changed to a 6-person tag match following a challenge from Beulah; prior to the bout, Foley cut a promo praising the way Stephanie McMahon ran ECW and Edge insulted the Internet fan crowd; mid-way through the match, Funk was helped backstage after suffering an injury, prompting the crowd to chant “We want Sandman,” with Funk returning minutes later; late in the match, Funk repeatedly hit Foley with a flaming 2×4 wrapped in barbed wire, sending him flying through a table on the floor covered in barbed wire; after the match, Funk & Dreamer received a strong ovation from the crowd after Funk was cut out of the barbed wire (ECW: Extreme Rules, Mick Foley Greatest Hits & Misses: Hardcore Edition, Edge: A Decade of Decadence)
Balls Mahoney pinned Masato Tanaka at 5:04 with a chair shot to the head after avoiding a chair shot
Rob Van Dam pinned WWE World Champion John Cena with the Five Star Frog Splash to win the title at 20:39 after interference from a man in a motorcycle helmet who speared Cena through a table set up in the corner; moments later, the man took off the helmet to reveal himself as Edge; Paul Heyman came out to the ring to count the pinfall after replacement referee Nick Patrick had been knocked out; prior to the match, Cena repeatedly threw his t-shirt out to the crowd but each time it was thrown back in the ring by the fans; Cena received several chants of “Fuck you, Cena,” “Same old shit,” and “You can’t wrestle” from the crowd; after the match, RVD celebrated in the crowd, hugged his wife in the balcony, and was paraded around the ring by Heyman, Big Show, Kurt Angle, Balls Mahoney, Bill Alphonso, the Sandman, Tommy Dreamer, Justin Credible, Trinity, Mikey Whipwreck, and several others (John Cena: My Life)

WWE IC Champion Santino Marella pinned Chris Masters
Pay-per-view bouts – featured Jim Ross & Jerry Lawler on commentary for Raw, Joey Styles & Tazz on commentary for ECW, and Michael Cole & John Bradshaw Layfield on commentary for Smackdown!; included a backstage segment with ECW World Champion Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon in which Vince said he was looking forward to his match later in the night against Bobby Lashley, noting it was Lashley’s last chance at the title; Vince then said he had a premonition something bad was going to happen to him but wasn’t referring to the match; featured a backstage segment with World Heavyweight Champion Edge and Randy Orton in which Orton teased going after Edge’s title if he was traded to Smackdown! the following week; included a backstage promo by the Great Khali & Runjin Singh regarding Khali’s match later in the night against WWE World Champion John Cena; featured a backstage segment in which Matt & Jeff Hardy, Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas argued with one another as they recovered from the ladder match, with the two teams eventually coming to blows; included Todd Grisham conducting a backstage interview with Maria, with WWE IC Champion Santino Marella, regarding her thoughts on the pudding match later in the night; moments later, Candice Michelle appeared, asked for a kiss for good luck, and got one from Maria; Ron Simmons then appeared and said “Damn”:
Rob Van Dam defeated Randy Orton in a stretcher match at 14:34 by pushing Orton over the line after putting him on the stretcher following a brawl in the aisle; after the bout, Orton attacked RVD from behind, kicked him in the head knocking him into the crowd, and dropped him with an elevated DDT on the floor, with Rob’s feet hooked on the barricade; moments later, medics attended to RVD at ringside, he was placed on a stretcher and taken backstage (RVD’s last match)
CM Punk, Tommy Dreamer, & the Sandman defeated Elijah Burke, Marcus Cor Von, & Matt Striker in a tables match at 7:19 when Punk hit a superplex on Striker through a table after Dreamer placed Burke across the table
WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Matt & Jeff Hardy defeated Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas in a ladder match at 17:18 when Matt grabbed the belts after Jeff hit the Swanton on Haas
Mark Henry defeated Kane in a lumberjack match at 9:06 when the referee stopped the bout due to Kane passing out in a bearhug after fighting off lumberjacks Kenny Dykstra and WWE Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero Jr.; lumberjacks for the bout included: Chris Benoit, Val Venis, WWE IC Champion Santino Marella, Balls Mahoney, Stevie Richards, Mike Mizanin, Kevin Thorn, Chris Masters, Johnny Nitro, Guerrero, Dykstra, and Carlito Caribbean Cool
Bobby Lashley pinned ECW World Champion Vince McMahon (w/ Shane McMahon & Umaga) in a streetfight to win the title at 11:25 with the spear after dropping an interfering Shane with the same move; after the bout, Lashley hit a second spear on Vince
