Jerrelle Clark fought Cassidy Riley to a no contest at 1:55 when Monty Brown walked out, stared down Clark, and dropped him with a clothesline; moments later, Brown took the mic, told Riley to leave, and then hit him with the Pounce when he didn’t; Brown then took the mic again and cut a promo on Larry Zbyszko, saying he wouldn’t sit on the backburner any longer and told TNA to give him what he deserves; Brown then challenged the winner of the NWA World Champion Raven vs. Rhino match later in the show to a title match; Jeff Jarrett then interrupted, saying there were more unemployed wrestlers backstage than there were on the actual roster and that they were there to take Brown and Jarrett’s jobs; Jarrett then said he was the one that got Brown on the weekly pay-per-views, made him a star, and would get him involved on the new Spike TV show; as the two had words, Kip James came out to calm down his partner later in the show; Jarrett then said he would have the NWA World Title by Oct. 1, saying he deserved it more than Kevin Nash, AJ Styles, Sting, or Abyss; Jeff Hardy then interrupted, slid into the ring, and fought with Jarrett until Hardy tossed Jarrett to the floor; Hardy then attempted a dive to the floor but hit the guard rail instead; the two continued to fight, with Jarrett attempting the Stroke onto a steel chair only for Hardy to hit a DDT on the chair instead; James then pulled Jarrett to safety

Pay-per-view bouts – featured an opening graphic which read “In Memory of Eddie Guerrero, 1967-2005;” there were several chants of “Eddie” during the opening crowd shot; included Mike Tenay & Don West on commentary; included Shane Douglas conducting a backstage interview with BG James, Konnan, & Ron Killings regarding the mystery acquisition and their upcoming match, during which Konnan made it clear he didn’t trust Kip James as the guest referee; featured Douglas conducting a backstage interview with James Mitchell & Abyss regarding Abyss’s upcoming No DQ match against Sabu; included footage of someone leaving the locker room, implied as the new acquisition, with Christian Cage then walking out to the ring and cutting a promo about why he was in TNA; moments later, NWA World Champion Jeff Jarrett, TNA Tag Team Champions America’s Most Wanted, and Gail Kim were shown backstage watching on, then another shot of Douglas and Monty Brown watching on elsewhere; Cage said he didn’t like working somewhere where people pull things out of other people’s asses and where the same people come out every week and do the same thing; Cage then said he was in TNA to wrestle and, without saying WWE, said the other wrestling company was old, boring, and lacking direction; moments later, Cage issued a challenge to NWA World Champion Jeff Jarrett; Scott D’Amore, with Bobby Roode, then came out to the ring, with West describing D’Amore as having a “shit eating grin;” D’Amore then talked about his memories with Christian, “Adam” (Edge), Chris Jericho, Lance Storm, Bret Hart, and others during their time together in Canada, and said that Team Canada, Jarrett, and Cage could rule TNA together; Roode then issued Christian an ultimatum, saying his opportunity was something everyone backstage had been working three years for and that he was either with them or against them; D’Amore gave Christian a Team Canada T-shirt, with Christian saying it was the right size but he would have to consider if it was the right fit (Christian’s surprise debut); featured Douglas conducting a backstage interview with Monty Brown regarding his upcoming match against Jeff Hardy, during which Brown said Christian reeked but it wasn’t of awesomeness; included Douglas conducting a backstage interview with Christopher Daniels, Roderick Strong, & Alex Shelley in which Shelley questioned where Samoa Joe was, with Daniels saying he knew Joe would be there for the team when the time was right; featured Douglas conducting a backstage interview with Jarrett, alongside AMW, in which Jarrett said new names like Rhino, Cage, and Team 3D wanted to take out the TNA originals but it couldn’t be done; included Douglas conducting a backstage interview with TNA X-Division Champion AJ Styles regarding his upcoming title defense and Joe’s assault earlier in the show against Daniels, during which he said he would deal with Joe for breaking the unwritten moral code of the X-Division; featured an ad promoting Turning Point 2005 on Dec. 11; included Douglas conducting a backstage interview with Rhino & Team 3D regarding their upcoming match against Jarrett & AMW, during which Brother Ray said “Vaya Con Dios” to Guerrero before Team 3D showed off “Eddie” written on their wrist tape:
