Steve Austin fought WWF World Champion Kurt Angle to a no contest at around 12:20 when Triple H came ringside, pulled referee Earl Hebner out of the ring as Austin had Angle covered with the Stunner, led Hebner around the ring by his hair, and ultimately knocked him out with a punch; after the bout, Austin threw Angle to the floor and invited Triple H into the ring; after battling in the ring and at ringside, Triple H busted Austin open with a series of blows with a steel pipe, finally laying Austin across the announce table and posing on top of Austin’s motionless body as the show came to a close (Action!)

WWF Tag Team Champions the Dudley Boyz defeated Rikishi & Haku when D-Von pinned Haku after the Undertaker and Kane interfered, with Kane hitting a chokeslam on Haku; after the bout, Taker and Kane hit chokeslams on the tag team champions before leaving ringside
Vince McMahon & Trish Stratus fought William Regal & Stephanie McMahon to a no contest when, as Vince and Stephanie were in the ring together, Vince grabbed the microphone, said he always gets what he wants, and dragged Trish into the ring where she was slapped by Stephanie and sustained a neckbreaker by Regal; after the bout, Stephanie soaked Trish with a mop drenched in fecal matter before Vince said Trish was nothing but a toy and he was done playing with her; McMahon then poured the reamainder of the mop bucket onto Trish

WWF IC Champion Chris Jericho pinned Raven with the Lionsault after outside interference from the masked woman backfired and Raven was hit by a 2×4; Molly Holly came down late in the contest to try to counter the masked woman’s presense
Jerry Lawler & the Acolytes defeated Val Venis, the Goodfather, & Bull Buchanon (w/ WWF Women’s Champion Ivory, the Kat, & Steven Richards) when Lawler pinned Venis with a knee to the throat after Venis sustained a spinebuster; after the bout, the RTC carried the Kat backstage; prior to the bout, Tazz took over Lawler’s commentary duties for the remainder of the show
WWF Hardcore Champion the Big Show pinned Essa Rios at 7:25 by pressing him horizontally against the wall backstage; the bout was originally scheduled to be Show defending against Kurt Angle and WWF World Champion the Rock but, after interference from other Steve Blackman, Hardcore Holly, Crash Holly, Billy Gunn, Albert, Essa Rios, and Perry Saturn, Show scored the pinfall on Rios backstage; after the bout, Steve Austin came to the ring and fought off a number of wrestlers before having a staredown with the Rock as the show went off the air, with Austin on the floor and Rock inside the ring (WWF Hardcore)

The Rock defeated WWF World Champion Steve Austin (w/ Vince McMahon) via disqualification in a steel cage match at around the 6-minute mark when McMahon entered the cage and knocked out referee Tim White with a double axe handle after the challenger hit the Rock Bottom; moments prior to the finish, McMahon pulled the referee out of the cage to prevent him from counting the pin as Rock had Austin covered with the People’s Elbow; the referee responded by shoving McMahon to the floor; after the match, Triple H entered the cage with a sledgehammer, teased a face turn, but eventually helped in triple teaming the Rock; prior to the bout, McMahon did the ring introduction for the champion; as the show came to a close, the Rock was beaten bloody while Triple H, Austin, and McMahon shared a few beers (Rock’s last match until July) (Action!)

Chris Jericho & Kane fought Lance Storm & WWF Hardcore Champion Mike Awesome to a no contest when Rob Van Dam and Tommy Dreamer came out of the crowd and attacked the WWF team as Jericho had the Walls of Jericho applied on Storm; within moments, the ring filled up with the Dudley Boyz, Tazz, Justin Credible, Rhyno, and Raven who then joined RVD and Dreamer in attacking their own WWF teammates; as the brawl settled down, Paul Heyman left the commentary table, entered the ring, and made it clear that the war between the WWF and WCW had just been taken to the extreme as the new ECW group was formed (Tommy Dreamer’s debut and RVD’s return to WWF TV after a 4-year absence)