Candice Michelle defeated WWE Women’s Champion Melina in a non-title pudding match at 2:59 via submission when Candice held Melina’s head under the pudding; after the bout, Maria attempted to interview Candice at the entrance stage on her win until Melina threw pudding at her, prompting Maria to jump in the pudding pool to go after Melina; moments later, the referee was thrown in the pool as well
World Heavyweight Champion Edge defeated Batista in a steel cage match at 15:38 by escaping over the cage and hitting the floor just as Batista crawled out the door hands-first; after the bout, Edge escaped through the crowd, leaving the title belt behind (Batista: I Walk Alone)
WWE World Champion John Cena pinned the Great Khali in a falls count anywhere match at 10:26 after hitting an FU from a forklift near the entrance stage onto the concrete floor (Khali’s first pinfall loss) (The John Cena Experience)

Pay-per-view bouts – featured Jim Ross & Jerry Lawler on commentary for Raw, Michael Cole & Mick Foley on commentary for Smackdown!, and Mike Adamle & Tazz on commentary for ECW; included footage from earlier in the night of Foley in the empty arena analyzing the upcoming stretcher match between Shawn Michaels and Batista; featured a text poll over who the fans think would win the stretcher match; San Diego Chargers’ Shawne Marriman was shown in attendance; included Todd Grisham conducting a backstage interview with Vince McMahon regarding his $1 million giveaway, during which McMahon named the contest “McMahon’s Million Dollar Giveaway;” featured a backstage segment with Batista and Randy Orton in which Orton said the two could be drafted to the same brand in a few weeks and proposed they join forces, with Batista then walking away; included a backstage segment with John Cena and WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James, with Mickie suggesting they try submission holds later in the night; moments later, Adamle came out of the bathroom, giving Cena a bottle of JBL’s Mamajuana, and doing Cena’s “You can’t see me” pose; featured the results of the text poll in which 59% of the fans picked Michaels to win the stretcher match:
Jeff Hardy pinned Umaga in a falls count anywhere match at 9:06 after knocking Umaga off a production truck outside the arena and then hitting a Swanton from the top of the truck (Jeff Hardy: My Life My Rules)
The Big Show defeated CM Punk, Tommy Dreamer, Chavo Guerrero Jr., and WWE Smackdown! Tag Team Champion John Morrison in a Singapore cane match at 8:56 by pinning Dreamer with one foot on his chest following the chokeslam and a cane shot to the head; pre-match stipulations stated the winner would face ECW World Champion Kane at Night of Champions; during the bout, the San Diego Chargers’ Shawne Marriman hit Guerrero with one of the canes moments after Chavo accidentally hit him when Punk moved out of the way; WWE Smackdown! Tag Team Champion Mike Mizanin interfered on behalf of Morrison during the match; after the contest, Kane was shown watching backstage
John Cena defeated John Bradshaw Layfield in a first blood match at 14:18 when JBL bled from the mouth after Cena applied the STFU using a steel chain
Beth Phoenix defeated Melina in an I Quit match at 9:07 with a modified Boston Crab and crossface
Batista defeated Shawn Michaels in a stretcher match at 16:55 after hitting a spinebuster onto the steel ring steps in the aisle; Michael Cole & Mick Foley provided commentary for the bout; WWE IC Champion Chris Jericho appeared twice late in the match and attempted to encourage Michaels before he was ejected from ringside; late in the contest, Batista told Michaels “I don’t love you and I’m not sorry” before dropping Michaels with the sit-down powerbomb inside the ring
WWE World Champion Triple H defeated Randy Orton in a last man standing match at 13:15 after hitting the challenger in the face with a sledgehammer on the floor; late in the bout, Orton fell to the floor and complained to the referee of breaking his collarbone; after the bout, Orton was tended to by medics
Edge defeated the Undertaker in a TLC match at 23:21 after shoving Taker off the top of the ladder and sending him through several tables set up in the aisle; pre-match stipulations stated the winner would earn the vacant World Heavyweight Title and that Taker would be banned from the WWE if he lost; Curt Hawkins & Zach Ryder interfered on be half of Edge at the 17-minute mark and Chavo Guerrero Jr. & Bam Neely interfered on behalf of Edge at the 21-minute mark; after the contest, Edge, Hawkins, Ryder, Guerrero, & Neely celebrated at the entranceway, with Vickie Guerrero then appearing and hugging the new champion; after they all left ringside, Taker struggled to his feet and walked backstage as the show came to a close (Edge: A Decade of Decadence)
