Samoa Joe pinned NWA X Division Champion Christopher Daniels with an Island Driver from the middle turnbuckle to win the title at around the 15-minute mark; the show began with the match already in progress and Daniels bleeding from the face; during the match, it was noted Jushin Liger would not face Daniels at Lockdown, as scheduled, but Liger would be the Team Japan captain in the upcoming World X Cup; late in the bout, the challenger hit the Best Moonsault Ever but Joe kicked out at 2, prompting chants of “This is awesome” (The Best of the X Division Vol. 2)
Brother Ray & Brother Devon fought NWA Tag Team Champions Chris Harris & James Storm (w/ Gail Kim & Jackie Haas) to a no contest in a non-title streetfight at around the 7-minute mark after Petey Williams knocked out the referee, with Bobby Roode, Eric Young, A-1, & Williams assaulting Team 3D; Brother Ray came to the ring in possession of an American flag; moments later, Brother Runt ran out to make the save, with A-1 sustaining a 3D through a table set up in the ring (Best of the Tag Teams Vol. 1)