Raven pinned PJ Polaco (mystery opponent) with a reversal into the DDT at 5:54; prior to the bout, Larry Zbyszko, along with a security guard, confronted Raven in the ring and said their issue would be resolved that night one way or another, offering Raven a release or saying he would put him through hell; Raven responded by holding up two middle fingers, with Zbyszko then questioning whether Raven’s rumored new girlfriend was calling his shots; after Raven was held back, Zbyszko called for the opponent to come out; Zbyszko and his security guards remained ringside for the bout; Cassidy Riley came out late in the bout to help Raven but Polaco hit him with a kendo stick
Ron Killings, BG James, & Konnan defeated Eric Young, Robert Roode, & A1 at 10:22 in a hockey stick match when Killings pinned Young with a legdrop off the top, which broke a hokey stick held over Young’s crotch by James & Konnan; following the 3 Live Kru’s entrance, Konnan cut an in-ring promo regarding the passing of Eddie Guerrero, leading to a loud “Eddie” chant from the crowd; Kip James was the guest referee for the match; after the match, James and Konnan shook hands; hockey sticks were positioned at the ringposts and could be used during the bout
Monty Brown pinned Jeff Hardy with the Pounce at 8:51 after avoiding the Swanton; stipulations stated the winner would be the #1 contender for the NWA World Title; during the match, there were dueling chants of “Let’s go, Hardy” and “Let’s go, Monty;” after Hardy missed the Swanton, several fans chanted “Pounce”
Samoa Joe, Alex Shelley, Roderick Strong, & Christopher Daniels defeated Chris Sabin, Sonjay Dutt, Austin Aries, & Matt Bentley (w/ Traci Brooks) in Elimination X at 23:15; Aries pinned Strong with a brainbuster and 450 splash at 12:02; Daniels pinned Aries with a roll up at 12:15; Dutt submitted to a crossface from Shelley at 15:07; Bentley pinned Shelley with the superkick at 15:49; Bentley submitted to Joe’s Coquina Clutch at 20:35 after sustaining the Muscle Buster; Daniels pinned Sabin with Angel’s Wings; after the bout, Joe argued with Daniels, saying he should have gotten the final pinfall; the two appeared to make up, only for Joe to attack Daniels in the ring and then hit him over the head with a steel chair on the floor; moments later, Joe continued to assault a bloody Daniels before rolling him back into the ring and dropping him with the Muscle Buster; Joe fought off two security guards before hitting the move again, this time onto a steel chair; referees and security then swarmed the ring as the crowd chanted “One more time;” after Joe left ringside, NWA X Division Champion AJ Styles came out to watch as Daniels was put on a stretcher and taken backstage; moments later, Don West left the broadcast booth to try to get an update but Daniels’ ambulance drove away before any information could be relayed (Unstoppable: The Best of Samoa Joe)
Abyss (w/ James Mitchell) pinned Sabu in a No DQ match at 8:48 after dropping Sabu with the Black Hole Slam onto a steel chair wrapped in barbed wire
NWA X Divison Champion AJ Styles pinned Petey Williams at 18:21 after hitting the Styles Clash off the top rope; Jeremy Borash served as the ring announcer for the match; during the match, there were dueling chants of “Let’s go, AJ” and “Let’s go, Petey;” A1 was in the challenger’s corner but was ejected at the 7-minute mark by the referee; during the closing moments of the bout, Samoa Joe appeared at the entrance, with a towel covered in Christopher Daniels’ blood wrapped around his neck (Phenomenal: The Best of AJ Styles Vol. 2)
Rhino & Team 3D defeated NWA World Champion Jeff Jarrett (w/ Gail Kim) & NWA Tag Team Champions America’s Most Wanted at 15:46 when Brother D-Von pinned James Storm following the 3D; after the bout, Jarrett broke a guitar over Rhino’s head, with Team 3D then setting Jarrett up for a 3D on a table; moments later, Brother Ray attempted to powerbomb Gail until Eric Young and Scott D’Amore ran out and helped gang up on Team 3D; Christian Cage then ran out with a steel chair, revealing he was wearing a Team Canada T-shirt; Christian then dropped D’Amore with the Unprettier, then threw Jarrett off the top rope and aided Team 3D put Jarrett through a table with a 3D; the show then ended as Christian and Team 3D celebrated in the ring
