AJ Styles pinned the Sandman at 5:56 with a Styles Clash off the top after Raven slid into the ring and hit Sandman with a steel chair as both Sandman and Styles were on the top rope; during his entrance, the Sandman jumped into one of the dancing girls cages near the entrance cage, danced with her, pulled her hair back, and kissed her; moments later, he opened a beer can and poured the beer into a ringside fan’s mouth
Vader & Dusty Rhodes defeated Ron & Don Harris (w/ Sonny Siaki & Desire) via disqualification at 5:43 when Siaki interfered; prior to the bout, Goldylocks conducted a backstage interview with Dusty Rhodes, alongside Vader, as to whether he thought NWA World Champion Jeff Jarrett would join Sports Entertainment Xtreme; Rhodes then spoke about the upcoming tag team match; following the entrances, Rhodes took the mic and noted Vince Russo didn’t come out as he said he would, then said he expected more from Siaki & Desire, who he helped get into the business; during the match, Ron Killings was shown watching on in the crowd; it was noted during the bout that Rhodes’ son, Cody Rhodes, just won the Georgia high school state title and was undefeated; after the bout, Vader hit a Vader Bomb on Siaki before Rhodes spanked Desire with a strap; moments later, Nikita Koloff walked out to the ring and confronted Rhodes, with Rhodes dropping Koloff with an elbow to the head, clearing him from the ring; Rhodes bled near the eye during the contest

Pay-per-view bouts – featured a video segment in which the words “Taken hostage by an opressed dictator,” “The handcuffs are off” and more were shown spliced in with war footage; moments later, D-Lo Brown came out to the ring; as the crowd chanted “D-Lo,” he took the mic and said he had been asked for a month straight what he would say if he was given a mic to talk about the WWE; he then said “Those sons of bitches don’t mean a damn to me, I don’t care about them;” he then said he had given 150% each night for 6 years but was told he wasn’t good enough, couldn’t get the job done, and wasn’t a team player; he was then told he didn’t know how to cut a promo and was sent to the minor leagues to teach the new kids how to do it; Brown then said he was tired of not playing on a level playing field and that’s why he was in NWA TNA; he then promised he would be a bonofide superstar in NWA TNA; moments later, Sonny Siaki interrupted, shook D-Lo’s hand, introduced himself, and said the only way D-Lo could accomplish his goal was to join Sports Entertainment Xtreme; D-Lo said he wasn’t there to be part of a group and turned down the offer, with Siaki then making fun of D-Lo until D-Lo hit the Sky High and Lo Down on him (D-Lo’s debut):
