Pay-per-view bouts – featured Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, & Booker T on commentary; included an opening segment in which John Laurinaitis walked out and noted it was the 25th anniversary of Survivor Series and his 10th anniversary with WWE; featured an ad promoting WWE 12; included a backstage segment with CM Punk and David Otunga in which Otunga said Laurinaitis ordered Punk to apologize to Michael Cole before his WWE World Title match later in the show, with Punk responding he would think about it after he wins the belt; featured a backstage promo by the Rock in which he talked about being in the crowd in 1977 to see Peter Maivia face Superstar Billy Graham, then hanging out with Andre the Giant years later as his dad Rocky Johnson defended the WWF (instead of WWE) tag team titles; Rock then noted his 1996 TV debut, despite his haircut and outfit, and said it started a legacy before running down his classic catchphrases; Rock continued by saying he would put boots to asses in regards to Mike Mizanin & R-Truth before then discussing John Cena, prompting massive boos and chants of “Cena sucks;” Rock went on to rant about Cena, prompting a chant of “lady parts” from the crowd, and then led the crowd in singing Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York;” included a backstage segment with ADR speaking with Nikki & Brie Bella, with Laurinaitis walking in and reminding ADR of the importance of his title defense; after ADR said it would be one of his many MSG title defenses and walked off, Laurinaitis was shown texting on his phone; featured anti-bullying comments from Ariel Winter, Miz, Cena, David Arquette, Chelsie Hightower, Alicia Fox, Jordin Sparks, Sheamus, Eve, WWE Tag Team Champion Evan Bourne, and Angus T. WWE US Champion Dolph Ziggler pinned John Morrison at 10:44 with the Zig Zag after avoiding the Starship Pain; Vickie Guerrero was in Ziggler’s corner until she was ejected from ringside late in the bout; there were numerous chants of “We want Ryder” and “Woo woo woo” during the bout; Morrison was noticably booed during his entrance and the match; after the contest, Vickie ran back out to the ring and Ziggler took the mic, responding to the “We want Ryder” chants, saying Ryder wasn’t there; Ziggler went on to say he wasn’t a show off because he was just really, really good at what he does; Ryder then ran out to the ring, hit the Rough Ryder on Ziggler, and cleared Ziggler from the ring
WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix (w/ Natalya Neidhart) pinned Eve with a Glam Slam off the top at 4:34 in a lumberjill match; lumberjills for the match included Natalya, Kelly Kelly, AJ, Alicia, Kaitlyn, Aksana, Nikki & Brie Bella, Tamina, Rosa Mendes, and Maxine
Wade Barrett, Jack Swagger, WWE US Champion Dolph Ziggler, Hunico, & WWE IC Champion Cody Rhodes defeated Randy Orton, Sheamus, Sin Cara, Mason Ryan, & WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston in an elimination match at 22:11; Orton pinned Ziggler at 1:34 with the RKO; Sin Cara was eliminated at around the 3-minute mark when he injured himself doing a move to the floor, with trainers then tending to him on the floor and taking off his boot; following the injury, the crowd chanted “We want Ryder;” Rhodes pinned Ryan with the Beautiful Disaster and Crossroads at 8:52 after Hunico made the blind tag; after the fall, the crowd chanted “Cody;” Barrett pinned Kingston with a boot to the face and Wasteland at 14:06; Sheamus was disqualified at 18:26 when he didn’t abide by the referee’s 5-count while assaulting Swagger in the corner; after the decision, Sheamus kicked Swagger in the head; Orton pinned Swagger after the boot from Sheamus at 19:34; Orton pinned Hunico with a RKO as Hunico came off the top at 21:39; Barrett pinned Orton with the Wasteland after Orton dropped Rhodes with an RKO; late in the match, it was noted by the commentary team that Sin Cara sustained a torn patella (Rhodes’ debut wearing knee pads; Kingston’s tights featured the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters)
The Big Show defeated World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry via disqualification at 13:04 when Henry kicked Show in the groin after avoiding the punch to the face; prior to the bout, crew members were shown reinforcing the ring; the crowd chanted “Boring,” “Daniel Bryan,” and “Undertaker” during the bout; late in the match, Henry knocked Show through the timekeeper’s barricade with a tackle; Show later hit a superkick, prompting a “HBK” chant, and an elbow drop off the top, prompting a “Randy Savage” chant; after the bout, Henry locked Show’s ankle in a steel chair but missed a bomb off the ropes, with Show then knocking Henry out with a punch; as Henry was knocked out, the crowd chanted “Daniel Bryan,” with Show then locking Henry’s ankle in the chair and hitting a legdrop onto it; Henry was then tended to by medics as Show left the ring, with Henry later yelling at the medics not to touch him
CM Punk defeated WWE World Champion Alberto Del Rio to win the title at 17:16 via submission with the Anaconda Vice; Ricardo Rodriguez served as ADR’s ring announcer for the bout while Howard Finkel served as Punk’s ring announcer; early in the bout, the crowd chanted “We want ice cream” and “Colt Cabana” at Punk; at the 16-minute mark, Punk hit an elbow drop off the top, prompting a “Randy Savage” chant; after the contest, and Finkel announcing him as the new champion, Punk jumped into the crowd to celebrate
