Pay-per-view bouts – featured opening footage shot the night before of ECW TV Champion Taz arriving to the building and walking into the empty arena; included Joey Styles on commentary; featured the announcement by Styles that pay-per-view companies had prohibited ECW from airing the the Sabu vs. the Sandman dueling canes match, taped earlier in the night, but said ECW would release it on home video and show as much as they could on television; moments later, Jason & Nicole Bass appeared and threatened Styles into showing a tape filmed earlier in the day of Tommy Dreamer arriving to the arena; the footage showed Dreamer arriving alone, without Beulah McGillicutty, and Jason implied Beulah had joined Justin Credible’s camp; included a video package of Credible reviewing his victories over the Great Sasuke, Gran Hamada, and Mikey Whipwreck as well as his feud with Tommy Dreamer; featured a video package reviewing the feud between Taz and Bam Bam Bigelow:
Jerry Lynn & Chris Chetti defeated Little Guido & Tracey Smothers (w/ Tommy Rich) at 8:18 when Lynn pinned Smothers with a roll up after Rich accidentally hit Smothers with the Italian flag; after the bout, Smothers shoved Rich away for costing him the match
Masato Tanaka pinned Doug Furnas (sub. for W*ING Kanemura) (w/ Mr. Right) at 5:45 with the Roaring Elbow; prior to the bout, Right cut an in-ring promo saying he and Vince McMahon arranged to have Kanemura’s contract bought out, keeping him in Japan, so that Furnas could face Tanaka instead; during his entrance, Tanaka came ringside carrying an FMW banner; after the match, Right grabbed the mic and berated Furnas, saying Furnas would never be on WWF Monday Night Raw again; moments later, Furnas laid Right out, told Right that McMahon could kiss his ass, and then put on an ECW t-shirt before leaving ringside (Tanaka’s debut)
Rob Van Dam (w/ Bill Alphonso) pinned 2 Cold Scorpio at 22:08 with a modified victory roll; prior to the bout, RVD came ringside wearing a Louie Spicolli tank top; after the bout, RVD offered his hand for Scorpio to shake it, then pulled the hand away as Scorpio went for it; moments later, Scorpio offered his own hand to RVD, with RVD shaking it and Scorpio then attacking RVD until Sabu made the save; as RVD and Sabu both attempted to put Scorpio through a table in the ring, the Sandman made the save and dropped Sabu with a hurricanrana off the top onto the table; after clearing RVD and Sabu from ringside, Scorpio cut an in-ring promo praising ECW and the Sandman for watching his back; Sandman and Scorpio then shared a beer and danced in the ring
New Jack & Spike Dudley defeated Buh Buh Ray & D-Von Dudley (w/ Joel Gertner, Sign Guy & Big Dick Dudley) and Axl Rotten & Balls Mahoney in an elimination match at 13:23; Spike & New Jack didn’t appear until the 3-minute mark; at the 9-minute mark, both hit splashes off the balcony which put the Dudleyz through tables on the floor; Buh Buh pinned Balls at 12:30 following the 3D; New Jack pinned D-Von with a chairshot off the top after a guitarshot to the head and sustaining the Acid Drop from Spike
Hardcore TV – 3/18/98: Tommy Dreamer pinned Justin Credible (w/ Jason & Nicole Bass) at 8:58 with the DDT; prior to the bout, Jenna Jameson was introduced as the latest ECW commentator and attempted to interview Credible on his way to the ring but he and his entourage snubbed her; moments later, Jenna said she would interview someone she actually wanted to talk to, prompting Dreamer to appear and kiss Jenna on the lips; late in the bout, Beulah McGillicutty appeared wearing a neckbrace, winked at Credible, but then dropped him with a low blow; moments later, Beulah dropped Jason with a DDT before she was caught in a bearhug by Bass; Mikey Whipwreck then appeared on a crutch and dropped Bass with the Whippersnapper before Credible attacked his leg with the crutch (Whipwreck’s surprise return after a 3-month absence)
Bam Bam Bigelow pinned ECW TV Champion Taz to win the title at 13:36 after falling backward to escape the Tazmission, with both men falling through the ring, then pulling Taz out of the hole in the canvas to score the win; after the bout, Bigelow was congratulated in the ring by Shane Douglas, Francine, & Chris Candido; moments later, Paul Heyman appeared in the commentary position and said the Al Snow / John Kronus match was off and he needed Styles to stall for him while they prepared to show the pre-taped Sabu vs. Sandman bout, despite pay-per-view companies saying they couldn’t air it (The Rise & Fall of ECW)
Al Snow (mystery partner) & ECW Tag Team Champion Lance Storm defeated ECW World Champion Shane Douglas (w/ Francine) & ECW Tag Team Champion Chris Candido (w/ Tammy Sytch) at 4:48 when Snow pinned Douglas with the Snow Plow; prior to the bout, many fans waved styrofoam heads in the crowd as Al Snow vs. John Kronus was scheduled for the show but called off at the last minute; upon Storm’s entrance, Tammy – who came out with Storm – announced herself as Storm’s surprise partner but then turned on Storm; moments later, Candido berated Storm asking what he was going to give him as a surprise, with Storm replying “Head” and prompting Snow to appear; a corner of the ring was taped off following the hole in the mat sustained during the Taz / Bam Bam Bigelow match; after the match, fans threw dozens of the styrofoam heads into the ring as Snow celebrated in the crowd

Featured Joey Styles conducting an in-ring interview with ECW World Champion Shane Douglas, with Francine, during which Douglas bragged about Sabu being out of action and that he now had no challenger for Guilty as Charged; Douglas eventually called for Taz to come out and offered him all the money he wanted in exchange for injuring Sabu; Taz turned down the money, Francine, and an offer to join the Triple Threat, which he noted was dead; Taz then said he wanted Douglas’ belt, with Douglas then dropping to his knees and begging Taz to change his mind as Taz left ringside and the crowd chanted “Taz is going to kill you;” several minutes later, Douglas called out Paul Heyman until Taz appeared in the aisle and told Douglas to get out of the ring; Francine then walked out on Douglas after claiming she was the only one that stuck by him, after Bam Bam Bigelow and Chris Candido left:
ECW – 12/31/98: Spike Dudley pinned Lance Storm (w/ Tammy Lynn Bytch) in an impromptu match within seconds with the Acid Drop; prior to the bout, Storm cut a promo on Jerry Lynn, at home recovering from injuries, and Mikey Whipwreck, who had left ECW for WCW, and said now he didn’t have any competition for his scheduled three way dance at the next pay-per-view; after Storm laid out an open challenge, Spike appeared and attacked him
